I love the Quicksilver arcade! I wish that there was more concepts in the area like this fine establishment. Adult beverages, bar food and free arcade games that you can enjoy blasts from the past in classic stand up arcade cabinets.

This arcade bar is on the same floor as Marquee Cinemas. I stopped by to check this place out after watching a movie. It was a great feeling to see arcade games, consoles, and pinball here. I wish places like these existed in my city. They had some of the classic games I grew up playing like Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt, Mortal Kombat. This place can easily accommodate large crowds. The arcade games are free as long as you keep ordering something from the bar. But, you do have to pay for pinball and air hockey. They also serve non-alcoholic drinks. This place is even kid-friendly. Their website mentions that kids are allowed under adult supervision until 8 p.m. They offer their venue for hosting events. Also, this is probably the only place in town, from my knowledge, thats open until 1 a.m. This is a great spot to have fun with your friends and family, especially if you like arcade games and pinball.

Fun place, to take the kids(early) and enjoy a few beers(flying dog tropical wheat is a must try) pizza was good(thin crust) wings and Mac and cheese good too. Good way to kill a day.b

Quicksilver was phenomenal! Even when it got busy! We barely had to wait to play games, if at all. The bar staff worked like a well-oiled machine, too! With 5 bartenders I never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a drink. Each drink was spot on and delicious! I even ordered from DigDog, the food place inside. IT WAS EXCELLENT!This place is absolutely amazing and Im so glad we have something like it here in Huntington. Note that the drinks are a little expensive, but it absolutely makes since as all the games are free to play with the exception of pinball. DDR, and Air Hockey (which are all still SUPER cheap).

The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very nostalgic. I go multiple times a week.

Where else can a family of three enjoy an evening of good food, excellent beer, kid-friendly drinks, and free 80s arcade games for less than $50? I love this place! And I love taking people here when theyre visiting from out of town. We live in Charleston, but its worth the hour drive. Cant wait to go back...again!Oh, one more thing - they play great music (80s tunes of course) and it is not too loud. So you can actually talk to your friends and family and place your drink and food orders easily.

This place is great! Under 21 can play until 8 pm accompanied by an adult. Free to play if you are buying drinks. DDR is here! There is probably 70 arcade games, 30 pinball machines and 4 screens with emulators for console action. This is a privately owned establishment and most of the games are from a private collection. There is a kitchen open with typical bar food for video game fuel. The bartenders are quick with the pour and great at mixing some great cocktails with a video game twist. Also giant jenga on the patio and touchtunes juke box. Definitely a must stop if you are in Huntington WV.

As a bar, this place is great. As an arcade, its even better; arcade machines and home consoles new and old, and even pinball tables are available to play. The atmosphere is absolutely euphoric for anyone who likes video games, but even to those who arent fans, youll have plenty to do while waiting for your food.

Great new addition to Pullman Square. I love pinball and they have several brand new machines that are awesome. Pinball and air hockey are the only things you have to pay for, otherwise the games are free if youre buying drinks at the bar and there are a TON of games to choose from. Its great that its 21+ only after 8PM so you arent drunk around a bunch of kids. Highly recommended.

Wide selection of retro arcade games, however, it seems like half of them are down for maintenance on the regular. The price of drinks would be more acceptable if their games were functioning regularly.

Super fun place to go with friends! Tons of free arcade games, with classic home consoles thrown in as well. They have pinball too if thats your thing, but being quarters. The drinks are all super good and have fun themes too! Definately somewhere to check out if youre a bit nerdy

A true nerd heaven. With wall to wall arcade cabinets, pinball machines, and retro consoles, there is truly something here for everyone. The staff was delightful and never seemed too busy or bothered to help!

Im only giving one star because thats the least available. Service is poor. They troll negative reviews, troll me if you want. Id suggest using that time to improve your floundering business. They wont get my money.

We go here almost every friday...Very cool place. They even have non-alcoholic mixed drinks for kids themed after games and movies. The kids love it.

Great place for fun. They have a large selection of video games from the past several decades, all set for free play. Only the pinball machine(all new) and the air hockey take money to play. The bar is nice with a good selection of craft beers and themed drinks (both with and without alcohol). I didnt get a chance to try them, but the had a large selection of hit dogs.

This place is really fun. A surprising amount of arcade games and I love that they have some console games thrown in as well. The fact that the vast majority of games are free is a huge plus. Now that the kitchen is opening up, it really is a great spot to go with friends to spend a couple of hours.

