Had my son birthday party here. It was great. The food was good the kids enjoyed themselves. Very nice environment

This place has good food and great to have fun bowling with some friends. Rented out Vip room, for birthday and it was great. Could use another host instead of 1 person running around with the orders. But besides that, always have a great time here.

I came here with a few friends for my birthday on Saturday, October 3rd, and we were initially told to wait about an hour to bowl. So we got some drinks, played arcade games, and waited. Two and a half hours later, we finally get a lane. While waiting, we ordered a pizza and were told that it would be brought to us. 45 minutes waiting on the pizza, it was never brought to us, just sitting on the counter, cold. We had a great time bowling and the arcade was pretty cool, but with subpar service and high prices, I can’t find myself going back anytime soon.

I had fun.Dont go there expecting GREAT food.Scarf down your slice of pizza and quickly chew on that flavorless chicken wing... because its your turn.

Great place to spend a funny time with family or friends! You can do bowling or have an awesome 3D experience in the Arcade area. My friends and I had an excellent experience here. I highly recommend this place for kids and adults. The staff is very kind too. The food is not the best, but its ok too. I would visit this place again very soon. I had a lot of fun here!

Love this place! They participated in my sons make-a-wish and i cannot thank them enough. Everyone was great and the facility was amazing. He had a blast and we will be coming back!

Great place to get good game of bowling in with the family, its a little expensive but food is great.

The bowling was fun and it was during one of the specials so good value, but they didnt seem to be strict with COVID policies. There were bowlers in adjacent lanes to us rather than a lane between each, as expected. Also, our game was wrapping up around closing but they did not hesitate to shut all the lanes down rather than let us finish the games we paid for.

This place is horrible. The employees are extremely rude especially the manager and the bartender Elizabeth. Everything is way over priced and it is definitely a healthy risk inside. No one wears masks and the bathrooms are not sanitary and there is hand sanitizer in them. Just stay away from this place it’s awful.

I like the family atmosphere of the place however, this place is a complete wreck. Masks and social distancing are not required. Favoritism for a particular race was evident.

My kids love this place this is our 5th or 6th time having a party here!! 5 starts very fun and it’s open late for adults!

Overall a great experience. Erin was our waitress and she was GREAT....especially considering how many alleys she was waiting on by herself. She was fun and happy the entire time! Karen was great to work with in setting up our group reservation. The only thing I would suggest is to work on the food a bit....I have eaten there before and it was pretty good but the burger sliders we got were very bland and dry. The pizza was OK and the tater tots were good. Would definitely do this again as a little birthday gathering but probably order food of the regular menu instead of the catering menu.

This is quite the upgraded bowling alley. In addition to lanes, there are multiple arcade spaces, a restaurant, and a bar. The facility is spacious and clean with lots of colorful lighting. You can digitally control if you want bumpers and there are numerous ramps available to provide assistance for children or individuals with special needs. Spare Time also participates in Kids Bowl Free during the summer (must pay for shoe rental).

The plan was to take the kids to Frankies but they have suddenly stopped receiving children under 18 after 8pm. We landed at Spare Time and had a ball. The kids and the adults enjoyed themselves thoroughly. We played arcade games, bowled, and did the escape rooms. Theres something for everyone. Food and drinks are awesome!! And its cheaper than Frankies. Spare Time has 12 new fans! Frankie who?!

We had a work party here and it was awesome. Food was good. Bowling was tons of fun. Lots of activities to choose from including arcade, laser tag, and escape rooms. Bowling shoes were surprisingly comfortable and in good shape. Bar on site. Good place to spend an evening.

Wish I could give zero stars. Manager is rude, our drinks were horrible, and our lane kept breaking

This place has so much to do! Its a one stop shop. There are arcades, bowling, laser tag, escape room, virtual reality ride, and a bar. We brought our 3 kids and they all had a blast with so much to do. We will definitely make this a regular weekend blast

I went to this place specifically for some lunch. I was the only person in the eating area, helped myself to an open table but was ignored. The bartender/server was there, he saw me, as he looked at me multiple times, but he never greeted me, gave me a menu or came to assist me. I left after sitting there for 10 minutes. I will never go back if that type of treatment is tolerated.

Had my son’s 11th birthday party here. Everyone had a blast! The birthday hostess was sweet and attentive. The party was over and all the boys stayed probably an hour or so longer just having fun in the arcade. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a party there for their kids. They also serve alcohol so some of the parents had a good time as well.

They were prepared for Covid by distancing lanes and had carts of disinfectant standing by for patron use.

It was my first time visiting and I had a wonderful time. It appears to be very large and I like that theres a variety of restaurants and that we can take out for to our sections. Our waitress was very nice; Id look for her during my the next visit. Great job!

