Surprised how dated this theater is in this tony mall.I think the business is ridiculously milking this location. Prices do not equal services expected.First...do not get seat E8 in theater 15. It is broken. Cushion is not connected and you will get hurt.We notified the security attendant because the person who cleaned the theater rooms couldnt have cared less. The seats are old school. How about for the $11 a ticket fee...you consider putting in some upgrades? Or doing some maintenance or cleaning the restrooms. ICK.Movie was supposed to start at 7:20 actual start time was 7:46. Some previews are to be expected and in fact we looked forward to seeing them. At this theater the previews started at 7:16. There were more than 4 commercials to movie preview. Just unacceptable. I think we watched more than 15 commercials before the movie started.
Good theatre always clean and upkept. As with any movie theatre now a days its expensive for food and drinks. Regal club helps
I went here to watch a movie with some friends over the weekend. I wanted to get a drink and candy at the concession stand. There was only one register open at the time and the line had 3 groups in front of me. I figured it would not take too long. There were 3-4 young men working at the counter. I was surprised at how long it took them to fetch popcorn and a drink for the first group. It was also puzzling why another register was not open when the line was growing. After waiting about 10 minutes, the man in line behind me asked if they could open another register as there were at least 2 workers just standing around not doing anything. One of the workers appeared to talk to a superior but no register was opened and they did not verbally respond to the mans request. The woman in front of me said it was her second time in line bc it took to long when she had been in line previously. It took about 15 minutes for me to finally get served. I have to say, its pretty frustrating when you pay such high prices for a movie you dont want to miss 15 minutes of it to get simple snacks. Its also frustrating considering the price of the snacks. I had never been to that theatre before I do not look forward to coming back given the terrible service. I think the staff needs better training in customer service and how to do their job efficiently. I would expect better from a business in Birkdale.
Convenient ticket purchasing through the Regal App and quick check in at the front. Very courteous staff and clean theater and bathrooms. The concessions are common and commonly priced but good menu options if you want a full snack.
Edit; Lowered stars to 1 after months of more and more issues; The good is that the service has consistently been solid and the theater looks very nice (on the outside).A couple of large detractors though; 1. The lack of staffing. We go pretty regularly and there is usually just one person manning the ticket booth out front (even on the weekends)- and that line crawls. We could buy online but that charges extra us for the convenience fee. The lack of staffing often carries over to the long concession lines as well. And garbage all over the place- in the theaters and even throughout the lobby. 2. And then there are the individual theaters within; they arent terrible, but with other Regal theaters upgrading their seats Id expect one located in Birkdale to be among the leaders, not lagging behind. Anyway, its a nice enough theater, but it has its flaws.*Update; I contacted Regal at the link the provided, explaining the ongoing issues with staffing and dirty bathrooms and theaters. I never heard back and nothing has changed. If anything, its gotten worse. Id probably lower it to 2 stars at this point.
Great movie, great location, great staff, nothing to complain about aside from the price.I had to sell youngest child just to take the wife and the oldest child to see a movie (with snacks & beverages.)BTW - The gave us the kid back and let us keep the movie...
Went to see Bad Boys for life and the attendant decided he didnt want to clean up the last few rows in the theater. There was popcorn on the ground, bags left on the seat and after we get past that and get ready to watch the movie the speaker on our side decides it doesnt want to work properly so we were hearing static throughout the movie. Total letdown.
Theres a level of satisfaction one expects when going to Birkdale Village.. and this movie theater doesnt meet it. Numerous occasions the slushie machine is out and when summoned to getting a soft drink, it took two different sodas for me to be sure that their CO2 was out. When told the manager, she said I know. So basically scamming people their hard earned money for gross, flat and syrupy beverages.
Great experience. Harriett was a great movie. Oscar worthy for sure. Most moving was the fact that it was shown that both black and white (AND MIXED) aided and supported the path to freedom that EVERYONE deserves to have.
Great theater, friendly staff, nice area. However, there are always long lines for tickets with very few registers opened. That’s the main reason I give it a 2/5. Very disappointing. It’s like they don’t even care to resolve problem which they’ve had for a while.
