Fun for adult pick up games but beware because some people take it wayyy too serious
Club is awesome. There is good sporting atmosphere. Coaches are helpful.
This business has taken EVERY precaution related to the COVID-19 protocols. I feel very safe having my children there for summer camp. I am happy to have a safe place to take them where they can get some exercise and make some new friends.
Great place for play soccer.
Strikers has a good thing going for kids and parents to engage in and enclosed style soccer. The concept is great especially for kids just learning the game. There are 9 fields which have turf, walls, and nets surrounding each one. You are assigned a team and a time based on age group. Practice is once a week(weekday) for 1 hr and game once a week(Saturday). The operation has room for improvement but overall the experience has been good. The facility needs repairs but they run at capacity every evening from 530 - 1030pm. I would recommend this league for ages 4-7 years old.
This place is a great idea. I’ve never seen something like this outside of Charlotte. They make pickup soccer seamless and easy. You don’t have to compete with other team sports like lacrosse for field space. Just pay $6 and reserve a time. Can’t wait until their new Indian Trail location opens up
The staff are truly dedicated to developing kids soccer skills. There are quite a few options for childrens leagues based on age and skill level. The fields are all walled and much smaller than a standard soccer field. The advantage Ive found with this is it makes for a more focused environment for kids to learn fundamentals. We have also friends with quite a few other families over the past four years watching our kids play.Scheduling communication could be improved but overall the owners of the facility truly care about the well being and development of the kids.
Site is not maintained. Parking lot is not sufficient and basically mud, no gravel. Nowhere for spectators to enjoy the games, standing room only. Bathroom facilities nearly non existent.
Could use some upgrading of turf but overall decent place for recreational youth soccer and adult pickup games.
Great for kids.
So much fun...
A nice place to spend some time with freindsfields are well organized and always clean.
Nice place but no place to sit and view a game ! Have to stand the whole time. Dont know how someone that would be in a wheelchair could see a game because walls would block their site?
Great for kids/families! Owners have the biggest hearts! If I was to win the lottery I would so do an upgrade for these people.
Great place to play pickup, $6/hour. Good level of competition.
Love the organized pickup. Its usually quality ball. Definitely reccomend to all my friends
This was my daughters first experience with athletics and it was an absolutely great experience for her. Even as young as kindergarten the staff here are really good at encouraging kids, creating a fun atmosphere and still teaching solid soccer fundamentals. For any age group this is a great place to play.
I wasn’t sure about it. But my husband found the place through a Friendly coworker! . Moms love friendly Americans coworkers!!! . After online perfect enrollment I got the right time to get the kids and get the adress via Google Maps Helps!!! After that I was just fine and confident that It was the right way and the safe place for GUI’s “kickoff “ on sports here in America ️️
Well organized pick up soccer from 7:30 to 9:30 on weekdays!
Nice place, but they should charge extra for people renting the whole field. I never get a chance to play in the big field because someone decides to rent the whole field and no spots are left. Its supposed to be pick up soccer. Please discourage people renting whole big field. A lot of us like to play the big field.
Great and simple place to play soccer.
Great knowledge of the game and the kids have learned so much!
It good size filed if you want to play 6 vs 6..
Was recently at Strikers for grandkids match. Great facility. I was very impressed. Also had very good coach!
The fall clinic is very basic and the fields are really small. I’m sure there’s a purpose for the small fields also.
My brother had a great time with the other kids. The coaches were friendly and helpful.
DONT RENT FIELDS HERE. Had a family emergency and the staff accused me of lying and told me I will not be refunded. 48$ dollars down the drain. Very rude staff. Wouldn’t recommend reserving fields here to anyone.
Great place for a pick up game.
Signed up at the wrong field and they made me pay twice just to get the right field even tho I told them 12 hours in advance, then they open up my spot at the wrong field told me they’ll refund me if someone else got it. When I saw someone else got my spot I waited for my refund which never happen.. so they just made double the money .. sad because I go here a lot and the treatment I received was so poorly
First season over. Son loved his team and experiences.
Needs some work but its nice to have a practice field with turf
Very cool idea to get your kids into soccer.
Been here as a coach, player and parent for 8 years, and will keep coming back. great environment, and wonderful place for kids to learn soccer or adults to play.
