Great family friendly place. A wonderful environment with clean music and a dress code. Not very crowded on Thursday afternoon when we went for public skate.

It is an awesome place to skate. The floor is messed up though and it makes it kind of hard to skate. The staff is so sweet though! If you fall they will come skate to you and see if you are ok.

Did not like it. Good for little kids, not older kids or teenagers. Floor was too bumpy and the skates were too big. The skates had fit my feet but were too big and heavy. Not only that but the skates were gross as well. It was also too small and crowded.

Wonderful family-owned and family-operated business thats been around for decades! My daughter took skating lessons here and had such a wonderful warm experience, so kind and understanding and great teachers! They have different skating sessions and you can bring your own blades or quads or you can rent them. Prices are very reasonable in this day and age and they have a snack bar and small gift shop. Free wifi for the parents, but really, put your phone away and rent some skates for yourself, your kids will love the companionship! They also do speed-skating training and thats a blast to watch! Who knows, you may decide to relive the old days and make it a regular thing! Thank you Humble Family Skating Center!

We had my daughter’s 5th birthday party there yesterday. We had a great time. My daughter cannot stop talking about how much fun she had. The staff was helpful and our hosts were great.

Took my daughter here for her friends birthday party they had a great time and made new friends there there were other parties happening there too and they cleared everyone off for the parties to skate and dance it was great!

What a great addition to the Humble area. I havent gone in a long time but I still remember how much fun you can have there. The skating floor is clean and spacious. There is great music played constantly. Occassionally, there are competitions and games to win prizes. You can also have celebrations there! There is good food like pizza, cotton candy, nachos, popcorn, drinks, and chips. At the back, there is a small arcade.

Place is excellent in size and retro aspect of the old times. Amazing place to skate, just be careful when around crowded people. :) For beginners and pros alike, Its one place its fun to skate.

Here every Sunday I have my son. He loves it. I get some good reading time in!

Nice place. Brings back memories when I was a little boy in the fifth grade in Deer Park Texas. They had a roller rink at that time. However, the aircondition wasnt working too good. It was hot inside. Either than that. It was a nice place!

Fun place for those that like to skate. The kids have plenty of fun and they even have walkers for those that dont know how to skate. They keep it lively in there and keep the skaters motivated. They have an option to use skates or roller blades...whatever you choose. Dont forget your socks!

Me and the family came here for a birthday party. The place is in pretty decent shape and the skates werent in to bad of shape for rentals. We have been to several that dont have good upkeep so we will go back to this one.

Points for affordability and a clean building. However skates are extremely worn out and uncomfortable. It was also extremely hot inside the building even before we started skating.

I booked a party online and now no one will answer the phone to confirm and answer questions. I have been calling for a week. Very disappointed. I wanted a stress free party not to stress out all week with unanswered questions.

I love everything about the place but I took one star out due to the fact that the rink is quite small. On Saturday the usually have parties there with full of people and make it harder to skate around.Other than that everything is good and the restroom is clean.

It was okay, I guess. The floors didnt feel as smooth as I am use too. Also, the staff from front, to food to skate pickup were not friendly.

My friend and I came here just to see how it was and honestly was disappointed. Saw they been open for 40 years and it seems like they haven’t changed anything (definitely the floors). For the price of everything which is kinda outrageous you’d think stuff would be better and not so old. Rules are too strict too. Staff looks way too young other than like 2 people. One of them helped me and was very nice but 2 of them were rude. I’d look into Skate Champions Roller World if you want a better experience. Honestly killed our mood coming here.

It was nice. Went to a birthday party there. The rink was nice and the workers helped the kids. It got a little busier about 3:00 but before that the littles had a blast.

Terrible experience with rude staff and unhelpful manager who rolls her eyes at you instead of taking initiative to solve your problem. Chloe, an employee spoke to me with an attitude instead of nicely telling me that phones were not allowed in the skating rink and then cussed me out under her breath thinking that I did not hear her. There was also a bitter lady who gave me disgusted looks because her husband couldnt stop looking at me, and then proceeded to take pictures of me without my consent which is just straight up harassment. Completely ruined my night with family.

Had the worst experience today. We went to celebrate my daughters 8th Birthday. Initially we were headed to a different rink that allowed cakes without a booked party, but confused Humble Skate with the same policy when I changed venue. We arrived with my daughters cake and 7 of her friends to met with the utmost bigotry. It was evident in the tone and body language from Josh the Manager that we were welcome. He stated the policy with the utmost authority. He said if we didnt have a booked party, we couldnt bring our cake in. We said, No problem..How much does a party cost? Oh, were booked! I say, we dont need a table, we can simply sit at a booth and pay the party price because we all know its about money, right? Josh said he couldnt allo that because if he did everyone would be walking in with cake. I said the difference is we would pay you the cost of the party booking.. He would not budge. I said so you wont let us pay for booking to sit at a booth? No, I cant bend the rules for no amount of money. I reply how are you bending the rules if Im paying? The rhetoric between Diamond the foolish clerk, and Josh in handling my family today was so clear Ray Charles could see what was happening. Needless to say we will never go back. Like ever. I will be telling in and everyone I know to steer clear of Humble Skate. Fortunately, we have alternatives..Humble Skate is the Worst!