Always a good time with the family going to see many movies. Concessions are always the kicker at movies but we know that going in. Still give it a 4 star. Only reasons not getting the 5 is they make you set in assigned sitting.
Usually clean with good sound system and excellent picture quality. Loud sounds carry over from adjacent theaters. Dont understand the reserved seating. Whats the point of theres only about a dozen viewers? Last time I went there were only a few seats open but theyre only half full.
20+ minutes in line at concessions, twice. Hire more people please. Have a more visible management presence dedicated to moving people quickly. Quicker lines equal more sales which equal more revenue. All the draft beers and white wines sold out. Perfect reminder of why it’s better to just wait for Netflix, Redbox, and HBO releases at home.
Nice facility. Just wish they would staff better. Ive never seen such long lines at a movie theater before.
Gorgeous movie theater. A little bit behind on the inside but it really stands out on the outside. The concessions werent too expensive. The seats were alright. But the attitudes inside are what made the experience so good. Looking forward to coming here for more movies in the future!
If you do not go to the RPX showing, then most of the theaters are nothing special or are even small and cramped. Reserved seats are a neat idea, unless like our last visit, they didnt bother to clean up between movies. Yes, you can buy overpriced beer for your movie, but thats not enough of a draw. I think Ill drive further for my next outing.
Alway a good place for entertainment. Only thing is when i was ready to get some popcorn everyone left. So i yelled is there anyone who will help me? One young man showed up right away and took my order. Cool
Really nice theater. Kinda has that Redo-Modern Vibe. Staff is friendly and its the theater we go to when our closest Regal Theater does not have a movie we want to see. And any theater for that matter owned by Regal I would defiantly recommend.
The past two times that I’ve been here within the time span of a month the condescensions have been out of items like popcorn, select sodas, pretzels, heavily limited candy options, and more. There also weren’t people checking you in at the doors so that means you could just walk in and go see a movie without paying if you so desired. The staff could be seen sitting on their phones lounging in areas outside of theaters not looking professional. Not a great experience during the holidays and I will definitely choose other theaters before this one.
Theater was comfortable, stadium seating. You pick your seats when you buy the tickets. Only one ticket window open made purchasing Tix a bit slow. Three registers working the concession stand with about 12 or 15 people in each line. About a 7 min wait. Bathrooms were clean.
Tickets are average price, saved some money because anyone under 3 is free if they will be on your lap. The cinema is huge and pretty if you look up when you walk in, but the popcorn isnt great for how much you pay and microwave tastes better lol
This movie theater is disgusting. No management was seen anywhere and the workers were messing around and on the floor in the back when they needed to be sweeping the lobby. Popcorn and straw wrappers everywhere. No napkins in the dispenser. When walking out I noticed multiple empty beer bottles behind the counter where you order with the staff along with more trash. They also were talking about how they were almost out of popcorn. Will not be coming back. Will be sticking to the concord mills AMC theater where it’s clean and they have reclining seats.
I have been here twice in the last month. Terrible customer service from the staff. When I mentioned this to the manager he just shrugged his shoulders and didn’t say a word. There is trash everywhere in the theater. The popcorn was not fresh at all. Not worth the money and definitely not what you expect from a theater in Birkdale.
Out-dated. Understaffed. And understocked. Worth the drive to Concord or Northlake. The second star is only for the convenience of proximity.
Our visit was a little frustrating as I had taken my granddaughter to see Frozen 2. When we got to the theater on our ticket stub a different movies was showing. Could not find an employee to help us. Ended up hunting for the theater ourselves only to learn that our seat numbers did not exist in the new theater where Frozen was actually showing. After working with the asst manager, we finally were able to watch the movie. Thank heavens we had arrived very early. Interestingly no one was checking tickets when you entered....how do they even know you purchased a ticket to begin with???