Awesome bar. Huntington needed something like this. Service is great, even when busy. Drinks are good and fairly priced. HUGE selection of games, and everything except pinball is free. I was a big fan of the Butterbeer (dude, it comes with a COOKIE) and the Fairy Fountain (absinthe!!) Even when busy (like, opening weekend busy) the bar is big enough that you dont feel crammed in there. Possibly my new favorite bar in Huntington, even if it didnt have the games.As for the 1 star reviews.... Most people do not seem to be familiar with the policy. After 8pm, they are a strictly 21+ bar. Before 8pm, they allow kids, but they need to be with a parent if under 18. Dont expect them to be carding then, but dont be surprised if youre under 21 and are asked to leave once 8pm rolls around.Overall, awesome bar, great environment, great games.

Cool concept, love that the games are free. You do have to pay for pinball. Bar service wasnt the best. It wasnt super busy but bar tender was super slow and it took about 10 minutes to get served with 2 customers ahead of me with one drink each. I think better training should have been provided. They were out of peach snaaps which was needed for one of their signature drinks. It took 15 min to close the tab. Also, if youre paying with a $50 bill they should have change available (witnessed another customer have this issue). I understand this is a new business but better training should have been provided on opening weekend. I will definitely visit again. Hopefully things will be better next time. Im not a complainer, just leaving constructive criticism. I really want this place to do well b. (Note..this was a Sunday afternoon. There was maybe only 12 patrons total in the building)

Quicksilver is truly one of the best hang out places in the tri state area. Dont listen to the reviews saying that its too expensive or that theyre rude to minors (its not rude to remove a child from an adult arcade as according to their own rules). If youre looking for something fun to do other than just drink then this is definitely the place to be. If you arent interested in cool arcade games and free entertainment then maybe you should just drink at home. Otherwise the combination of craft beer, mixed drinks, and games make this totally worth the money.

Amazing, went with my wife and two daughters before the 8 oclock curfew. Staff was incredibly nice and well informed the employee with tattoos on their arms was incredibly kind and sweet to my daughters. Their game selection is phenomenal. A great place, to hang out and have some drinks or to just play some games with your kids or friends.

I left a negative review on facebook and they copied it to their wall and have people slander my name and business...now Im leaving negative reviews on everything of theirs because thats no way to do business

Great atmosphere and great service. When I get asked for my card at the door they are always welcoming and professional. It’s kept clean and the machines are well taken care of. Bartenders are nice and every time they do rounds on the floor to pick up glasses they always ask if you need anything :D

Great idea, great location, great people. Can’t wait to watch the idea evolve. Giant Connect 4 is a nice touch. The drinks are perfect and, parents: they are reliable about carding. Keep it up y’all.

I love the concept! This area needed something like this. You do have to pay for pinball ($1/game). The drinks are pricey in my opinion but it is to help cover the fact that most games are free. We went when they first opened and also couldnt go until 4pm. Not sure if they started opening early yet or not.

Great fun for kids early in the day and a fun date for adults at night. The drinks are priced well, always great service, and the selection of games is good.

The drinks are expensive, but it makes sense considering you get endless lives on almost all of the games. The whole place is a blast to the past, and my friends and I will definitely be back for more drinks and fun times!Only complaint I have is the need for more control of some kind over the children they let in until 8pm. They make a mess of things and ruin some of the controllers and machines. If they are going to allow loads of screaming, destructive kids in all day, some regulations should be put in place. Its too crowded. But thats my opinion.

My visit was a very fun and pleasant experience. The staff members were very kind and friendly, most of the arcades worked very well, the atmosphere is nice, and the drinks are very good. I hope this place will stick around for a while. :)

Horrible place with great games. It’s a shame when a good idea is bastardized by poor staff and a lack of any clue as to how to successfully open a business to the public. This bar is new and has a solid opportunity to turn it around, yet red flags point to the prudent decision of choosing another bar/arcade if you’re looking for a night of drinking without experiencing a hassle great enough to inspire you to take the time to write a one star review.

A very interesting and unique concept. Tons of older games, mostly free (pinball isnt) with a bar and food. I visited on a Saturday night - it was quite crowded and couldnt play many of the games.

