Excellent customer service! I asked a lot of questions and they didnt seem bothered. As a first time fish owner, I needed to learn all I could. Positive experience. Like someone else said, Petco got my first dollar, but Glass Aquatics will get my business for now on.

Small but mighty! They’re so awesome I drive almost an hour! This is my very first fish tank experience and thanks to these guys I’m loving it! They are all very helpful and extremely knowledgeable and patient (I ask a lot of questions ️). If they don’t have it they’ll get it for you in a heartbeat and they actually care about who they get their fish from.

I ordered some plants online. The plants came in good health and have been growing well. There was initially a problem with them being out of one thing I ordered, but that was fixed by Vanessa, and Im very happy with what I received.Some of these plants are from Glass Aquatics.

Ayyyy this place is awesome! Everybody was very friendly. I just got a 20 gal tank set up. And even though Petco got my first dollar, these guys will be receiving every dollar I spend on this hobby from now on. The gentlemen there sold me equipment I needed at a VERY fair price. They don’t try to sell you unnecessary equipment either. And they tell you right from the start what you need to succeed. And if you have any questions. They are more than happy to answer them. Best store best customer service

This place usually has fair prices and a solid selection. Im not giving 5 stars because I hear different methods from each of the people that works there. The woman that works here (sorry I forgot your name) is always helpful and and friendly. She seems to know what she is talking about and she is outgoing where the other guys in the store are not as interested in helping.

What a fantastic shop! I went in for advice for setting up my very first tank and from the beginning theyve been nothing but helpful. Always greeted within seconds of walking in and willing to assist with any of the nine million questions Ive asked since I started this. Ive been in once a week at least since then getting everything set up and running well. Vanessa, Chris, Hayley, and the gentleman with the adorable dog are the best and I cant reccomend this shop enough!

Where do i even begin? We had such a bad experience with our last tank maintenance guy that our tank was COVERED with terrible algae and riddled with sub-par equipment. After some extensive research I stumbled upon Glass Aquatics. Boy am I happy I did!! Our tank has made a complete 180 and looks better than it ever has. Vanessa and her sweet daughter did the complete overhaul of our actual tank, it was instant gratification! Mike handled the plumbing and wiring, he went above and beyond making sure we have the best set up possible! Both Vanessa and Mike did exceptional jobs! I literally cant say enough about how wonderful they are. We are finally happy with our tank and cant wait to see what the future has in store for our tank!

The staff at Glass Aquatics are friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. They have a nice selection of both fresh and salt water fish. I spoke with Kyle about a few different options he went out of his way to make sure all of my needs were met.

Vanessa and Mike are great people. Always great service and fair prices. They even went and rescued my reeftank when it was having issues while I was away on vacation. All the livestock I’ve bought has been healthy and I’ve never brought home anything that was sick or weak. Clean shop and display tanks, reliably solid inventory too. I came home one day and my tank had started to produce this unstoppable algae. I was afraid my equipment had broke and it was going to cost me hundreds. I emailed Vanessa the owner and she immediately knew what to do. She hooked me up with $40 worth of supplies and overnight my tank completely cleared!! I did not know a lot about saltwater fish until I walked into Glass Aquatics.They took the time to teach me so I would not lose my animals. They never try to sell me anything I do not need and they always have a smile on their faces. I love going in and seeing new fish. If anyone wants to be treated with respect and get real good help this is the place to go. I have been to many stores but these guys have never lied to me.

My wife and I went into this store looking for just a couple of items. We left with a vast assortment of knowledge regarding the ins and outs of salt water aquariums. Needless to say my wife now wants to start working on a salt water aquarium. These guys are awesome and really know their stuff. We will be coming back once we are ready to start.

Super excited to have my new additions to the family. I am very happy that I found Glass Aquatics. They are friendly and honest. I had a light not working and to upgrade would have cost me hundred of dollars. They took the lights and fixed them only charging me for the bulbs. A rare find in 2019 when most businesses are money hungry

Got this tank about a year ago. Glass Aquatics did a great job setting it up, and teaching me how to take care of it. Fish are doing great.

I come in here frequently for supplies for my freshwater tanks and of course to see the beautiful fish. The frag rack is full of amazing corals. Supplies are plentiful and the selection is great. You’re always greeted when you walk in and treated like family. The owners are hands on and very passionate about what they do. The staff are knowledgeable and have helped me keep my tanks healthy. Glass has earned my business for good!!

Great place to go if you have questions about anything!! They don’t have those stupid generic answers for everything. The more details you can give them about ANY tank problems, the more precise they WILL BE in solving that problem. IF YOU HAVE PLANT ISSUES SEE KYLE!!! During my last visit, I arrived about 15min before closing time and ended up leaving about 30min after they closed because they are willing to go the extra mile or two to help you. Sound advice and great service are the reasons I have and will continue to visit their store.

