A special place. Worth spending a day touring the historic homestead, strolling the grounds and active produce gardens, and then exploring the farmstead outbuildings - which include a restored wagon shed, corn crib, and VERY large 3-story bank barn (open restoration ongoing). During your visit, you can learn about the Underground Railroad in the region and also see, first hand, how the historical restoration, adaptive re-use and architectural preservation processes work.