Every time I come on the weekend, this place is under staffed and they are out of nearly everything. Its truly pathetic. They have 2/4 registers open at concession on a Saturday night, with wait times as long as 30 minutes. The theater itself is okay. Ripped seats but not terrible. Sneak your own food/drinks in. They dont have nearly the staff to detect/care about it.Owners obviously dont care to invest. Shame because such a nice location.
Great place. Wanna thank the management for quickly and politely fixing any problems.
Took my grandkids to the movies here the kids in the concession stand refused to take my order kept telling me to ask the other employees to take my order while they stood there laughing then finally one of them did she filled my popcorn and dropped it and started laughing with the other employees and said whoops do you want me to get yo some more or do you want me to sweep it up I take it the manager doesnt be there I just stood there in disbelief I ended up walking away letting them have my $14 dollars I was gonna address the issue but the concession stand was closed when I got out the movies what is going on here?? No more will regal theatre for me
Great area with lots of stores and restaurant. I visited this theater for a matinee showing of Aladdin on the RPX screen. While the theater seats were comfortable, the screen huge, and the sound great, there were drink spills that still had not been mopped up from the previous night. Couple that with the bathroom stalls out of tissue and paper towels, leads me to believe that attention to detail is not at the level it should be. The theaters should be cleaned and the bathrooms restocked prior to showing the first movie and throughout the day someone should be checking to make sure nothing needs cleaning or restocking.
Convenient location and friendly staff however two big knocks:1. Concession line is dreadful; no matter what time of day it is Ive waited at minimum 20 minutes, many times longer. Seriously--Im trying to give you my money...why are you making it so difficult???2. Parking is difficult. Weekends are nearly impossible to find a parking spot. They should consider some options to make this an easier process otherwise Im inclined to visit the Davidson movie theater or just stay home.
The movie theater is old and run down. It is in dire need of renovations. Seats are not comfortable and you can hear the sounds/noisrs from other movies that are playing...SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE. THERE ARE MUCH NICER THEATERS YOU CAN GO TO.
Old out dated theater. Go visit Concord Mills and see what you are missing. The concession are a total time drain. God help you if you order anything other than popcorn or candy. I have ordered pizza several times and there is no follow up! There is no spot to wait for pick up and no way to know when it’s ready. What a joke!! You have to wait back in line and ask if it’s ready. Copy AMC! They have a pick up location and actually have people monitoring the orders. What a concept. This placed is managed by morons.
Nice theatre. Never had any of the usual theatre problems like trash and sticky floors.
I have been going to this theater for the last 4 years and it has gone way down hill. The place was filthy, with incredibly slow service, and a hot, stuffy theater. 3 stars is actually generous.
Really nice theater. We went to see Frozen 2 weekend after opening. The theater was not completely full.
The seats are horrible. You cant lean back or put your feet up. It was so uncomfortable I was about to leave before the movie even started. The popcorn was ok. Cherry icey was out. Its a cute place but if your looking for comfort while you watch a movie. This isnt the place to go.
Good the only thing that I did not like was the seats they were not comfortable
I like Birkdale Village and Regal is my favorite theater so that worked well. Theaters are clean, concession stand folks are always busy but very courteous and helpful. Bathrooms are always clean.
It is a great place and is never packed but I wish they had a better mgmt in the concession department
It was well run and professional. The lines were not too long.
Sunday afternoon to see Frozen II. I wish I could post pictures. The floor behind the concessions was disgusting. Popcorn, drinks and trash all over the floor. Trash can in the bathrooms overflowing. The carpet in the lobby looked like it hasnt been vacuumed ever. Poor excuse for a nice movie theater.
Its about as average a theater you could ask for. Underpaid teenagers lazily underfilling your popcorn. Broken reclining seats. Nondescript grime coating the floor like flypaper. What you expect when you go to a movie theater: nothing more, probably something less.
This theater is poorly managed. It’s dirty, under staffed, the seats are uncomfortable, and anyone can walk in since there’s never anyone there checking tickets (huge safety risk). Further, they sell duplicate tickets. So much for reserved seats. I have experienced this issue twice. The first time I had to go home and come back the next day since my seats were taken and there were no available shows that evening. The second time I was interrupted first by the poor family that had duplicates tickets of our seats and then by the manager who came to verify my tickets. Oh and don’t bother complaining to the manager or sending correspondence. They don’t care!
