Ive been coming to this theater since I was a child, and I havent been there for a while since placed closed down. So when this theater opened back up, I was happily surprised that the service is still top notch and now they are taking major precautions to ensure the safety of the customers as well. This theater is still my favorite for that reason.

First time coming to Regal Edwards. I went on a Wednesday around 3 PM to watch My Hero Academia in 4D (place was empty, so no waiting in lines!). I went alone and had a blast watching the movie as the chairs rocked like a rollercoaster, wind blew on the back of my head, water lightly sprayed in front of me and the lights flickered around the room.I recommend going alone or with friends, either way youll know you had fun by the end of the day!

Literally here to watch Shazam and your screen cuts off and goes black then you continue the movie to allow to play. Then you tell everyone you’ll rewind the movie then don’t do it and continue to let it play. You all really messed up I have photos of your employees lying to groups of us telling us it’ll be rewound and photos of your guest service line that you couldn’t be bothered to bring more employees/managers to help handle the situation. Writing this review at 11:17 pm April 5, 2019 after waiting 22 minutes from the time the movie went out to be resolved. I’ll be sure to edit this review with updates after waiting through this massive line. Edwards Theater is one of my favorite theater movie chains, perhaps even my favorite movie chain. It has 23 screens, multiple types of 3D (IMAX, Real 3D) viewing experiences, and is sized to accommodate 2000 or more people quite comfortably given its 23 screens and at least 100 plus people per viewing screen. (Usually its not that packed though, unless its opening night for a major blockbuster!) The place is always well kept, the staff are professional and dress well, and the concession stand offers all the usual types of popcorn, drinks, and candies, plus convenient foods such as beef and chicken burgers with waffle fries, hot dog and fries combos, pizza, and corn dogs for those wanting more substantial fare than candies, ice creams, cheese sticks, or nachos and cheese. There are even spirits available in iced slushies or mixed with various sodas, for those who like to enjoy the bar buzz, and have a safety driver with them! Coming in at non-peak hours allows for a vast choice of rests and a very quiet movie experience. For those preferring large social groups coming in at peak times will guarantee that experience! Prices are variable. You can easily spend $50 plus for a 3D ticket at peak viewing hours and a substantial amount of food and snacks, or you can spend less than $20 for a ticket at off peak hours and still get a large drink and a tub of popcorn or a hot dog or the like. Large drinks are refillable, no extra charge. The parking lot is very large, is patrolled by mobile security, and is well lighted...and free too! Multiple other businesses surround the theater, such as Red Robin, Cafe Adobe, Improv Comedy, Theater, shopping areas and fitness brand stores, etc, so its quite possible to entertain yourself or a group of friends for hours at the same location. Access and exits are right off the feeder roads so getting in and out is convenient too!

I like Edwards marque & West oaks Marque over Cinemark, Edwards marque is located near Dave & Busters they are usually busy except during the day, I posted these pics. Because I was at the special anniversary showing of (You know what this movie is) but of course a Nightmare on Elm Street, it was showing for a special $5 & you got to see it on the big screen could not complain.. concessions are a little expensive but what theater isnt.. Theater rooms are clean, sound is just right, and there are lots of staff members at the concession to make sure they get you set up for your movie experience. 1 thing I would suggest is getting 1 of their point earning cards that is good on movies watched and concessions, you will earn free stuff the more you go.

All in all it was a good experience. I suppose Im used to theaters having luxury loungers nowadays I was surprised to see that a theater like Edwards did not have them when even discount theaters do. The whole place is defenetly ready for a facelift. The popcorn was good the first time around and then we got a refill and something just seemed off about it. Service was somewhat lacking at the box office but good at the concession stand. When we got into the theater there was still popcorn on the seats from the last movie that had played.

This place needs a major update. We usually go to Cinemark theaters (luxury loungers and great rewards program), but there was a special screening of a movie we wanted to see and this theater was the only one that had it. What a difference - outdated chairs, smaller screens, rewards program not as nice, and RIDICULOUSLY slow concession service (only 2 registers open; I watched two people move to the other line after waiting too long, and two more people give up and leave). Management, please consider some much needed upgrades.

Standard theater with lots of showtimes and movie offerings. As far as Houston theaters go, this one is the best balance of value and offering. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable and clean. I like the large padded armrests because they do move up and down! Concessions are standard. There is a ~$1.50 surcharge for reserving seats online - if you want to save money, arrive early & buy your tickets there. IMAX theater is a joke. They advertise 23% more image but they actually crop into the image. If you are watching Joker here, you can see clearly where they crop off the title on the edge. Why spend $13 on a ticket and $15 on snacks when you can just go to a nicer theater and have a better experience. There are too many options for them to not be a nicer quality. This is a nice theater. I like how they run the classic films that TMC promotes from time to time. A group of friends went with me to see Casablanca on the big screen in 2019 and it was fabulous. They just showed Meet me in St. Louis during the holiday season and it was beautiful on the big screen as well. The concession stand prices are still ridiculous. Cinemark at least has a separate area to get cooked good at reasonable prices and Alamo Draft house is super cool for so many reasons, but the Edwards Marqe does have all the latest films and a classic now and then too.

The seats aren’t comfortable for either of us including my son who is in between our heights. The seats are in sets of 4 which would be nice to know coming in so if u don’t have 4 ppl in your party the odds of you having some random person sitting by you is great. I oil have asked for my money back but I drove all the way from College Station to try and enjoy this movie theatre. And I wish I would have stayed home and just watched IMAX or something. The theatre is nice but yeah it ain’t that nice. I could have had a better experience going to iPic theatre they know how to explain the seatings and everything thing to set expectations before u go there and their seats are comfortable. They sent us to the customer service desk where a manager let us know they had been told by Fandango that they had had an error with the system which I would have understood except that we hadnt ordered through Fandango. They offered no explanation as to why this had happened, just an oh, i guess you guys did order through us. We werent charged for the tickets at least, but we wasted an hour getting over there for nothing. There was a confirmation email, qr code, and everything. I wish wed have at least received an email showing that the tickets had been canceled so we wouldnt have driven all the way over there. It just seems like no one wanted to take accountability for the mistake and I understand that the staff isnt really responsible, but it was such a disappointment. Honestly, if this is whats going to happen every time a big movie like Endgame comes out, then I really dont think I can put my trust into this theater. Tried the new 4dx theater for Rise of Skywalker. It was sometimes distracting, but it added another layer to the experience like a ride at universal studios ride. If you have tried dbox seats, this is definitely the next level of immersion. It was my first time experiencing a movie with added effects like strobe lights when there is lighting, or mist of water and wind blowing for water scenes. The seats move depending on what happens in the scene and there are little vents that blow out shots off air next to your ears when shots are fired. The chairs will thump you in the back if somebody is getting hit on screen. They only thing you can adjust is the water, unlike the dbox seats where you can adjust the intensity since every seat is separate. 4dx seats are connected, so you have four seats that move together as a group. It is pricey but worth trying it at least once if you dont mind getting tossed around a little bit.
