The Green Oaks Tavern is a hidden gem in Humble, TX. Its a great room to watch and enjoy primarily blues bands, north of Houston. Its a small, intimate setting that brings in national acts. Well worth the visit.

This place is a gem!Great live music, .. excellent service, .. friendly crowd of people. Quaint music venue ... One thing to remember, .. the do not serve food!Theres the Humble Cafe across the street, but no food here!

Living in Humble for 4 Years, I am disappointed I havent learned about this place sooner. First impressions was a nice cozy bar, nice decor and atmosphere. TVs with sports games on, a library room when you want to have quiet conversations during live music. And then the live music selection was out of this world. Acoustics were great, sound system clear and no feedback. The owners definitely deeply care about the customers, bar, and live music selection. Excellent selection of spirits, and higher end whiskey. Perfect for sipping. Bartenders are friendly, and have been working at the establishment for over 15 years. Crowd is friendly, older crowd, but still younger bar goers in 30s will still appreciate this bar. Definitely will be back.

Cant speak highly enough about The Green Oaks Tavern. Its seriously the Best Little Blues Bar in Houston Friendly staff, Live music never disappoints, The acoustics are perfect! Great price on drinks, and its always a surprise on who might make a guest appearance on the mic. I took my parents there one night to see John Del Toro Richardson play and to our great surprise Diunna Greenleaf made a guest appearance! We had a fantastic time! Steve and Debbie Rock! We are having fun here with my friends birthday night out. We enjoyed the time when we are here. Love this music bar. We had so good drinks as well. This place the best we ever had for our girls night out. Well done customer service.

Green Oak Tavern is a great place for up close live music. There is not a bad seat in the house. If you love music it makes for a great date night. There is no food but the drink prices are very reasonable.

We came here for the first time tonight and had A BLAST! The martinis are spot on, Chrissy and Angie were awesome and the musical entertainment was great too. We will be back ANYTIME we can ditch the kids. This is our new spot for martinais from now on (new inside joke, because I was so far gone and couldnt spell anymore). Thanks!!

Fantastic gem in Humble. Some places are just magical. The Green Oaks Tavern is one of them. They made a homesick traveler feel back at home.

My wife and I went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The place was cozy and relaxing. The owner and staff were very friendly, making our night one to remember. The thing that really caught us off guard was that a few patrons heard it was our anniversary, and made a point to come over and wish us well. Live music, friendly staff, relaxing environment... we will definitely be coming back. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing night.

I was invited by a friend to Thursday open mice night. The tavern was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is very authentic and nice, staff and owners are lovely people. Music was an great as well. I know I will be back.

Great live blues music

Beware this establishment it does not support the United States Veterans and displays racism. We were there with a few friends who are retired military, supporting a local band. The band acknowledged our Vets and gave them a very nice salute. Soon after the manager asked us to leave for no reason. His sense of entitlement and his freedom was given to him by our military family. We will never visit this horrible place again and suggest that you do not either. Support our Veterans and boycott this horrible establishment.

Had a blast there last night was my first time in on open mic night just awesome! The wife and I love it!

Great Little Pub with Friendly Staff. Smoking is allow which is a downside but the atomsphere is good. The Beer collection is decent. Tuesdays is two dollar drafts all night. Good place to meet up for a few.

I mean. Live music, extremely good drink deals, friendly people, and small town vibe outside what more could you ask for in a tavern? My first visit and this will be new watering hole.

I dont go the concerts anymore I get all the live music I need at Green Oaks.Great cocktails and beer choices.

This is a magnificent establishment right in downtown Humble. Everyone from the owners, to the staff, and guests are so friendly and fun. They have live music every night- top notch musicians that have you grooving while sipping.

Good Live Local Talent, and Best Martinis in Humble, Texas!

I absolutely love this place, my husband and I have been coming to them for quite some time. The live music is absolutely wonderful, and the band is extremely talented and well versed. The 2 bartenders are amazing and they are very good at remembering you. By far the best apple tini I have had, and Ive been all over Houston and Ive paid, well over 25 dollars for a apple tini and the bartenders here by far, have beat everyone that Ive been to in Houston. This is a very underrated bar, it is one of those local gems.

Its located in the old city jail in Humble. As always, the drinks are great and the people are nice.

Nice little place for a drink or with a date. I was invited by a buddy to check out a local band.The music was not so loud so the you could carry on a conversation. They have wheelchair access and no smoking inside the tavern, smoking areas outside.

The Green Oaks Tavern was a really pleasant surprise. It was a small place with seating. If you want to seat you must get there early. They have a calendar in there seems to be lots of music happening at this location.

Classy, relaxing, friendly, they have karaoke nights and a band at times, bartender has been a long term employee there and is great with everyone. The drink I was suggested based off what I described I like and didnt was excellently. Good job:) People are also friendly. You just need to visit and see for yourself. Youll be back:)