Very expensive at $45 for a family of 3 with 1 kid for an afternoon showing. The facilities including the movie hall seats are worn down. We went here on Saturday Feb 15th of the new Sonic movie to avoid the craziness of Concord Mills but the AMC cineplex in Concord Mills has plush push back seats while this cineplex has worn down seats which was a downer considering the sky high ticket prices at $15 / adult for a matinee showing. The other issue is the concession facilities are very poorly managed. Long Q due to attendants being very slow and inefficient. Extremely slow moving as all the kids who are the concession stand attendants didn’t have a clue and had to call their manager for every transaction. Also with freezing weather the ticket counter is outside the complex with single attendant on a Saturday on a Presidents’ Day holiday weekend. Pretty frustrating and lackadaisical facilities for astronomical prices.
I dont visit this theatre often (its not local for me) but when I have visited, its been kept up well, the staff were polite and the theatres were comfortable.
All the latest box office hits. Friendly service
The lobby was littered with food and trash. The server waiting on us Kept sighing loudly. Did not smile at all. Our popcorn was stale. The theater was cramped and hot. We were sweating half way thru the movie. The floor in the theater was the same as the lobby. The experience was not what we have come to expect from regal as regal unlimited customers.I believe next time we will just go to another theater.
This place has really gone downhill. It is dirty, the floors have trash on them, the theaters arent cleaned properly before the next movie starts, the bathrooms are a mess, overflowing trash cans everywhere. We were in this past weekend and were first assigned broken seats, so had to go up to the front for a new assignment, and then were reassigned and that seat armrest had something awful smeared on it. Also, there was an insane amount of trash piled on the ground behind the line where food and drinks were being served. Very disappointing for such a nice neighborhood.
I may be extremely behind the times on this. But what happened to the flavored salt shakers? And the only way I can get salt for my popcorn is out of those little packets?
Seats are older. Staff is rude, disorganized, and untrained. Popcorn is always terrible. Pretzels are always stale. No clean up in theaters between movies. Something is being mismanaged.
The movie theater is good, but walking and eat around Birkdale I a big plus.
Lets begin with the extremely unpleasant girl at the ticket window, who mumbled and practically yelled at us when we couldnt understand her jibberish. Not yell in a way to be heard, but to be nasty and express her displeasure in having to be bothered with anyone. Once inside, my husband ordered a hotdog, along with a few other things. We were told itd be a few minutes for the hotdog, so my daughter and I went in to sit and I went back after a few minutes to get salt for my tasteless popcorn, where my husband was still waiting. As I was waiting for salt that the kid had to take from the popcorn machine because they dont have any self- serve options, my husband asked to cancel his order, and that mustve been too much for the girl wearing the caterpillars on her face as she gave some serious attitude and suggested my husband come back AFTER the movie to get his order! Of course he said that made no sense and she started using expletives as she turned around to get someoneto issue the refund. Even that was a big deal, with no apologies offered. If thats the caliber of people this theater wishes to employ, well gladly take our business elsewhere as we dont pay to receive abusive and subpar customer service! If I could give zero stars, I would. Shame on the management who hires such disrespectful and inconsiderate people!
Horrible experience! Ticket attendant was so rude and unfriendly. After dealing with her, I went to front counter to order food, I ordered a hotdog, they had fresh hotdogs and one attendant told another to make some as the ones on display were old, only she didnt feel like it and passed the task to another employee. After waiting 14 minutes, I went over and said I would just like to cancel the hotdog order, at which another attendant said You gotz to be kidin mez, you can go watch your moviz and come back and get the dog. I said why should I have to do that because you dont plan ahead for customers. She stormed back to the back room saying something I could not comprehend but I know was directed at me. STAY AWAY!!
I love this theater, and I get a discount on Tuesdays...Took 5 kids to see Abominable... Great movie!! Highly recommend this theater..
