Beautiful art and nice vendors. I am becoming a fan of TIC jewelry
This perineal market delivers. An eclectic mix of art, food, music and drink. Art by names you might know or want to to know at prices well below the galleries they show at or will one day will show at. Local breweries and wineries have their wares for purchase. Craft range from home soap to functional sculpture.Food Trucks provide food or a short walk down 19th ST to an array of restaurants. There is parking adjacent to market. Mitch Cohen has curated a market that delivers the total experience
Had an amazing time with my wife. Very outdoors, sunny great weather great weekend for adventure. Love these set up shops where you can walk around and shop see and try stuff out. Definitely need more events like these
Pretty cool. Wish they had seats to hang out at and eat, food truck there yes. Looked like really good Asian food but I didnt try. All venders take cash and card. Hot so take it easy and stay hydrated.
Dogs are welcome! Usually a delicious food truck and fantastic artists!
Always fun to go to. Great art to buy
Fantastic monthly arts show! Great way to engage with the community and support local artists.
A good variety of different artists. Prices for pieces were reasonable.
This place is awesome and has everything from doc martin liquid acrylic to one shot for pin-striping! all in one place!
Bought a calendar and some coasters. They look great.
A wonderful group of artists.
A nice neighborhood market, available every month! Youll find more paintings and crafts than some other markets, and they might benefit from more food options. The live music is always a nice touch, as well as being able to stop by most of the other area stores that stay open (usually).Once a year (August), First Saturday coincides with White Linen Night, with many more open shops and events going on. Its an all day event. Enjoy!
Ive shopped here and have participated as a seller. Always a large variety of art and lots of interesting people to talk to and connect with. Come out and shop or sign up as a vendor! You wont be disappointed!
I liked what I saw. We bought some coasters to gift to someone. The wood art and cutting boards was cool. The party in the dental office next door was awesome.
Cool place to buy something unique to decorate your walls.
Love this market. Excellent fine art, great live music, and awesome food trucks. A market worth visiting.
So much fun! All kinds of art, food trucks, restaurants with chairs on the sidewalk, dogs on leashes, all kinds of fun things going on!A very fun thing to do!!
Very nice selection of local art. FUN. NOT HUGE EASY TO WALK. EASY PARKING
I had a great time.
The First Saturday Market hosts a fantastic opportunity for individuals to find quality unique art to buy. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional. The artwork changes on a regular basis which makes this ongoing Market exciting and fun. Along with art you will find fabulous food and music. A truly enjoyable time!
There is nice art, jewelry, woodwork for reasonable prices. Beer and wine and a food truck are there. They also have a live musician. Its fun and I go 4 or 5 times a year.
Its ok. No more than a dozen booths and everything was overpriced, even the handmade items. I love supporting artists, but hello!! This is not an upscale art gallery! But the Brazilian for truck was ok.
The First Saturday Arts Market is different things to different people. To the public, it is a great place to view and purchase original art, meet up with friends, make new friends, listen to great local musicians, enjoy a variety of foods and have a nice family-friendly experience in Houstons historic Heights. To new artists, its a great place to launch a career. Booth space is reasonably priced; there is heavy buyer traffic; media coverage is usually excellent and its a place where artists can interact with each other and make contacts in the Houston art community. And then there are the sales. Almost every artist I know that has shown at the First Saturday Arts Market has done well. Consistently. In fact, many established artists routinely return to the market because of the high sales potential and supportive atmosphere. Artist or art enthusiast, market alumni or first-timer, no matter what your individual circumstance, the First Saturday Arts Market is a place to be involved with.
Tonight was my first visit and I had a blast! Great music, awesome local art and super nice people. The Billie Hope Creations tent was my absolute favorite!!!
Highly recommend, a great place to check out local artists. Visit Cammie, the very special soap lady!
A fantastic local Art Show run by the best promoter Ive ever worked for. Come and check it out for some great art, unique food trucks, and excellent live music.
Great vendors and clean environment. Parking was easy.
It was smaller than I thought it would be. I guess it is still young and growing. By the advertisements, You would think it was well established with lots of art.
Nice market with a variety of arts and crafts.
Very hot, not enough art for the drive
The best place to find unique, top quality art from jewelry to paintings. I bought several well priced gifts and a little something for myself. LOVE this market!
The artists are always fantastic, and we always find way too many pieces that we want to buy.
This is a great venue for family fun. Art, music, food, whats not to enjoy? Mark your first Saturday every month for The Heights First Saturday Arts Market. Youll be glad you did.
Great artist! Artist rotate each month so its always new.
Always an enjoyable experience - quality artists who are very friendly & happy to explain their work. A great place to find gifts for others or yourself - and all all-around good time!
Great art show, with everything from woodworking to Nature Photography.
Love the Heights! Definitely going to the 1st Saturday Arts Festival.
Small and has good prices and people are very friendly
Awesome art market, check it out!
Quaint art market.
We wished there were some thread art and other textile art.
Moving to nighttime in the summer is a must in the Houston heat.
Love First Saturday!
Always something new and interesting
Best art market in Houston
Fun way to spend a few hours on a Saturday.
Loved all the variety of vendors. They were pleasant and friendly. I will definitely come back!
