This is a very nice park probably the nicest one in hot springs. Its very big and quiet, great place to jog, walk they have beautiful trails. One play area for toddlers and another one directly across for bigger kids. They have clean bathrooms and I also noticed that a park ranger drives through periodically to check on the park which I absolutely love too. My kids enjoy it so much we come to hot springs once a month and we always stop by and play at this park before driving back home 2 1/2 hours. Super clean, well taken care of nice parking close and a big pond with a beautiful waterfall.
Beautiful Park, we were visiting from Dallas with 3 young boys and had a blast! Perfect for a quick pit stop or an all day get together.
BEAUTIFUL! We stopped for a picnic while on a road trip and the view was amazing. It wasnt overly busy and we ate at a little overlook deck and enjoyed the scenery and the quiet.
There are swimming areas, fishing areas, and several boat docks. Great place for the family and any friends. Loved my visit and had an amazing time.
Very Nice Facility. Had a childs birthday party.
I attended a Beau and Randis wedding here. It was very beautiful!
Cute little area. Would be nice to take the kids and go grill and fish off the piers and spend the day. Big nice play area.
Love hiking all the trails! Through forests and hills and by the lake!
Very beautiful park on Carpenter damLovely fishing piers and great walking trails along the lake. I have really my vacation here.
The place itself was awesome! Love the fishing and scenery.
This place has both a toddler play ground, and one for older kids. There are also lots of trails of varying steepness and difficulty. Its my favorite place to take my 2 yo to wear him down some.
Lovely view, nice trails, nasty restrooms.
Dope little park with trails for your exercising needs. Also has a few boat launch areas adjacent to the entrance of the park and in the park are a few docks where one can fish and touch the water.
I love the serenity of this place. I will definitely make this one of my most visited places.
Wanted to go somewhere to walk.We have been walking in the village for the last couple of months and we decided to try Energy Park. To get to this park you must take I-270 exit #7 toward Lake Catherine Arkansas Hwy 128. I believe it is about 3 or 4 miles from I -270 The park was packed but we were able to find places to walk and not come in contact with anyone. The fishing and the play grounds area had many people. The restroom were open and you could use them with little contact from others. We did get a long walk in and at the same time kept safe distance from others. Glad we went
Very nice park, definitely better for walking/running on the trails than for the playground equipment. There are pavilions there also, very nice spot to have a picnic. Also, for my fellow parents out there wondering, there aren’t any swings of any kind here.On another note; I did find a deer leg that looked like it had been amputated in the parking lot a few months ago. This by no means changes my feelings regarding my park experience, but it was off-putting, and further proving that this park provides more of a wildlife/trail/nature-esque than a traditional playground park.
The space and parking alone had me satisfied!!! I love how spaced out the pavilions are!! The lake literally walking distance! Bathrooms werent bad at all just have to fully push in the flushing thing lol. Loved the different play grounds!!
Nice park with a few good fishing spots and nice area for the kids to play and nature walks as well
It’s a great place to take your kids!
Views during Walk along trails
Definitely will be going back
Cool park! Places for kids to play and its a cut lil walk with a pavilian down by the water
This is where Hamilton turns into lake Catherine. This is part of Lake Hamilton, so the water is not real clean. Notwithstanding, this is a good place to swim.. People fish here also. Bring a yoga mat to sit on. Otherwise, the seating will be either rocks or the hard wooden boating docks.. No sand here. Can also be a lil noisy because this is where hydroelectricity is being generated. There are signs saying no swimming or diving, but people do swim & dive. Mostly teenagers & young adults. Stay away from the boats when you dive or swim. Be respectful & keep a low profile. . Swimmers & divers are rare, so you will usually be all alone on the docks.
Ive attended outdoor events here for the last couple of years, and always enjoyed it. They bother to note in their site map which trails are wheelchair accessible and which arent. Their restrooms are also genuinely accessible. And you have a wonderful view of Lake Hamilton and the dam, and nobody in your group has to feel left out. You can even see the steps of what were once houses for workers on the dam. Worth a visit, and if youre thinking of hosting a local outdoor event, consider using Entergy Park as your venue.
Beautiful park but not good for bank fishing. Water was way to low to support any keeper size fish and the fountain appeared to be broken.
Nice park with several walking trails and playgrounds along Lake Hamilton
A really nice park. We went fishing. They have several piers to fish from.
Good walking trails and nice docks for fishing
Family friendly, short trails, busy.
Everyone likes to plan their Birthday parties on the same day and there are only 2 big pavilions. Also there needs to be small kid friendly activities near the big kids playground I dont like having to separate from my kids of different ages. Thats not Safe. And its right next to a major highway.