Dirty, dirty, dirty. Dont even get me started with the concession area having lines out the door and just 2 people working behind the counter. We went to see Frozen 2 and walked right in, nobody checked to see me electeonic tickets and I waited im concession line for 25 minutes.
Always good place to watch a movie...nice theater inside and out
Weve been to this theater a number of times, it is laid out very well and is in a great location in relation to shops, restaurants, bars, etc. That said, they seem understaffed and undertrained. We went on a Friday night to a 7:20 show, all hands should be on deck and ready to go, right?! Before the movie, the trashcans were overflowing in the lobby, bathrooms and at the exits of the movie theaters. Most of the stalls in the ladies room were out of toilet paper, paper towels and soap. The lines were surprisingly not long for concessions, however service was incredibly slow, the popcorn was stale and not even warm. The soda tasted watered down. Its a good location with potential to be a great venue but it needs to maintained, stocked, cleaned and the staff needs to be trained to be more efficient.
This theater is terrible. We could hear the movie next door better than our own. Also, the seats are so uncomfortable. They need to remodel to be competitive with surrounding theaters.
Everything was great, aside from the start time. Our movie was scheduled to begin at 11:00, and at 11:10, the screen was still dark. The film didnt begin until 11:30. I get previews, but there is no excuse for starting a movie 30 minutes past its advertised start time.
Great theater with a very cool exterior look. Our screen was smaller than I expected, but the overall experience was great. I dont care to visit this area often because it is so populated and the traffic is terrible, but this theater gives a reason to brave it all.
Overall good. Seats could be refurbished. Some theaters have terrible sound, and sound bleeds through from other adjoining theatres.
Great Theather for Seniors to take advantage of their discounted tickets on Tuesdays!Us Seniors appreciate them!Go to Regal at Birkdale on Tuesdays Seniors and see a movie at a discount!
Comfy seats, great visual, but it was a bit loud and it was hot.
Very unclean and uncomfortable theatre. Chairs don’t recline or move and the screens are like home theater size and the floors are very sticky and the place smells like pee. Untrained staff at ticket desk
Had to wait in line for tickets for 15 minutes and was late for the movie. However, did learn that Tuesday was half price for tickets and popcorn. Will be early next time.
Been here twice and Both times BATHROOMS FILTHY tampon bins ripped off walls on floor, paper towels sitting on sink soaking wet NOT in dispenser Trash ALL OVER FLOORS TOILET PAPER EVERYWHERE, some stalls have MISSING LATCH LOCKS so you have to hold the door shut, ARRIVED HALF HOUR TO 45 minute n BEFORE SHOW TIME AND MISSED BEGINNING OF MOVIE DUE TO SNACK LINES THAT TOOK A HALF HOUR TO GET TEN PEOPLE THROUGH, This place is PATHETIC!!!! It’s an embarrassment to Birkdale!!!!
While you do have reserved seats, thats where it stops. I failed to pay attention or missed the fact that the seats were not reclining at all...It offers stadium seating but definitely no bells and whistles. The arm rests do raise up to offer a little more space but these seats are not made for anyone bigger than average. It was my first visit and based on the area I expected it to be a little more up to date...
You can basically get in for free. No one checks your ticket, screen was tiny and it took 20 mins to get anything at the concessions. 5 possible open cash registers and only 3 of the 8 were open.. missed 10 mins of the movie.. watched frozen 1 day after it was released and no one was basically working!!! Will never go back again!!! Prefer AMC!!! All the employees couldn’t care less about quick customer service!! Y’all could have done better for a new release movie that you know will be a money maker hit!!!!
Good theater. Seating is nice. Kept clean, lobby isnt usually crowded. Food is expensive, but thats all theaters. Id definitely choose this one the next time I go to a movie.
