Great service (even during the packer Game) the Bloody was good (you get your choice of Vodkas)And the BBQ PORK NACHOS were even better!

These burgers are so delicious you’ll die of happiness. The side salad was a fresh meal of their own. The pulled pork nachos were shared between four. They were amazing. The service was very good, the build your own burger was Easy and yummy and the sweet potato fries are the least greasy crunchiest sweet potato fries ever. The bar is pretty, the drinks alcoholic, the ambience easy. And we came here for the pool and games and haven’t even tried that yet.

Wow. got to enjoy this once again for one more try this year and very pleased to say looking forward to next summer. fantastic beer. fantastic food. fantastic atmosphere. Open air makes this place work in our times.

Fun atmosphere with pinball and other modern gaming systems to play. A lot of TVs, free popcorn, and the food was really good! Did the build your own burger with a turkey patty. One of the best Ive had! Only suggestion would be to have a thicker slab of cheese on it. I could hardly tell it was on the burger. Otherwise, so good. Service was alright, needs improvement. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Update: the food was not redeeming and the BOH messed up the order. Upcharged for side subs that were ignored.The service was so bad. Had an order placed for a 5pm pickup thru Doordash. When I got there 5 mins late, the place was straight up packed. Every table full. Bar full. Customers standing around in walking space and between tables. No masks to be seen on any of the foot traffic coming in and out of the building, not even employees were wearing masks.So eventually I get pointed to the bar to pick up my order where, when asked if my togo order was close to being done, the bartender gestured wildly and said Its not done yet, so... So I go back out to my car and wait for another 10 minutes.When I came back in and checked up, I got another sarcastic response saying Well if you dont see it on the bar its not here. Eventually, with the help of another bartender, the staff realized that their online ordering device hadnt even been turned on.After a total of an hour and a half of waiting for two burgers, I finally walked out of there with a meal.@HudsonTap needs to improve their togo system-- your employees were running around without a clue what was going on. There is not any designated area for you to wait for your food. The only free floor space puts you square in the middle of FOH traffic, customer traffic, and bathroom traffic. The disorganization is almost impressive.Normally I dont feel compelled to write negative reviews, but what really tipped me over the edge was the complete disregard for covid guidelines set by not just the feds but by your own state government. Unbelievable. This alone is reason enough to get food somewhere else during the pandemic.

Had a great experience here over the weekend while in town for youth hockey. Staff was awesome and made us feel welcome. Food was great and all the games for the kids were perfect. Located in a great spot by the river! Don’t pass this place up.

Amazing food, kinda spendy for bar food but it makes it up for the amazing quality of the food. Drinks are fair price. The staff are always happy and in a good mood. The owner is super friendly and will sit down and have a drink with you.

Very crowded, but is to be expected because Wisconsin is the only state around that has open bars but it was pretty family friendly and had arcade games.

Hudson Tap is a fine spot to meet for a drink/apps before eating at another great restaurant in the Hudson area. Great drink selections at a good price. Great entertainment with many bar games to choose from. However, the food is just ok.

Best place to hang out, enjoy a libation, and my personal favorites: chicken tenders and the pretzels!

Im glad another burger place opened in Hudson. BYOB is a fun way to make your big boy unique. Pile on those toppings gang, its about to get thick.

Good selection of beer, food was pretty enjoyable. Old pinball machines and video games available to play, TVs on every wall showing baseball, basketball, hockey, football, golf and even bowling but NO NASCAR on a Sunday afternoon?!!!

This bar is clean and well kept. The staff are all top notch and super helpful. I am not 21 anymore and not 50 either so i didnt really fit in with the crowd. Took two stars for personal biases only. I at least recommend stopping in to see if its your kind of place.

My friends and I love coming here on the weekends to play pool. It seems like a lot of places have been getting rid of their pool tables lately, were happy to have a hangout spot. :) The staff are always nice and the drinks are a good value too. The only thing weve been consistently annoyed by is the music. The DJ, Bill, is a super great guy and we dont fault him at all. He took the time to explain to us that he has a list of certain songs he has to stick to. Turns out the list is VERY limited. We dont request anything vulgar, its just that none of our requests are ever on the list (its happened a few nights). The Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift they always play gets old really fast. Its a fun place! The music range just needs to be expanded and updated.

We had a family birthday party there. The service was great. We did let them know a large group was coming. Everyone commented on the good food. The large pretzel was amazing! All the kids enjoyed the games, ages 5-21.