My fiancé and I came during the day to check it out and it was awesome, so we came back later that night and had a blast. I’ve now become addicted to the Burger Time game lol. IDs are checked at the bar and at the front door after 8pm. I witnessed both times being checked. The employees are super cool and nice. They will even recommend drinks for you to try. There even one employee trying to convince the owner to sell pepperoni rolls! I can’t wait til you guys get your food up and going. Highly recommended.

I just found my favorite place in Huntington. The selection of games and staff are great which most of them are to play for free with the purchase of at least a soda. But what will keep me coming back is the return of DDR in arcade machine form in the Tri-State area in 8 years. I was taken back to a time when I played it at the mall when I younger.However my only drawback is the lack of food options besides hot dogs and corndogs. Hopefully the staff will take notice of that in the future.

Not the place for a birthday party; Food is overpriced and literally was served store bought pizza bites. I went to order pitcher drinks after paying over $100 for what little food we did get; was expected to pay $2 per drink for each guest because they do not offer pitchers like I was told when I booked the party.

Employee with tattoos on arms threatened to punch my younger brother that didn’t know to leave at 8pm for being under 21. It’s bad when the person just enjoying the arcade has to deescalate the situation by being calm to a violent employee. Not safe for kids.

Good drinks that can mask the alcohol taste if you really need to, friendly service, and games nearby. Id recommend opening up with two shooters (Counterspell) and then going into some of the taller cocktails from there.The games are for the most part either free, with the whole thing using an honor system for buying something for admission. Fair enough, I cant play DDR sober anyway.Only two problems I noticed during my visits there during a business trip last week: one of the machines (a space shooter, not sure what the title was) had broken controls, and the high score for some of the machines reset nightly (I really wanted to see if anyone would beat my Galaxian scores while I was there). Both are pretty negligible, and honestly there wasnt a time whenever I was disappointed by my visits there.

This is a great concept that many bigger cities have had for a few years now. Huntington now has one. Its spacious, many games to play, signature drinks are fun and reasonably priced, 14 beers on tap, and a full bar with a shooter list. Why are the drinks/beer roughly a dollar or so more than other local establishments? Because you get to play 90% of the games for free! Pinball, DDR and air hockey are $1 a play. Why $1? There is no way to set these games on free play like the other arcade games. The $1 also helps pay for the maintenance of all the games. Every other standup game and console are free to play as long as you purchase a drink. This is a brand new business and they are doing their best to work out the kinks as does everyone when first opening. Weekend nights are great for the people who love a big crowd. Those are obviously the nights you have to wait for your turn to order at the bar. If you want a more laid back evening then stop by early in the week where youll have plenty of room to relax and play. All of the local restaurants, shops, bars and businesses will benefit from having this at Pullman Square. Quicksilver gives Huntingtonians and visitors an extra option to add to their daily and/or evening plans. Support Huntington and support your local businesses.

I went with a friend on opening day and again with my husband a week later. Both experiences were fantastic!! Everyone was polite, the bar tenders were quick under pressure, and everything was very clean. We were carded at the door after 8 PM. Kids are allowed in until then but I think they are suppose to leave after 8. If you’re looking for something to do while having a drink this is the place. I recommend the TMNT cocktail, a game of Qbert, and giant jenga on the patio!

I work in Pullman Square where the barcade is located. I’ve had some employees tell me you have to be 21+ to enter, but some say 18+ to enter until 8pm. I’m 19 and my boyfriend is 20, and we’ve been dying to go since we heard there would be a new arcade in the area. We don’t want to drink, but since games are free we would buy non-alcoholic drinks if need-be. Just not sure if we can even get in? People, especially my coworkers, are seeming to LOVE this barcade. Anyone know the age limit?

Went with some friend from NYC. Everything about it wAs great. Our friends loved it too, said it’s just like a place they have up there, but even better bc if the free play. I don’t know why anyone is saying the staff was rude, bc they were all so great. Of coarse; we were nice to them, so maybe if they are rude, possibly it could be you? Just sayin. The drinks were so good, we tried as many as we could. The prices were surprisingly less than I thought they would be, so that was nice. Looking forward to going back again, and taking my underage son (before 8pm) soon also. Let’s be happy the kids have somewhere to go and something to do during the day. Don’t ruin it. If you are kicked out bc you are underage, don’t be a typical kid and cry about it, and come here making some horrible review bc your feelings are hurt. Rules are rules, doesn’t matter if you like them or not, it’s there for a reason.