Good fields
*Look Elsewhere * This place only cares about money. They dont respect you as a customer at all! They mistreated my family and me.When the season started, it was raining so badly that Strikers has to cancel practices and games. After the second cancellation, I contacted Strikers via Facebook messenger and asked for a refund. I let them know that we are new to soccer and to their Center and didnt know that the Spring session would be like this. They read the message and didnt respond. I had to let them know that you can see when someone reads the message on Messenger. They later responded and told me to call the center, but most likely I wouldnt get a refund. So I called Strikers and spoke to whoeverw was in charge. The conversation was going well until I mentioned a refund. As soon as I said we wanted a refund because we didnt want to play anymore due to the weather cancellations, I was hung up on. I called back several time and was hung up on. Then my calls just went to the voicemail. So I called from my husbands phone, and the same guy picked up. He then suggested that I emailed them about my issue. So I sent an email that same day. Two days later I received a response from Ross telling me that the season had been extended and they were having makeup practices on Sundays. He also stated that ” If everyone asked for a refund and Strikers gave it to them there wouldnt be a league. I emailed Ross back and reminded him that I had also asked if our to payment could go towards playing next season. I also informed him that due to our beliefs we can not attend practices on Sundays and also the makeup games cut into our scheduled vacation time. Therefore we wouldnt be able to attend because we previously madep plans basedb on when Soccer would end. Ross has yet to respond to my email, and no one will answer the phone at Strikers. Ive left two messages. Lets see if they return my calls.
All of my kids started their soccer careers here. The turf and walled fields make the game continuously moving and great for kids to learn quick movements. Recommend starting your young players here and move them to Carolina Rapids, CSA, LNSC, or AYSO 605 around 7-10 years old if you live on North side of Charlotte. Owners are not very responsive. But thats not why you would use their facilities. You come for your kids.
Strikers is an awesome facility with fantastic people. My 5 year old daughter started going there at the beginning of the summer, and she adores every minute of it! She always feels comfortable with all the staff, has improved her soccer skills tremendously and has a blast! Going to Strikers is the highlight of her day each and every time!
Great place for kids to play soccer!!
Ive been attending pick up games on and off since 2012. They have a great schedule open for pick up games from 7pm - 9pm. Each pick up game last an hour. They have nets so the ball wont fly out. They have one big field and 7 6v6 fields.
Been going here for over 8 years and progressively gets worse over the past 2 years. Bathrooms are nasty. Lucky if any paper towls to dry your hands. If there are any good luck to find dry ones, because no holder on the wall. So the paper towels wet from sitting on the sink. The refs are so bad and inconsistent from game to game. Tired of my kids getting hurt from being slammed into the walls and no penalty calls. More tackling goes on in these games than a football game. This is not a safe place for kids to play. This will be our last season for our kids to go here.
Both my son and I play here and its hands down the best soccer experience Ive ever had. Great staff, great programs, great fields and an overall top-notch place to come and play. Love the walls and the style of play that Strikers has to offer.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Different levels for different ages.
I fully recommend Strikers to the brand new soccer player through the experienced player. We have been very impressed with the staff and the level of competitiveness balanced with an understanding and teaching of the game.As to some of the negative comments, no one is going to hold your hand here and that may be in part to the Scottish owners that run Strikers. Overall, the owners are great people, very caring, and excellent minds of the game. The facility is designed for fast play with shorter fields, larger goals and although there are outdoor fields, there are indoor boards. Our son loves this place and thanks to Strikes, he has a passion for soccer and has improved his skills significantly under the Strikers coaching staff and competitive atmosphere that has molded him.Thank you Strikers Soccer!
I Brock my arm when i played. Let me sit out but din’t give me ice or anything. Nice field.
Best place to play soccer in Charlotte area and Ive tried a few places already. All you do is download the Activities app and you pay $6 to reserve one of their 9 turf fields, to play one hour of pick up soccer 6v6. You can reserve a spot for you and your friends, however in rare occasions someone will not show up. This happened to me three times and only twice I got reimbursed back my $6. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the first time I asked to get reimbursed the guy in the front counter was being rude. Either way I got my money back and will continue to play at strikers.