Cute, kind of scrawny, tatted bartenders when I went there. Gambling machines, some arcade games, pool tables too. Would have given 5 stars, but I didnt get prompt service even though the place was not busy and there was plenty of staff.

Stopped in here for the first time tonight. Im a big fan of the option to build your own burger. Id recommend getting the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream.We didnt play any of the games, but theres a decent selection available for those who want to play.A very good selection of tap beers. Id argue maybe the best beer selection in Hudson.Well definitely be back to try some of the other options on the menu (although Ill probably be inclined to try more burger combinations).

Hudson Tap is a pretty cool bar and grill. To me it is more grill then it is bar. Food is fast and fresh, with very friendly staff. Bartenders have been a bit hit or miss though.They have pool tables and darts, as well as some arcade style games..Good place to grab dinner and a drink and then start your night out on the town.

Came in before it was busy. Had a great time playing video games with my daughter playing and munching on apps. Will be comong back for sure.

Great place for the family. A little bit of a wait because it is one of the places up close to the cities during covid but was well worth it.

The Hudson Tap has it all-- an arcade, pool table, darts, tons of TVs tuned into popular channels, music, and a full menu. The space is kind of a family-friendly version of Cowboy Jacks-- it has an everyone welcome here vibe. So be advised: everyone is here. There are kids sports teams (or hangers-on from those events) and people watching sports and people who want to get wild and people who want to play arcade games and...so on. If thats your jam, head in! All the stuff is there for a good time! For us it didnt work. We couldnt find a table for four, so we sat at the bar while we got drinks. Even when two stood up and two sat, we couldnt chat because the music was so loud and we couldnt dance or play the games because there wasnt enough room, especially with kids running around all over the place (even though we were there after 10:00 on a Saturday night). So we had one drink and moved on so we could either party or hang out.

Skinny dark hair, tatted arms bartender is toxic to your bar! Never smiles, bad attitude and ungrateful, rude!!! People like her should be moved out of this place, where people are going to have fun!

Loved it! Went on Saturday afternoon w the kids and hubby. Food came out super quick, staff friendly and attentive, and the games around the place were a great hit for all ages. Specials on a weekend were a nice plus as well! The whole family is excited to go back again.

Our night could have been better at Hudson tap. We got seated in a booth that was large enough for 5 that was by the garage door that goes up and down depending on the weather. November it was freezing cold I wore my gloves. Finally we just took high top tables and got our food. I got charged for onions and tomatoes and sour cream that was supposed to be on our burgers and our chili there was an extra charge our server didnt give us much attention on our table sorry I couldnt make more of a part positive review

Matt and staff provide an excellent service here. Hudson Tap is a great addition to downtown for both families with kids looking to play some games and adults looking to grab a drink with friends. Burgers are fantastic!

Cool atmosphere with the gamin machines and such. Good mix of families and younger crowds. Cheese curds were the freaking bomb. I got the sunrise burger and it was okay. Waitress was good, the food runner was great!

1st time in. Like the concept, great place to watch sports. Beer selection was decent. Male bartender was friendly. Female bartender not at all. We left thinking that she really didnt want to be there, which in turn made us not want to be there. With so many great places to go in Hudson, not sure we will be back.

Was fun playing a few games after dinner. Beer selection is nice the server was able to help make a recommendation based on a few taste questions which was helpful. Some servers dont take the time to learn about the beers and it shows so Im glad that he did especially in a TAP restaurant. Was a bit cramped trying to walk through the place and see the games when it was busy but I suppose that just means business is good!

Lots of things to do and have never had to request a sporting event to be put on because it already is when I walk through the door. Quick and friendly service. Wish they had a good Root beer on tap.

Food was pretty good. Coating on fried pickles was nice light and crunchy, the Minnesota dry rub was peppery and flavorful, the pizza was good but a little light on toppings. The smiles from the hostess were missing and the server seemed clearly distracted - forgot waters, the beer mugs were dripping with no coasters, silverware, plates and napkins; plus it was a light crowd.

Some dork named Lupaca spent thousands of dollars to get all the high scores on the video games. Good beer though.

Fun place for a happy hour. We were there pretty early on a Friday, they had happy hour already going at 3pm. It was still the calm before the storm of a Friday evening. They have a bunch of fun arcade games and pretty tasty food. I will be back to learn more.

