Ive started taking lessons with Chris and I have already seen improvement just within the first week. He is honestly a great teacher makes you feel comfortable and just has a great personality overall.

Chris at Oahu Swim Academy did the impossible and helped me learn how to swim properly. I have always loved the water and the beach, and could swim for fun, but never learned how to swim with proper technique in spite of having tried lessons in the past. Chris is a truly a gifted teacher and coach that methodically helped me learn how to swim and in the Ocean too! This has changed my life. I now swim for 20 minutes non stop and the whole breathing thing is no longer an issue. I lost tons of weight and feel so much healthier as a result of the lessons. He is mega supportive and recommend him fully. I continue to take lessons and grow. It is the highlight of my week, so fun and so satisfying. Thank you Chris for teaching me to swim! Chris is da best! He is not just a great instructor but also a great person. He has motivated me to the point that I swim 3-4 times a week, which has done wonders healthwise.

I went here with the intention of getting swim lessons for my self(more to come). I am a 34 year old father of two and I was tired of getting in the water and not knowing what I was doing(the wifey would laugh at me, ha). Chris was nice enough to meet with me at the beach during the weekday and occasionally on the weekend if my schedule allowed it..Perks of being married.I took Chris advice and I practiced on days when I didnt have lessons. The motivation that i had for this was HUGE and between lessons and my practice sessions I got to my goal of being able to swim out to the sand bar at ala moana.Like I said before, I initially sought out lessons for myself, but then I signed my 3 & 4 year old up. They are making progress with with Chris at our pool and are doing great. My goals for them are to get them water safe and then eventually be able to swim. Making progress on that thus far.
