I went here this past Sunday Oct 11. Worst experience of my life. I was sober when i got here but somehow ended up drugged by the time I left. I have no recollection of being here or even leaving here. The only thing i remember was getting there and ordering a drink from the bar. After that I woke up in a strange neighborhood somewhere, beaten very badly with no phone or wallet. I didnt know what time it was or where i was at. I couldnt walk because my foot was broken and I had marks all over my body from where I was stomped out and road rash which the doctors say may have come from being thrown out of a car. I had no choice but to walk for miles injured and badly beaten. When I finally made it home hours later and after walking and riding metro buses to get to my truck in the heights, I checked my timeline on google maps. It said i had been at SET from 12:00- 2:24 am but I have no memory of being there or leaving whatsoever. I didnt get home until 10 am Monday morning. I went home to get cleaned up then spent the entire day and night in the hospital. After taking a urine sample the test showed i had GHB, MDMA, cocaine and amphetamines in my system. It is now Thursday and I still cant walk and I still cant remember anything from that night. People I urge you to please stay away from here and please stay alert and aware of your surroundings. I dont want this to happen to anyone else!!

I’ve been here twice ever since I moved to Houston and let’s say I really like coming here. I booked a section on my birthday through our promoter Freddy H. & to be short, he is awesome! I’d definitely book another with him. I used to promote myself and SET is a place to be when you want to TURN UP!!!! The bottle girls are sexy, there’s always a special guest that’s exciting, & they offer great drinks by nice bartenders as well! Edgar Santos is one of the best bartenders there! Sticky Promo is who I’d go party with when I need some fun with friends! It could get a little wild in there, but you have to live life to the fullest! For those who never been here or don’t know, some nights it’s is 18+ like on Fridays and some nights is only 21+. They don’t charge before 10:30 pm for entry! & They also have hookah here as well. I’d go here again!

This place was trash, and I mean trash, was visiting and a local recommended this place. Went on a Saturday. Crowd was 18-25. Dress code was non- existent. Definitely not for the urban professional. I have been to clubs all over the Vegas, ATL, Mia, and this place was the absolute worst. Literally PAID walked in and didnt even stay for 2 minutes and walked back out, just garbage. Manager Victor tried to accommodate us by giving us drinks at the bar, we refused drinks and still left, waste of money! NO REFUNDS! No customer service. I rarely give 1 star reviews but I could find not one thing positive about this place. Oh and the smoking, place was filled and I mean FILLED with smoke to the point it looked like fog. My two cents if your older than 26 just avoid. Someone said in another review latin women are the best on Saturday. Yea no, Ive been around some beautiful latin ppl and this past Saturday that was not what I saw, definitely not the baddest, not even close to average. Bottle girls a different story but definitely not a club with beautiful looking ppl. I give credit where credit it due, this place deserves none. Try at your own risk.....

I went with my family to try it out and We paid for valet parking tonight & left our purse inside the car & when we got home the purse was gone along with all of our personal things were gone. Totally not worth all the money we spent to get in here for that horrible service they provide!

Now, it was told Set was owned by the Miami Set Nightclub, so for NYE I was all in to go.When I was at Set in Miami it was classy, grown, and sexy. No youngins, great bar staff, and 5 star service.This was not happening here. Eventbrite completely gave a false impression of a high class establishment. The dress code wasnt enforced, lines around the corner (2 hours in line for NYE) with people making you uncomfortable with their attitudes, etc.. 2 hours for NYE? Prime clubs have tickets sales on NYE for a reason! Standards! It keeps the folks away that actually cant afford to be out. They be home saving up for the new year.Thats just the facts. Folks that overextend themselves get stressed and act out. Its just the facts.They promoted like they were going to be a primer Nightclub for our area. Travis St. investors are not going to allow this type of crowd near this community.I came in the establishment and walk right by out after I slip my drink watching a young lady get put in a headlock by some guy security had to get.Dont promote your establishment as a prime spot. Alley Cat has more chill and dosent promote BS.NYE may have gotten cash for Set but gave it a bad name right off the bat with the locals here. Were not having it.Im just saying Set it was a really bad look for NYE and were talking about it. Do better. We all know you can. Be Classy! Be what you said you would be. Well come and support your business if you do.

