Hands down the best place to go for Archery. I purchased and had my bow set up at a different shop. I was having a terrible time with my bow and was extremely frustrated because I couldn’t even get it sighted in without problems. I took it into Downwind as my last chance before I got rid of the bow. Right off the bat they noticed several problems with the way the bow had been set up and quickly worked to fix my numerous problems. Within an hour they had given me personal attention and had my bow up and running like a dream. They are amazing! They really know what they are doing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my archery needs.

Bud is the best in the area by a long shot. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy. I was in to have my Hoyt restrung, in the process, he checked everything over and adjusted the timing of my cams. When I switched to broad heads, there was no tuning required at all. I’m still shooting lights out out to 70 with zero adjustment. In a few minutes, Bud had my bow restrung and well tuned. A few days later I was in with my son for some work on his bow and Bud remembered me, asked about my bow, and told me if my string stretches, to bring it back in so he can adjust my peep. Pretty cool guy. I’ll definitely be back.

This is best full service archery shop in Idaho. We had a bow mishap on an antelope hunt this fall and Bud had us up and going again in no time. They don’t nickel and dime you every time they touch your bow, and the whole family are just great people. I only wish they would relocate to Northern Idaho so they could outcompete all the substandard bow shops up here. Best customer service and best bow knowledge in Idaho hands down.

This shop and the staff were amazing!! They were all very helpful! Bud was very busy but made sure to take care of me and my daughter making sure we were tuned in with our new bows. They even have kids corner for my grandbabies to enjoy while we had fun too!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would!I was referred to Bud and his shop by a really good friend of mine. Best referral I have ever received. With me being a left handed shooter, it is really hard to find a shop that has anything readily available to try out. He had a great selection and I was able to find a bow that I wanted to purchase. He sold it to me at a ridiculously good deal and I was extremely impressed with how well he and his wife took care of me.What I am more impressed with though is the warranty that they offer if you decide to buy a bow through them. I had this bow for about a week or so and shot the heck out of it. Long story short, while drawing the bow back, something malfunctioned and I wasnt able to shoot it anymore. I immediately called Downwind to ask if I could bring it in and have them check it out. I wasnt too worried though because the bow company had a lifetime warranty. I just wanted to see what I needed to do to get it fixed and working again.I took it in right away and had them take a look at it. Bud and his family were so good to let me know that I would be taken care of and that I had nothing to worry about. He offered me a loaner bow until they could speak with the rep of that company to see what needed to be done to get it all fixed. Luckily, this all happened a month before archery season so I wasnt too worried about needing a loaner right at the moment. It was good to know that they were willing to offer it if I ever needed it. AMAZING customer service!He kept me in the loop while speaking with the rep which I really appreciated. I never felt worried about them forgetting about me or just leaving me on the back burner. Awesome communication throughout the whole process and I really appreciated it. I am afraid to give ALL the details of what Bud and his family did for me just because Im afraid that too many people would take advantage of them. I can honestly say though they went way above and beyond of what they needed to do. I am impressed and appreciate everything they have done for me so far.This is an amazing company. My bow had a come apart (top limbs) a little over a week ago, so i took it into downwind on a recommendation from a friend. I will never do my archery business anywhere else!! Bud is absolutely amazing! very friendly, profession, and knowledgeable. Bud contacted me after business hours to let me know that my limbs, cams, and new strings had arrived. He called me the next day to let me know that my bow was ready. Upon arriving to pick up my bow, I was greeted with a smile and then bud offered to help me get it dialed in and even ran it through the chrono. I absolutely recommend downwind archery for all of your archery needs!

Wide selection of bows Like Hoyt and PSE ... and if you have never shot the ELITE you are really in for a treat has to be the smoothest bow Ive ever shot the staff there is more than willing to set you up with all your hunting and target needs gotta be the best place but dont take my word for it just stopping and see for yourself