First time visitor, Park was very beautiful and nicely built.Had to leave when we needed to go to the restroom. They were in pretty unusable and stinky plugged condition. No flushing, no toilet paper. Hopefully repaired next time we visit.
Always nice n clean.
Lovely park to take a hike, fish, or have a picnic. It is clean. There are benches along the lake for you to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. The playground is located next to a large picnic pavilion, which has a large barbecue grill.
A pretty place to spend the afternoon with family, or just a 30 minute lunch hour. The restrooms are very clean and there are lots of spots with seating to hang out in. Kudos on making this park so nice to visit.
Had a awesome time
This park is relaxing. I like to fish, getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. And to get away from the kids. Lol but whats great about this place, even if you bring your kids there is all sorts of things to do with them. All around great park.
This is a terrific park to take the kids fishing or to play on the playground. Adults will love the walking trails too. The views of Lake Hamilton are spectacular.
Nice place to enjoy your day with your kids . The park has a pond where u can fish, has trails u can walk or bike also has 2 playgrounds for young kids and little kids, also walking distance to the lake where u can swim in, its beautiful.
Boat ramp and pier available. Beautiful area. Peaceful!
This is a neat little Park tucked away from the road. There are restrooms at playground lots of fishing docks and good walking trails.
Clean and safe place for kids to play!! My girls love walking the trails!
Fun park with beautiful suroundings
A nice place to enjoy with your family and childrens the two playground are nice for them and the lake views are very good I will recommended. Also yall can enjoy fishing not in the lake but are a pretty cool garden with a small lagoon that are good for the fishing game.
My dogs and I walk there every day. The paved paths are well maintained and there arent as many tics. I just wish that some of the people who use the park would appreciate what they have and pick up after themselves.
Kids Loved it Lot to play with on the playground
Nice place for family gathering & bday parties lots to do for everyone
I enjoy the views and ample picnic area. Good place to get good pictures and extra steps in
Beautiful park. Great for a good light hike or fishing. Both from the bank and in a flat bottom
What a beautiful setting! I really enjoyed watching the Canadian Geese in action. The walking paths were very inviting. I plan to make time to walk more of them on my next visit.

Great spot off the river. Plenty of grills
Great walking trails. Beautiful lake views!!
Great place for a family!
Left my doors unlocked and someone stole out of my car! The car next to us had their window broken..called the cops and all they said was that they had been receiving phone calls about it and if we didnt see them they couldnt do anything!
Nice variety of walking trails, with great views and activity areas for kids to play.
Clean, child and pet friendly. Beautiful views.
Beautiful scenery, lots of space. Great hiking and fishing also.
Absolutely love taking my son here on pretty days!!!
Really nice place to have a picnic or just enjoy some quiet time.
Quiet, nice, lots of nature, beautiful lake view... love it!!
Love taking my kids here! Always clean.
Needs a few more spots to grill. But love going here
No fish and swimming is way too close to the fishing area!
I go to go fishing but itsnot the best place if u do t have a boat.
Great place to hike or fish
Convenient boat ramp.
Quite possibly one of the best parks in Hot Springs. Trails for your dogs...as well as...water fountains for them and plenty of places for the kids to play.
Great place to hike!
Great place to go walking with your partner..and listen to the water and bird watch
Early arrival allowed my daughter and I some cool walking trail time as well as some time later to leisurely read the info signs and history of the area lakes. Attractive playground area and mostly well maintained trails gave a pleasant first impression that was easily carried for most of the morning. We watched fish in the lake and disturbed a deer.
Great park for the kids. They have area for smaller and younger kiddos. Trails to walk that are on and off pavement.
Nice park near the dam
Its beautiful, very relaxing! A great spot to fish and the kids can play at the playground.
Great place for weekend
The views and trails are refreshing!
Great park right outside of town, nice for sunsets.
A nice park by the lake. It has many walkways in the nature some going by the water. There is a kids park as well. There are many local flower plants in the park. Benches available by the lake to relax. After sunset, fireflies can be seen. Overall a worth visiting local park in the hot springs area.
Beautiful and peaceful
Great place to bring family, beautiful veiw, and very engaging play equipment for the kids. Excellently maintained park, with extremely clean facilities. If are in the area and enjoy this sort of thing, you must check it out.
Such a great park! We were recommended this park by a ranger at the National Park and we are so happy he did. Great little walking / hiking trails, 2 playgrounds (based on kids ages), lots of fishing areas, and adequate parking. We also were impressed at multiple covered areas to sit and picnic. If you live in Hot Springs or are visiting and looking for something to do at a park, this is the place!
Excellent spot for family and Pokemon go
Very nice and great fishing docks!!
Beautiful trails.. mostly paved!
Boat ramp is great, park and lake is pretty dirty.
