This place is so fun and educational great place for family to lean the chemical and energy like how we get the power, how those power coming from. You even want to know more the nuclear fission and any engineering about the green or renewable energy. It is a cool place go with your kids and have fun there.
If only the walled-off floor space about renewables had half the attention paid to it as the rest of the exhibits on this floor. While there are some very engaging exhibits and demonstrations on the oil and gas industry, the renewables nook only has five poorly-working video screens which play a couple videos and host huge walls of text. Its honestly not too surprising, and I dont know why I was hoping for something a bit more balanced than an exhibit sponsored (surprisingly unabashedly) by oil companies.Seems like it should be more properly titled Wiess Hall of Corporate Whitewashing
While the exhibits are all well done, it seems to really make oil look good, which makes sense when you see their donor list. There wasnt much focus on other sources of energy. Even the Energy City was very focused on oil and renewables were a side addition.
Its amazing, when you want to visit try cover from group there are many at ground dont miss. There is Dinosaur museum and Butterfly museum at ground floor only dont miss those and movie theater as well, badly we missed that. All are good....
There was obviously a lot of money pumped into this exhibit from the many generous donated by mentions seen when walking around. This results in an amazing presentation of the technology used to obtain the energy we need. I have seen reviews criticizing the lack of information about renewable resources, and although I see their point, I dont believe the focus of the exhibit was ever mainly the energy. The focus is on the technology and process taken to get that energy. I personally was impressed with the presentation and would wholeheartedly recommend visiting to check it out.
Truly amazing! Very interactive, colorful and well laid out. Exhibits are understandable - I learned a lot! An incredible show - energy in every form. Energy City sponsored by Chevron was mind blowing! Super!
We were so excited to hear that the newly redesigned exhibit was opening and then to finally see what they’ve done was incredible. You could spend hours here and with all the interactive items kids of all ages can enjoy this huge new attraction.
Down stairs from the Houston museum of natural science. All this basically is is oils and stuff like that. It didnt really interest me that much, and the games are kinda hard to understand
Cool stuff in here, worth the trip for just thins floor, let alone all the rest
Listen, If you had any intrest in learning about Renewable Energy, Global Warming, or anything other than Oil; Well you are in for a shock, there isn’t. It’s mostly propaganda on Fracking, Hydrocarbons, and Drilling sponsered by the Oil Industry.
Great exhibit with lots to see and learn, both for kids and adults.
The childrens museum is so fun and educational great place for the family
Super innovative fun, multiple rides to experience energy.
Amazing and interesting editions to the museum it was a blast
Obvious propaganda sponsored by Texas oil and gas companies. Sad this is in a scientific museum. No mention of climate change or anything scientific. Just propaganda.
Loved the Field trip!!! The museum of science was awesome!!!