Love this place. Amazing atmosphere. Friday night musical bingo with prizes, no fee to play. This place has expanded with activities, it now has the arcade, the bowling alley, the escape rooms, and laser tag. Food and drinks are good. My all-time go to place to hang out whether its with adults or the kids. Everyday of the week they have different specials.

We had an amazing time. We really enjoyed the snacks and bowling. Even had some beautifully light reisling from the bar. Awesome place for children too. This was my husbands Christmas party and it was great. Well definitely go back soon.

Staff was very Friendly and polite. The place was very Clean and Spacious. Not over crowded. The Arcade was very fun. lots of Game choices. Bowling was fun for the kids. And Lazor tag was awesome! The Arcade is a little pricey averaging $1.25 per game and the ride on games were about $3-$5 per person. To me It would be better if they had a set price for unlimited games per hour. I could see my self coming back but only during special occasions. This is not a i just need to get my kids out the house and play on a Saturday type of place because it its so expensive. But i would definitely recommend this place for birthdays and events.

It is good for what it is. Its not necessary my style of entertainment. Bowling is good and the table service is middle of the road. They arent the best but they arent the worst hence the four-star rating. The food while bowling was not that bad. The game section for me at this point in my life is noisy and a sensory overload it should be avoided if you can get your kids out the door without going into it.

We went for my birthday and it was fun. Our balls got stuck and it took away some of our time, so the lady gave us an extra 15 minutes. My youngest daughter bowled a strike and surprised all of us.

Very nice facility, but very expensive. Imagine Chuck E Cheese meets night club. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes, one employee was helping another customer and 4 employees were standing around talking. Finally one of the talkers decided to do their job and helped us. As nice as the facility is, we probably wont go back.

I did a small group experience and they took care of our group! The laser tag was solid quality and the bowling was a great atmosphere. We will definitely come back if we are in this area again!

Wonderful for a group that includes children. The restaurant is comfortably located far enough away from the game room to not be a bother. After lunch / dinner, the game room is a a wonderland for the kids. I recommend the virtual reality ride atop the great wall of China. 5 stars! Fun for the children in all of us (unless youre afraid of heights) lol

If you are 5 years old and you go for the arcade, this place is awesome. If you are an adult and want to get a COLD beer, a HOT meal, and DECENT service then go somewhere else (uptown). We waited for 1hr and change for cold food. I ordered a sandwich and the bread was so soggy, I couldn’t even pick it up. I won’t be back.

Chicken wrap was grilled fresh and tasted great. Excellent service. Great tap selection. Wait times for the laser tag and vr ride were excessive. Game and bowling staff was friendly.

There were reconstructions or something going on and there were a lot of things affected because of it. The only food available was a light fare menu, which consisted of nachos, with guacamole for extra 399 a cup and some kind of taco sauce. Also I guess a turkey sandwich Maybe? The kids wanted pizza and wings because thats what they usually have. There was also a lot of drinks not available because the kitchen was closed. I feel that if so many things were not available, some price adjustments should have been in effect to make up for the inconvenience. Or at least post it so that a person was aware and could decide to stay and deal with it r go someplace else. Not good customer service that day. My kids were not happy with the food and drink choice but loved the games. Also, the soda machines were making drinks that tasted like seltzer and had to be changed twice.

Great night with friends. Food and drinks were fantastic ... and were all looking forward to the new menu for 2020!! This is a perfect place for dinner, drinks, watching a game or enjoying bowling / video games!

Took my wife there for her birthday...wasnt able to get a lane but that was my fault, didnt know I had to book first. We did the Escape Room which was awesome and the host was very friendly. Once finished we hit up the bar but thats when friendly service took a turn. Bartender was inattentive and not to friendly of our group. Not sure if it was because of it being NYE. But overall SpareTime is awesome despite certain staff.

All the bowling lanes were booked due to pre-reservations and the new years eve party (also a great deal - hope to do it next year). So they gave us $5 game cards to use.You can use the game card to play in the Arcade, Laser Tag or the Escape rooms. Absolutely loved that idea of using one card for all the options. Since we couldnt go bowling we gave the kids an additional $15 dollars - with the $20 we were able to play a game of laser tag (I won with the most points - like dominated! 5k points next closest was 2800), 2 rounds of Escape room (5 minute rounds for 5 dollars - 6 ppl - it was intense and fun) and couple games in the arcade.Escape room: Never seen 5 minute rooms before and they have 2 for $5/person/room. It was intense and a lot of fun - $10 well spent. They also have 2 other rooms for $25/person/room and they are an hour each.

The worst service I have received in a very long time. We will not return!

Came in for service industry night with my staff (Carrabbas) and my husbands (Bonefish). We had a wonderful time! Kristin was our bartender. (Sorry if I got the name wrong!!!) She was amazing, the managers were awesome and our staff had a very much deserved night of fun. This was my first time but it definitely wont be the last!

