Best to have off road or 4 wheel drive auto. Mind blowing to be walking among Dino tracks. Its crazy to think we were where dinosaurs once traveled.
The best dino tracks in the valley. Please respect the site. Take only photos.
One of the best places in the area for quick access. All by itself and a short walk into a wash on a desert path. This was out of the way but the airport road and st george expansion has taken a toll on the site. People rock hunting and smashing surrounding rocks and circling tracks with stones are a downer lately. Check it out
Fun little day trip to ride the razors out to. Pretty simple and easy to get to. It was fun picking out all the tracks around there in the small creek bed. It is a small hike down to the tracks so just make sure to wear good shoes. Seems to be a pretty well taken care of area and the tracks are well preserved. We will probably visit from time to time as this area has lots of trails and areas to ride razors, dirt bikes, and atvs
Our van made it out fine on the dirt road. It was beautiful scenery. The footprints are a very short walk from the parking lot, easy to see, and this place is free. Go early in the morning though since there is no shade.
Interesting to learn and read about the area. 9 miles of dirt road and a very short walk.
This was a fun little place to bring the kids. It was quite a ways out there and have to take a dirt road which can be difficult with anything but a 4-wheel drive vehicle if it has rained at all. If it has been dry then you could make it in a sedan just fine. I was surprised to see that the tracks are not protected. You can walk all over them which means over time these tracks will be damaged. If your kids like dinosaurs then they will have fun out there.
Loved this. You can really see the tracks in the sandstone.
We read the reviews and were kinda surprised how easy it was to get there in a Nissa Sentra. Whoever said you need a 4 wheel drive is full of it! It’s just a dusty dirt road with lots of ATV & dirt bikes man up and go see this beautiful hidden treasure of dinosaur tracks. Google map will guide you and signs are very visible. Well worth the trek out there!
Cool Dino track site with a short walk. Hot and exposed. Zero shade so bring water and a hat
Short hike with open views of the South border of Utah. Dinosaur tracks were interesting to see, and an information display to learn more about it. The road to the trailhead is after 8 miles of sand and rock but can be accessed by most cars except when it rained. High ATV traffic there as well so drive carefully.
Nice easy hike to see tracks.
The tracks in this area can be reached by a dirt road from the Warner Valley exit off the Southern Parkway. The hike is less than a half mile and there is an interpretive sign explaining the tracks and the area. There are three different types of dinosaur tracks in this once wetland area. The scenery around the tracks is stunning with the red cliffs and colorful hills. Please be careful when visiting and help to preserve this site for future generations.
Fun spot to visit for kids and adults alike
Be aware that its a bumpy dirt road you drive to get there. A few nice tracks. Make a day of it and visit Fort Pearce, too.
So cool to see something so old! Out in the middle of nowhere and no other people were around! Beautiful and peaceful.
A fascinating place with lots of tracks, an information kiosk, and beautiful surroundings, unspoiled by development. I didnt even know this place existed until I was exploring BLM lands South of St George. The gravel and dirt road to this place is navigable in good weather (I found it in my 2wd Tundra pickup) - just take the Werner Valley exit off Southern Pkwy (SR 7) and head SOUTH toward Arizona. Fort Pearce is also in this area, about 2 mi away.
Very cool
Neat place to visit
Drive to the middle of nowhere to see some great tracks. Peaceful and quiet. Road is suitable for a minivan but be sure to watch out for ATVs and dirt bikes.
Doesnt look as protected as it should be. You can see the Dino tracks. Very cool. It is amazing how this formed.
Its fun but some are hard to find. Its nice to see them before they are gone by either man or nature.
What a beautiful area and a once in a lifetime ride with the quads to an actual dinosaur track in the rock, WOW!
Wow! A must see. The recent rains have covered some tracks up. I wish I was a local so I may volunteer my free time clearing the tracks up. Beautiful out in the natural terrain tracks. Dilophosorus and megapasourus
In have taken people to this site on several occasions and think it is very neat. The prints are clearly visible and there are quite a lot of them. It is fence but otherwise little regulated. You can walk right in the area where the tracks are located. Quite popular.
