Neat little museum showcasing local history of the 1840s that has some period piece buildings outside as well. Plenty to see inside and out, and very educational! Give yourself about 2 hours - One for the inside and one for the outside. Enjoy!
Its been a while since we have been to the forks. The bridge to Ehler Island is open and every one who volunteered did a fantastic job on the suspension bridge and trails and campsites on the island. You cant do the whole trail as construction on the 9+37 bridge is on going. There is parking on both sides of the bridge.Dont miss this one its great!
Its a beautiful place to go and visit and walk with the family or just by yourself to get some alone time.
Love nature and how they make it their own little place along the Wabash so very cool! Awesome Place To Walk!!!
Great scenery &,I love the bridge. They did a lot if cleaning.
We took family pictures and had beautiful scenery
I love coming out here to take walks with my daughter. Its so refreshing.
Beautiful place with over a 1 mile of trails along the river and Wabash Erie Canal.
Great little park and walking trail
Neat place, the suspension bridge is beautiful!
Its a beautiful outdoor black topped trail thats wheelchair accessible. Theres a garden along the trail offering a variety of plants to see and smell. Benches are located in the garden and along the trail where you can rest, just enjoy the view, or even read a good book. There are different historic cabins that can be viewed up close. The trail runs along side the Wabash River making it a great spot to go fishing too!
Great place to explore and a good location to take pictures!
Wonderful paved walking trail, and several resting benches scattered around the trail. A nice new walking bridge over the river to the island. Adorable little house on the prairie type homes saved and preserved. There is a open pavilion to be used, bring your own chairs. Great view of the river.
I was there for a fundraising event. Love this place. Elegant, open, and perfect!
Nice place to go and enjoy the outdoors
School bus driver...I have driven here, a few times, on field trips!Lots of interesting things to see & hear! The students always seem to like it!
Ive grown up by the forks since I was little, and I love how much the park has changed, and evolved. Keep it up. Its worth seeing.
Excellent. Very beautiful and informative. I had a wonderful time with my daughter and her class on this field trip. I would suggest it to anyone.
Very pretty historic site with scenic walking paths along the Wabash river.
Great historical place to visit. Beautiful setting.
When with my Child on a school feild trip. Did not even know this existed here locally. Its very interesting if you enjoy local history. It really gives you a different perspective on the local Indians. Many of the Cheifs were also dirty to their own trib people. Its not all the white peoples fault.
Great History lesson since my husband and I didnt originate here. Also good snacks and friendly faces. We will go back again next time
Good place to take grandbabies so they can learn about their heritage

Great place for the whole family. We love the trail moving along the river.
Great place
Really enjoyed it. Learned some new things too.
So rustic and you can feel the history here
I like this place, the only problem is that it runs along a very busy highway. So it can be a little difficult to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. But its a nice trail and park area.
Great place to hike or bike, usually not to busy.
Love the trails dont know how far we walked it it had to be 5 miles or more

Really cool haunt put on by the local Boy Scout Troop in Huntington. $7.00 bucks per person and it takes 20 minutes to get through it.
Wonderful space for this wedding reception.
Great historical and nature walk. Plant and flower gardens were beautiful.
So much fun!

Interesting place.
This place is beautiful and relaxing!!
Had a good time even though it rained on us halfway through
The haunted canal was scary and exhilarating!
Beautiful park with history.
Beautiful scenery, nice trails, a river in the back, and all in a historical area. The history behind this area is almost just as interesting as the site itself, and I would recommend checking it out.
We called and received a private tour of the buildings and museums. It took about an hour and was only $5 per person. It was a nice history lesson of our local Indian and French heritage.
I attended along with a school field trip and found that the guides and in-costume presenters were very good at bringing the history alive.I enjoyed my time there and so did the 4th headers.
Great scenic walking trail along wabash river. Several historic buildings on site to view