Needs improvement on small things like their bootleged bathroom but the fields are awesome
Best soccer place in the area. My son loves playing soccer here.
Great facility!
Negatives:* Parking difficulties - the overflow parking lot is not paved and ingress/egress is bumpy.* Filthy restrooms. Dirty. Smell putrid. Making little girls sit on those nasty toilets is cruel. Pay someone to clean your restrooms!* The fields for games are listed on a board in the main office. This requires everyone to walk across the parking lot (away from the fields), and enter the building to find out what field you are playing on. This further exacerbates a difficult parking situation. If you call and ask, you usually get snapped at: What?!? You cant walk in here and read the board?!? This is insulting when one parent is bringing their child to a game/practice, and they are toting other small children.* Everyone gets a trophy. Strikers offers many leagues throughout the year, which is nice, but I get tired of paying for a trophy for each season. Most kids come to realize after 1 or 2 seasons that this is unnecessary and they no longer enjoy it. Here you go, Goodwill!Positives:* Nice fields. The fields are walled in which helps create more live action. No watching kids/parents chase down balls that go out of play. More live action means more touches. Kids stay more focused, etc.* Nice families - Seeing the same families and children year after year helps to create a nice community feeling at Strikers. Its fun watching the kids grow in their development year after year.* Camps/schools - The center offers good schools and camps that are reasonably priced, and are well instructed. Again, those filthy restrooms come into play when you leave your kid at the center for 4 to 6 hours, though.
People complaining about parking and none sense, are you here to play soccer or whine about non-soccer related bull? Cause this place is the most fun and friendly soccer place I have ever been to. Every time its packed cause people love this place for a reason, SOCCER(FOOTBALL)! Experienced coaches and family oriented people, you will not find a better indoor/outdoor soccer hub in charlotte!
Been going here for about 5 years. Kids love it. The owners are wonderful.
Great place to introduce your kids to soccer and then continue to develop their as they get older
This place is literally someones backyard where they decided to make a soccer company. Not fun and would not recomend
Great place to play some soccer
Great place for the children to play soccer!
Been going here for years great place great service. not a better soccer place around
Good place to play football soccer
I play there twice a week. Good fields
The place is great to have fun playing but they need more security or cameras. They broke my window and stole my wallet.
Love this facility and the tournaments they hold here. Top notch.
Nice place to practice the best sport. Soccer
Absolutely terrible money making scheme going on here with Strikers and CSA . I do not recommend their leagues as they are merely glorified rec teams and you pay big time money and do not get what youre paying for so youre better off at REC! (Literally the same) Andrew never contacts you about your issues or concerns you have. My daughter was bullied, had complaints about the other parents and team Dynamics, my husband was assaulted by another parent on the team from his anger issues during games- and neither Andrew nor any CSA personnel answered any emails or returned my calls and thats simply because they obviously only care about the money! You sign a contract- so after its a done deal! What happens after they could careless about because they got your moolah! Also, our teams never entered Strikers tournaments (Bec the teams arent good) again glorified rec teams they website lures you with their details of how this is a benefit and its really done more harm then good. Please trust my advice! Im out well over $3000+ dollars and we ended up having to withdrawal from the team as it was that negative! And you dont get your money back! The uniforms cost is agregious cost me $800+ Im warning you just go to your rec league and maybe do some short clinics but dont join the competitive academy or join long term its a waste of money!
Most disorganized league Ive ever experienced dealing with. My child had to miss the first practice and never got call from the coach to get practice/game schedule. Called the center and got the run around. Definitely would not recommend this soccer league.
My son loves strikers.they helped him improve his game.
Awesome place to go play soccer for kids/adults .
First rate organization. Both kids having a great time. What a bargain!
Good fields and friendly staff. These are closed pitches (Futsol style).
Great facility with great ownership, lots of fun for the kids.
Really nice people, love the proximity of all the fields, good location.
Great place for kids to start out playing soccer.
They do a great job!!
Horrible coaches with low morale gor a rec team. When brought to owners attention, he laughed it off on more then one occasion.
What a great place for kids to play soccer. Wouldnt have it any other way!
Good place
Pleased... But could have better parking.
Great place! love the pick up games!
Great soccer field complex
Needs more shade for the fans
Just go and play (of course after online registration; 6 bucks)