Birkdale Regal has really gone downhill. We have been their 3x in 4 weeks. The lobby area is chaos. Long lines for buying a tkt via a person or electronicly, long lines at snack counter (waited 20 minutes and out of a lot of the snack choices) no person taking tkts or checking phones for puchased tkts (why bother buying them when you can just walk into any theater) overflowing garbage cans, dirty bathrooms with no toilet paper. Im sure the safety training is lacking and hope there is never an emergency there. Maybe mgmt doesnt care because its always crowded so as long as they are making money and customers keep showing up why should they make improvements. Next time we will drive a little further to have a better experience.
Worse theater I’ve been to. 20 mins to get tickets, then sold us the wrong show time, 8 mins to fix that. 1 person working concessions, after waiting 12 mins, left the line as shoe was already started
Never again!!! Filthy from the front to the back and the rest room was disgustingWe are here on Saturday night to see endgame. It’s busy and frankly there does not appear to be any leadership on sight. The teens are running the place. Nothing wrong with that but if you’re going to employ teenagers leadership bears the responsibility of mentoring and training themWe were in #15 and it just feels and smells dirty. The seats are old smelly fabric and it was difficult to sit in that place for 3 hours and enjoy the avenger movie
The Cinema is not a nice one. And its very dirty. Movie was good.
Theater was nice, but seats were awful. Havent been so uncomfortable at a theater in a very long time.
Awesome little village theater. Small screen, could use more elevated seating or more on an incline. Also went on Saturday prime time and heated foods were NOT being served for some reason. Big miss.
Very good movie theater. Very nice employees.
Good luck getting concessions... their process is painfully inefficient to watch. And the workers standing around doing nothing about it will make your head explode.
Its a shame this place is not what it use to be. The theaters are nothing to complain about and the location is great but unless you only want popcorn and a soda be prepared for them to be out of many items, even on popular days..like the weekend! More often than not thhe snack counter is always understaffed and those that are working behind the counter appear tired from long hours resulting in a lack of care in your experience. Come on guys you can do better than this.
I like this movie theatre. They showed me an regal app to save money. I just think they are somewhat overpriced. Some days I go they are in a rush with service and I then feel a little rushed. They have nice snack options like alcohol drinks which arent that highly priced. They also have pizza, pretzels and nachos in addition to popcorn and sodas. The theatre are quiet and well maintained. Nicely cleaned and nice staff.
I’ve been going to movie theatres for 47 years and this is the worst with knowing which auditorium to go into. I booked my tickets online and arrive at the theatre and no one greets you or checks your ticket, so come on in for free since no one checks you. There are no listings of which auditorium that your movie is playing, so give yourself 5 mins to find your auditorium since no one is available to help you. And they ran out of beer...well good beer as BL doesn’t constitute beer.I worked in a movie theatre as a teenager, this is the worst.
Good experience. Friendly staff. It is not a macro-cinema threater but we were a nice time there.
Nice place very relaxing and enjoy movie
I think the capability of the building has been eclipsed by the size of the audiences. The snack bar line is lengthy, but the people staffing it are attentive and speedy. The theater itself was good. Good sound, comfortable seating, and clear picture.Overall, good experience. Ill plan a little better for the snack line next time, but I will be back!
Every time I go here the lines for the concessions are crazy. Never enough staff. Other than that I mean its a movie theater. The seating isnt as great as some nicer places but its fine. Its just the lines. Ive been many times and heard many complaints. Heard a lot of customers actually getting angry with the staff because of the lines and service. Its not the kids working fault so Id never get angry at them but Something is off with the management of this place but they show movies and theyre close by. I typically attend concord mills or northlake unless Im too lazy to drive.
Who is doing the mixing for these movies??? Do you people even care? Sounds terrible; panned way too far to one side, hollow, no bass, and could hear all of the noise from the hallway. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Concord-Mills if you want to get a quality movie experience.