I’ve been here multiple times and christen, dale, Brandon and Cassidy are great! They are the best! Great customer service and they really try to make it the best for you! I would highly recommended the whole staff! Family friendly and very helpful!

We have enjoyed this place the two times we have visited with family and friends. Bowling was smooth, the arcade was fun and they offered us great pizza with salad. The arcade games were okay for preschoolers to use and have loads of fun on. We had a blast during the laser tag game. We would love to visit again.

Decent family place, we went with out our friends and families, we all really had a good time. Decent amount of arcade games with reasonable price.

I had never bowled 10 pin before so that was a new experience. A walk through on the different sizes of balls would have been nice but we figured it out. The arcade needs some maitenence though. Many of the games we played malfunctioned. Mainly the bird hop game kept freezing. Oh well Still had fun and a good experience either way!

I have been here multiple times and we have had a great time. This place is one of the best bowling alleys I have ever been to. The options with having the bumpers go up or down for each bowler and the set up for taking individual or group pictures is awesome. The arcade area is a bunch of fun with a variety of games from air hockey to many others. I recommend always checking to see if a Groupon is available to try and save a little bit of money so you can spend it in another part of this awesome place. Check it out you wont be disappointed.

The games seem to fluctuate in price depending on when you go. Went about a month and a half ago, and they were reasonable, then went 2 weeks ago and they were crazy. Theyre also very rigged to lose on weekends. Its a shame because the time before, wed fairly easily gotten a decent prize, which made our toddler quite happy, and makes us feel like youre getting your moneys worth, given how most games pretty much take your money with little fun involved.The bowling ally is nicely done, but getting a lane is often a HUGE challenge as they have far too many league times.

Really fun place to hang out with friends, only thing I dont like is that everything is kinda expensive, especially for reserving a table to bowl, not to mention the food has its own pricing and playing the arcade games as well as the laser tag

Worst restaurant ever. Here to enjoy some fun and food with friends for New Years Eve. No steak items on the menu at all. They are out of steak. Ok, I’ll have the salmon. Ten minutes later... we’re out of salmon too. No apologies from management. Our server was remorseful, but we will never be back.

Spare time advertises half price bowling & games on Wednesday night. Went to try and bowl and was told that every single lane was taken for a league on Wednesday’s. False advertising, why run a special that can’t even be used?

Went for my nephews birthday and had such an amazing time. We had Erin as our birthday person. She was amazing with the kids, shes so engaging. Even after we paid she still kept coming to check and make sure we didnt need or want anything else. Ask for Erin she will give you the best care

We had an awesome time! I really enjoyed the private space for a group bowling party and the food was delicious. Bbq chicken, slaw, Mac&Cheese and pizza.

Lots of fun stuff to do here… Bowling, arcade, laser tag, pool, and eating… Although, be sure to check the sanitation rating at the restaurant, because it was fairly low a few times I was there.

Such a fun place for adults and kids. Bowling alleys with comfortable seating, lots of eating space, and 2 large bars. The arcade games are flashy and fun with new HD editions, as well as old school Skee Ball. Prices are reasonable. Bowling is purchased by the lane not per person, so many kids can play on 1 lane. Arcade games are paid for by loading a swipe card with ss much or as little as you want. Party rooms available but dont know of those specifics as we did not utilize those.

Wow! $3.25 for a half water, half cranberry juice for a toddler. They try to take advantage of you any way they can apparently. I had to edit my original review to one star. They have been raising prices on their games in the past few months, doubling it in mm OST cases. They have taken away their bonuses on most games, and now you can hardly win any tickets on most games. They are ripping people off slowly, avoid if you can.

My girlfriend I typically come here to go play the video games that have available. Were trying to collect as many tickets as possible so that way we can buy the fire pit that they have there. this place has so many amazing different games that you can play and some of them already even multiple players so you can compete against friends and family. The employees are always super nice and its always a grand time spending there.

Spare Time Huntersville is a family friendly place. I like the exciting atmosphere! The staff is friendly, and theres a lot for the kiddies to do. That includes the big kid in you as well! However, it can get a bit crowed in your bay if one has a large party of five or more. I recommend reserving 2 lanes side by side. The only problem I had was the overcooked food that we ordered that we had to send back because it was cold! Our next order was cold and overcooked as well! Overall, great fun can be had with the game room area, bowling, laser tag, and a bar where you can watch sports, as well as the food area!

This is a really fun place. The waits can be a bit overwhelming at times. But theres plenty to do to keep entertained while waiting for a lane.

My kids enjoyed their time here. Pizza was described to me as being very bland so I wouldnt suggest that to anyone unless youre into that cardboard kinda thing. The games are overpriced for what you get but that was expected ($1 to $2 per play). Bowling was enjoyable for my kids. I was invited to a birthday party at this location and I would say that this was a good place for one as the environment is very loud and energetic.