One of my familys fav places in the area. We just had my daughters 6 bday party there and the kids had the best time. Place is crowded but we made the best of it and its crowded for good reasons. Food is good too and the 2 hostesses we had did a great job. I also love that the owner is very supportive of schools. Weve had several Spirit Nights there to raise funds & theyre very accommodating.

Im only giving it a 2 star mainly bc the kids had fun. The customer service doesnt deserve even a 1 star.They do not give you a disclaimer on the rules when you buy their $5 training skate wheels. When I had bought 1, I was only asked for child age and that was it. Never once did the guy mention, that theres a number assigned and your bracelet number is assigned to that specific wheel. Now, Ive never been to a skating rank before and not am I from the area. My family and I were just visiting family and they suggested this place.Upon returning the wheel, the lady at the front had said we had the wrong wheel and argued over it. You made a mistake. You did this all wrong. Ok.1. The guy at the front did not say a disclaimer or whatever rule they had over the wheels.2. Arguing over it and rudely telling us were at fault blew my mind.3. Their tracking system is the reason why all this confusion and bs started.If they were writing down the name and the wheel #. They should cross back and scratch out each number. This way they catch the duplicate. Rather than saying, its your fault. They would have caught onto this before assigning a customer a wheel.

Fun! It can get crowded. My four year old and her cousins love this place. They play good music and they have skating races and games for the kids to play. They have a snack bar here and the prices are reasonable.

Really more like 3.5 stars. Heres why! The floors need refinishing. In know thats expensive so I get it. But gotta have great floors. The staff, the music and the. spacing was great! I came from outta town. They have ba adding you name board but only for people who have a party there. I wish they had one for people who came from out of state/country! Spectator fee.is too high. $2 is more fair. Better floors would give 4 stars. Sign your name board and floors would give 5.REALLY fun.

I was there early December and one of the STAFF members slammed into me and broke my wrist and now i have to get surgery please be careful if you go and also i could not charge them because they make you sign a contract releasing them from injuries that happen there

Weve taken our kids here a few times for parties. My son just had his bday party here a few weeks ago. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility itself is pretty dated and small. But, the kids love coming here. The skates could stand to be replaced as theyre very worn. Highly recommend this skating rink for parties. Its well priced and the staff will make it very easy for you.

We were there for a birthday party. The skating was fun for the kids. They apparently give out conflicting information, depending on who you talk to, regarding decorations. My son was told he could not bring his own decorations, but when we walked in there was a table with the exact decor his daughter had wanted. That mom said she was simply told to drop off the decorations the night before the party. The pizza was, quite simply, awful. The bathrooms are very small and have only one sink with a slow air dryer and no paper towel alternative. On the up side, the rink floor was in good condition and many different games were played. The people working there were friendly and helpful. A 10 kid party was about $200 and you bring the cake.

I went to this center to enjoy a family fun but that didn’t happen. This one old lady had so much racism in her, I couldn’t believe. Every which way my family went she had something to say that was so wrong only in her eyes. Ms.Lady you NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY FAMILY Going back. I guess some people will never change.....

This place is awesome, its kid friendly, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed this facility. Im super pregnant right now, so I was not able to skate. However the atmosphere was very inviting, the staff seemed to be very on top of things, and the music wasnt so loud that you cant hold a decent conversation. I live at least 30 miles from this place and was there for a church function, but Ill definitely be back.

I’m surprised that so many people said that the staff is friendly. The staff (front desk) was not friendly at all when I went, which was very disappointing & not at all what I was expecting. The young people helping kids on the rink were friendly, but that’s it.

Been here five times. First time when I was six. Then nine. Then twelve. Then fourteen. I am almost 20 years old. Came here, this place HAS NOT changed a thing in over a decade. It is gross. I swear a kid was a wearing the same skates I got years ago, because the snaps were twisted, just like Id done to them when I was nine. These people are giving your kids 20 year old skates, and theyre touching 20 year old rails/walls.But 3 stars, because nostalgia.

The people are awesome. It gets pretty crowded at party times....but thats to be expected. We have been having parties here for about 18 years. My kids love it here...even the older ones. Come with extra patience....lots of beginners flapping their arms

Horrible experience for my first visit. Rude staff starting from the bossy boss to the other employees. The place is old and run down with a bad odor. Be sure to get a receipt on everything even for the deposit for renting the walkers (skating assistance). Otherwise, they would say you didnt pay. I needed three walkers and they only had two available at the time. So they said it would be $30. They told me to come back for the other one later. So I handed her $30. When my sister came for the third one, they said I only paid $20. When I came up there, the boss gave me attitude right off the back and said I handed her $20. Then another staff jumped in and agreed with her. I was like fine whatever. I was fine with losing $10 but not about their bad attitudes and poor customer service. I should have insisted that they review their security cameras because its about the principle. Also they will have you sign in for the waiver for liability, but you dont ever see the waiver statement. In addition, once you pay and decide not to skate, no refund but only a free pass for next time. Why would I need a free pass if I aint coming back to this place?!? Wont be coming back ever! They are all about taking money! I really let my guard down in this instance because I always will ask for a receipt, pay with credit card, and ask about what the hell I am signing and read everything, but its hard to be very thorough when you have young kids.