I’ve been to set once and I loved it. It was so fun but it could have possibly been because of the people I went out with. The bathrooms were so clean and beautifully decorated. The club in general was clean. I didn’t really care much for the hookah which was $30 because it wasn’t that good. We got in for free because we were put on a list and to park was $20. There were alot of Hispanics which was cool but diversity is key at any club. The music didn’t get good until closing time. I enjoyed myself and will go back again.

Security is over bearing. Escalated situations that weren’t a big deal and put people in handcuffs that were trying to be responsible. Go here at your own risk.

If it wasnt for my boy Stone the DJ here on Sunday my ass would stay home. Parking is a struggle and quite expensive for a club so small. I always have a great time and the restrooms are clean. Bathroom attendants are always cool to chop it up with. The hookah is a good touch and the drinks are priced really well.

Yoooo what happened to this club!? it was so lit in 2017. its no dance floor. nothing but kids and lame people. brooo sticky what happpened!? maybe your time has passed...maybe you should let someone else take over...

THEY DO NOT TAKE CARD!!! Bring cash they have an ATM but they charge you $5.00 per transaction. $20 for entry on a Thursday. Hookah $30 dollars They have valet parking just park for free on a street a couple blocks away. Drinks are overpriced pregame save your money. Not a dancing club really more of a standing around and smoking hookah just do your research and find a better place.

I have been here like 4-5 times and every time I come it’s always good. It’s not my favorite place but it is to turnt up real good, I like more of variety music.. but last visit I got into the VIP room by a security and he offered free shots and drinks. Which was amazing!! They also invited us to after party but sadly I needed to go home. But good place

Very organized ! From the moment my guest and I were guided to our section, to the waitress standing there to greet us! She introduced herself and made us feel welcomed. Shoes were really energetic and the shots she made my table were delicious ! We were checked on all through the night. Very diverse crowd definitely would recommend !

This club is dead. tables in the middle of it. nobody comes to this club anymore. Club is empy, no dance floor, no one dances. Its pretty LAMEEEE2020 this club is even more dry than it was before.

They make dress codes for women but not men? Wouldn’t let me in cause I didn’t have heels on but it didn’t matter that I was gonna buy alcohol and came with a group of girls. Bad company with degrading rules

Got a table on me years Eve. Maybe. Its better other times but on this might we never got the bottles we paid for with the table. Waited over 2 hours and many arguments with the staff later finally got what we paid for over 3 weeks in advance. They wouldnt even let us through the door . Organisation needs to be better. Management as well, this place has potential but without proper Management even the best places can fall to the waste side.

Cool spot but for $30 to get in? Not really worth it. They did have hookah which is nice. I wouldnt go frequently.

Every time I try to open the website for this nightclub it opens a scam page and says my phone has multiple viruses.

The staff is very rude. The bouncers are extremely unprofessional they will make a big deal out of nothing. You can find a way more better and even cheaper club in Houston this one.

Visited this club for the first time this past Saturday with a friend. Self- parking was quoted by lot attendent at $20 then he went down to $15. As Soon as we got out of my car, a homeless man begged us for money, so my friend gave him a $1 for peace. Then the cover charge was another $20 to get inside. Their drink specials were only $5 all night. The general atmosphere and layout of the place was ok for the price. The bottle girls were beautiful and the DJ hype man was cool. Not much my type of music, would prefer more variety but it was entertaining at the least.

Im still rating this 4 stars out of five because it was clean, good music, and a nice vibe. HOWEVER the owner i believe his name is JR, kicked me out of a section. I got in for free because my friend was on several peoples lists and she invited me and brought me with her. He kicked me out of the section because he was jealous that my friend was conversating with another guy and i guess he felt like she was playing him so he made me leave out. but the other girls i came with (they were all white) got to stay in the section. somebody in the section was pointing at me and signaling to somebody else to make me leave. I honestly felt like i was singled out because i am black, i could be wrong but i strongly feel like that was the resason. i saw very few black people in the building anyways. My friend who invited me was not present at the section when this happened. I kept trying to tell them why are they only kicking me out when i came with 4 other people (who were still in the section dancing! )and a guy just kept saying idk but move out of the section. when my friend came back i told her what happened and she said lets go. in the car i was mad and crying because i really do feel like i was singled out and i just wanted to fight somebody so bad. this experience makes me never want to go back there.

BEST club in Houston from the front door to the table service to the dj . GREAT experience in this club the waitress were gorgeous and had amazing customer service skills its in the heart of midnight so its in a great location as well .