Its kind of out there, there are some very clear tracks and a map that shows the location of many more tracks, a lot of which I couldnt find. You dont need 4 wheel drive or anything but be careful which vehicle you chose to make the journey in. Cell phone coverage isnt great, its a dirt road, not many people around. If youre feeling a little adventurous I say try it out, otherwise dont make a special trip.
Very cool. Dinosaur tracks, embedded in stone, right out in the open that you can touch and feel.
Kids loved it! Easy to find the prints
A great site to visit. Easy to get to by car. The walk from the parking lot to the site is easy, but, if one has difficulty walking then the incline would take a little effort to get over. The information panel is adequate. Over 400 tracks have been identified. However, one would have to have a keen eye to find even 30. Amazing to realize this site was discovered in 1982. I wondered what was the guy doing when he discovered the tracks as Warner Valley is a very long and broad valley. Before reaching the track site there is the Fort Pearce Heritage Site to visit.
Been there many times! Still cool to take people there!
Nice place to visit. Short walk to see the tracks, nice photos displayed to show the tracks and the type of Dinos.
Nice run to there and interesting history
I didnt expect to see such prominent tracks, let alone be able to touch them. Awesome!
So cool. And finally a place where idiots havent trashed it so people can still enjoy it
Its a real good view. But this place needs more signs. Its kind of hidden so its hard to locate the trail!
Fun to see the fossilized tracks!
Fun and interesting place to visit.
We had a great adventure down a long dirt road to see the Diansour foot prints. The views of the valley are worth the drive.
Great place to see dino tracks.
One of my favorite hiking areas in Southern Utah
An easy walk to some fascinating prints
Way fun for the kiddos. Also fun to explore around that area too. Make sure you have alot of time to explore.
Fabulous tracks, easy to find, a dinosaur lovers must.
It is a short walk to the dinosaur tracks from where you park the car. Most of the tracks are congregated into one area and there is a sign that shows where they all are. It was fun for the kids to see. Leave the stroller in the car.
Not tough driving at all, but you can see so many dinosaur footprints. Some are very clear
A fine experience in and of itself, but you have to drive 30 minutes through bumpy, rocky dirt roads to get to it. A bit let down, to be honest, but may be someone elses cup of tea!
More proof that dinosaurs actually existed.
Fun to imagine the dinosuars walking around
Great tracks. Better to put on in them to see.
Pretty cool to see.
Some local friends from Utah took us here, a place we didnt know about. It was a neat place to visit and see. There is an area that is enclosed where you can see different dinosaur tracks in the ground.
Cool to see some real tracks.
It takes a while to get there on a dirt road but its very cool to see the actual dinosaur tracks after you get there its kind of hard to believe that they were here so many years ago
Enjoyable ride to get there an interesting history surrounding the area
Too far not much to see.
Long drive, short hike to the tracks but totally worth it! Amazing vistas and walking where dinosaurs walked!
Super amazing. God created dinosaurs on the 6th day.
Hard as hell to get to without high clearance 4wheel drive. Had to turn around cuz the road so bad.
Well preserved dino tracks, but please dont spoil it for future generations. I hate seeing people not respecting something so old and rare and cool to see!
Great short hike
Great adventure for the kids and for me ;) Hmm...Notice how warn down the tracks are for being 60 million years old? ha
Cool place. Kids loved it.
Ok but not wonderful. Easy access.
Pretty cool place. Walk on dinosaur tracks and see how many you can find.
Pretty cool if youve never seen a dinosaur track
Fun little hike for young kids. The dirt road to the trailhead was well graded.
The site is labeled as dinosaurs track but there is no signs or tracks or anything at all. Drove 45 min to reach there and no tracks. Disappointing
A few great tracks.
Great riding
Awesome!
Cool place
Great experience
Sure, tracksFun getting there
Fascinating. Easy to walk to.
Pretty cool
Awesome tracks!
Amazing
Amazing.
Who doesnt want to see a Dinosaur Track! :)
Really neat, people and erosion/nature are slowly destroying it, can only find a few tracks now, I remember there being more.
Great fun for the family