Hudson Tap is run by the best owner/manager in town! If you haven’t already gotten to know Matt, then stop by Hudson Tap to see him work his magic! He really cares about his customers, and wants everyone in the joint to have an enjoyable time. He puts out great food, in a fun environment, surrounded by nice people. What more could you want?

(1-2-2010 update)Having games and stuff is pretty cool. Enjoyed the Mario Cart (no longer there). The drinks were reasonably priced but the music was painfully loud. I get it. Its a Friday night but still.... It physically hurt my ears. Left without finishing my drink because of it which was pretty disappointing. Not trying to get hearing damage at 22.... My voice hurt from yelling over the music and I barely talked the whole time I was there. Didnt get a chance to try the food, but maybe another time. (Tried the food. It was exactly what youd expect. If youre looking for good food specifically, Id opt for basically anywhere else dt Hudson. The point of this place is to spend all your money on games.)

The AC was dripping on us the whole time. The waiting staff was great and moved us to a table that only had water dripping on one person. The food was great but they forgot a few toppings on our burger. They were really busy so it was understandable. I was dissapointed but I would definitely go back

Good atmosphere, poor customer service.We were first on the wait list and a prime booth came open near the window, the head hostess then sat someone who had just walked in the door. When we asked the other hostess what was going on, she said they had more people so they sat them first, which makes zero sense.When the head hostess came back and was talking to the other one, I watched it unfold as she realized what had happened, this was the opportunity to fix the mistake.....she did absolutely nothing to address our experience, no apology, no drink while we waited for another 15 minutes, nothing.I will never return to this place and you shouldn’t bother either.

One of the best restaurants Ive been in. It has a ton of games for kids as well as a ton of more adult based games such as pool and gambling games. They have really nice decor and new renovation from previous businesses residing in the location.it has a very innovative front window as well as the create your own Burger menu being a possibly hand-written option is really modern. If there was one place to stop and Hudson besides agave, it would be the Hudson tap.

Ive tried going here twice now but refuse to wait over an hour when there are a dozen other places in town that are awesome. The problem I have with the place is literally half of the floor space is a damn arcade! What the hell are they thinking??? The 2 times Ive gone in here, tables full, bars full, but no one playing stupid arcade games. Id love to try the food, but until they figure out what they want to be, I doubt Ill go back.

Hudson Tap is a fun addition to downtown Hudson bar scene. They have a great amount of TVs for watching and a good selection of games. Since Pudges is gone this is now a great place for playing pool.We came here because Agave Kitchen was too busy and we did not want to wait to eat. I ordered the create your own burger and it was AWESOME. The burgers were juicy and tasty and I love choosing my own toppings. The waffle fries with sour cream were an awesome side.Great food and good service we look forward to going back.

I have been to Hudson Tap on multiple occasions both for the bar and games and for the restaurant experience. Every time I have been there I have had nothing but good customer experience, well made drinks, yummy food and a fun time playing the many games. I would just like to note that they dont have a great setup for large groups that want to sit together. I got there early to put my name in since we had a table of 14 and I knew it would take some time. They originally told me 30-45 minutes because there are only 2 tables that would be able to fit us together. Unfortunately the two tables took their time and it took almost an hour and a half to get one table and a booth nearby. But it was nice to be able to play games while we waited. I definitely plan to go back!

Yes the use of canned/jared jalapenos warrant a three star rating. To think otherwise is to participate in malfeasance.

Went on Saturday afternoon with my husband. The place was steady. We were sat right away but werent given any menus or silverware. After 7 minutes a server came rushing by and said ill be right with you. A couple minutes later he came by again and as he walked by put napkins on our table and went to the one behind us (who were seated after us) to take their drink and food order (lucky them they got menus to look at while they waited for their server). Then he came to ask us what we wanted to drink. Well without a food/drink menu we couldnt say. So he gave us the other tables menus and we took a look. He grabbed us some water and by the time he was back (another 5 minutes or more) we knew what we wanted for food and drink. The food was great. We ended up getting a app (smothered waffle fries) and pizza (combo). The app came out quick and the pizza followed. The food was great-with lots of toppings on the pizza. Beers took awhile to come. We had to ask for silverware once the app was out. Saving grace was that both the Twins game and the Brewers game were on-so we could talk and watch the games. Though, I wasnt a fan of all the pinball and arcade games (just not my style). I am sure they are a bit hit with families with preteen-teenage kids. Id like to give them more stars but the service wasnt great.