Went by Glass Aquatics store in Hurst, after seeing there booth at Aquashella Dallas 2019. I was not disappointed. As I walked in I was greeted by a friendly guy with a beard, who asked “If I had any questions about anything let me know.” The store was very clean and all Fish and corals looked very healthy. I brought in some of my salt water tank to be tested, “ which they did for free!” They told me everything was in the normal range except my magnesium could goup a little bit. They showed me there bottle I could buy if I like for about $12. It was more then I would use but was a great price. Not pushy or anything. But I truly felt at home in the store. I also bought a beautiful Mandarin goby. They had a few so I was asked by the Super knowledgeable manger Kyle, if I wanted a male or female. To be honest I had done research on them feeding requirements, needs but never what sex, he told me the difference and asked which I would like, I picked a female. All in all I will keep going back to this store do to friendly staff, clean and well Lighted store. Plus good prices! Thank you Glass Aquatics for the amazing experience.Best Regards,Buck Head

I give Glass Aquatics 5 stars, normally I only go in when the owners are there though. I’ve been deployed for 3 months and I’m returning home soon. The lids to the 75gal we at the shop for a few weeks and when my other half went to pick them up they were 3/4 there(one whole part of the lid was missing) and assembled incorrectly. I’m quite certain this will be rectified before I return but it was just inconvenient for her dealing with it as I’m the one who usually takes care of the tank.

When it comes to LFS (Local fish store) these guys are great. Being an experienced reefer (15+ years) and traveler, Ive been to many stores.I moved to the area about a year ago and havent had much time to start up my fish tank. Went around to several stores in the area (almost 1 hour drive). And I am glad that a store like this is close to where I live.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Considering the size of the store, they have a great selection of both Salt and Fresh Water fish. And the prices are great!Awesome place for someone who has been in the hobby for a while also great for anyone looking into getting into this hobby, I highly recommend this place.

I was not greated when i walked into the store even though there were 2 employees standing right there. when i asked a question they just ignored it and brushed me off. the store was pretty small but well put together. they also dont have a very wide selection, but every thing they did have seemed pretty healthy and high quality.

I travel all over the metroplex for work, so I always try to find aquarium stores on my route. I found Glass Aquatics on google and decided to swing by. I’m so happy I did! Although they are small, they had quite a selection of fresh and saltwater fish. The Cichlid selection wasn’t huge but what they did have were great! Lots of stuff that I’ve never been able to find at other stores. I ended up bringing home several bags of fish, all of them super healthy and doing great! I will be visiting again the next time I’m in the area. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Very knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. The prices were great, too. I highly recommend Glass Aquatics to anyone that has an aquarium.

Those are facts not negative comments. You quarantining fish does not guarantee they will live in a newbies tank. Again I have two clown fish now that cost me $50 bucks that have been rocking along now just fine .Prices of fish are way over price and they make you feel like you have to buy an expensive fish in order for it to last . Recently bought two at another store for the price of one at this store and they are doing just fine.

Awesome experience and helpful staff. since the beginning of my reef experience, they spent time explaining how to maintain the tank and walking me through various options available to me. they assisted with tank setup, advice on fish and coral selection, and possible future upgrades to my system. They are not pushy to get a sale and make having a reef tank a pleasurable experience. A++.

This fish store has been so valuable in setting up my new aquarium. They have tested my water, diagnosed my fish and the yellow algae growing in my tank.The fish I have purchased there have actually helped the original fish get along better. Or perhaps it was the fish food and tiny blood worms. They just feel better either way.I have an 8 gallon biorb tank and they have the filters I needed as well as RO water. I have never paid this much attention to my fresh water tank but I am truly enjoying it more now that I know more.THANKS GLASS AQUATICS!!

Beyond satisfied at the customer service that I received from Mike. I just changed job locations and looked up saltwater stores on my way home, this store was one of the first. From the moment I stepped in Mike was extremely helpful, you can tell right off the back that they are in this business out of passion for reef keeping. He talked to me a bit about his display tanks which were full of coral, except for a bully clownfish that stressed out one of his favorite anemones! I have really enjoyed getting to know the people at GA. They are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. They are very concerned about getting the job done right and delivering a quality product. Animals look happy and float in the right direction at the store. Other fish stores look and smell more like the seafood counter at Kroger on Sunday at 9pm. Feel comfortable with them in my house and around my kids. Thinking about a turtle tank for my daughters room. Keep up the good work guys.

I went there looking for advice on adding fish to my aquarium. The gentleman working that day was very patient with me and my lack of knowledge. If you need fish and aquarium supplies I suggest you go there. Much nicer than the big-box pet stores.

Just found this place the staff is outstanding it is not the biggest salt water store but I would have to say the service is the best. If there is anything you want they can order it. If you join their program you get discounts on corals and fish and water, it is well worth joining the program I have saved a lot of money there.
