Good place to learn soccer.

My son has played with this league, spring and fall seasons, since 2013. We have a team that has stayed together and the boys have bonded so well. Until last year, we were happy with this Texas Heatwave.Last year we played another team who was allowed to intentionally injure our kids. They were 8 years old. The other team was instructed by their coaches to slide tackle, take dives, pinch when the referee wasnt looking, and shove our boys down. Not only when playing our team, but others as well, to the point that they had a reputation with the referees.One such game our 8 year old boys played against theirs, 4 of our players came out from injuries blatantly caused and directed by their coach. Nothing was done by the league. Myself and 2 other parents/coaches sent an email about the game, and an incident where my son was surrounded by the other teams coaches and yelled at, after the game. The league did nothing. They did not contact me. They did not apologize. They did not speak with the other team. Nothing. They were allowed to continue playing in a dangerous manner.This season, we played against them once more. They were so violent that one of their players ran directly over, far from the ball/play at the time, our (now) 9 year old goalie while he was on the ground leaving bruised cleat marks all over his knee. No card was given. And the coach advised him to continue playing like that. My son came off the field with red and purple pinch marks all over his side.The game continued on like this until our coach called the game over in the 3rd quarter to avoid our players sustaining any further injuries. Our coach and 4 other parents sent emails to the league. The only response we have yet to hear is they are looking into it... 4 days later. None of us have been contacted directly. They even received photos of the cleat marks on our players knee.Their blatant disregard for player safety is unsettling, as a parent. This is not what we teach our children. This is not how an organization should handle such issues.