Worst theater experience ever. This was our first visit and will definitely be our last. Lets start with customer service shall we... when we arrived there was only one person dispensing tickets with a line of about 12 people. Thankfully we bought ours online... the first ticket kiosk we went to was broken, but the second worked fine. Next we moved to concessions... the kids behind the counter were more interested in conversing with themselves rather than serving the line of people waiting. When we finally were helped the girl had earbuds in both ears and never once acknowledged us.Then when we asked about hot dogs, they huffed and informed us they would have to made. So we asked about corn pup nuggets... we were then informed that they would take a while. So we opted for hot dogs for our 3 kids and bag of popcorn for ourselves. The hot dog buns were stale and the dogs were very tough, like they were microwaved or over cooked. The popcorn had no salt and when my husband went back to ask about the popcorns lack of flavor they informed him they were out of the oil they normally cook it in and handed him a cup of salt. When we looked for a manager no one was to be found. No matter, it wouldnt have made a difference. Probably kids running kids. Lesson learned for us. Be warned, pick an AMC instead.
Filthy theater, terrible service. We went to the Birkdale Regal for the first and last time. We are new to the area and heard good things about Birkdale so we decided to see a show at the Regal theater. The moment we walk into the overcrowded and trash filled lobby we hit 6 lines backed up to the doors waiting for popcorn. We waited in one of those lines for 32 min in order to get some snacks only to find out that they were out of all candy other then one. The e tickets do not tell you which screen to go to and the attendant sent us to the wrong screen. There is no information on the overhead signs leading you to the right screen room. Once we finally found our screen we walked into a room that had all trash cans overflowing to the point that trash was piling up on the floor. The seats were worse; the theater had not been cleaned from at least the last showing and probably further back than that based on the amount of trash. I had to move old cups from the cup holders in order to sit in our seats. The seats are also small and uncomfortable. The theater filled and the temperature rose to at least 80 degrees. With no airflow the theater stank. The AC would only cut on once every 30 min for about 30 sec. We were hot and uncomfortable the entire time. We are done with this theater and regals in general.
Don’t be fooled by the “Rpx” option they offer. It’s online reserve seating, surround sound and comfortable chairs for a smooth $16.50 matinee price? This theater has not realized that this luxurious option is already offered all over NC for half the price during day time hours. Extremely over priced.
From the lobby, to the bathrooms and even in the theaters it was absolutely disgusting! Looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a few days. Grossly understaffed
Worst Movie going experience. Ticket box gave us the wrong tickets. Gave us tickets to a movie already 30 mins in and not the one starting in 15 as was requested. Concession had the rudest and laziest employees. They openly complained about the customers and not wanting to work so we could all hear. One woman got my order wrong and sighed loudly like it was my fault! Asked if I wanted butter on my popcorn no less than 4 times and still forgot it. Was there Oct 13 around 2pm. Most likely will never return unless there is a change in employees
Relatively clean, extremely poorly organized.
This is one of our favorite theaters. They always have the latest movies, you can pick your seats online or at the box office and the seats are very comfortable. The added bonus is that you can purchase a glass of wine or beer to have while you watch the movie. They have an arcade as well as private party rooms for kids birthday parties.
We got in with our digital tickets right away but the the line for concessions was very long and very slow. The lobby was very hot while we waited. The person working the concessions got the job done but wont be winning any awards for friendliness. We choose a popular movie and the theater was full. The seats are old school seats which now feel very crowded after having been spoiled by Regals nicer theaters with large reclining seats. The line for the restroom was too long so I went elsewhere. Seems like this theater isnt staffed and equipped for capacity.
A lot of seats available for top movies when others dont but the seats are uncomfortable and make watching a movie here a bad experience. The seats do not recline. It is 2019 every movie theater has recliner seats. The screen is small compared to other movie theaters standard size. Dont recommend
Avengers End Game was awesome as expected. Ending was a bit sad. I mean, not exactly one half of the universe all dies at once kinda sad, but still sad. That aside, all in all it was a great experience!
You can get tix online and pick assigned seats which really helps with crowded show times.
Great local Movoe Theater, food options just a walk away. Theaters smaller than those of AMC but never a bad seat. Concessions recently lacked having anything working or made i.e (ice machine broke, hot dogs sold out, beer tapped out). Theater great for a movie fix and thats about it. Everything else is just a walk away.
