Dinner poolside on the beach by the clubhouse extension is beautiful marvelous and a nice Hawaiian band two piece simple quiet but not too interfering with the ambiance hence a perfect dial setting for family and friends to get together if you are privileged to be a member of this prestigious institution which has the honor every year of hosting the Sony open... Good golf course, great club, great people.

What a golf course!!! Absolutely beautiful and the pro shop gave us a gorgeous bag tag engraved with our name. Borders the ocean, fabulous views, impeccably cared for. Fun to play even if you are not a low handicap.

Purchase a gift from the gold shop and ordered take out from the kitchen. Delivered to my car.

4.5 stars. Attended a wedding here this month. Beautiful views and right by the water! Staff are utmost accommodating, friendly, attentive. Food was great as well! The entrance of the place is lovely, my only complaint are the low ceilings in the ballroom/banquet area.

Nice late mid-century clubhouse. The professional golf course dates back to 1920s. Professional catering and service staff - had a great time at an awards ceremony. Can reach clubhouse by TheBus with a short walk, to avoid parking congestion.

The club is beautiful, and it would be an honor to be able to afford the opening price. However, the houses surrounding the country club are the best, as seen in these pictures.

The Sony Open is played here. Notice the Palm Trees in the photo that are in the shape of a W. Amazing course. You have to be with a member to get on. You will not be disappointed.

We attended a wedding that was held at the Country Club. Very romantic outdoor setting. Staff was friendly and the facilities were well maintained. Easy to get to and parking was easy. We all had a great time!

Very shallow water. Sony Open was fun. Veterans or the Patriot Tent was the biggest with best food and company.

Attended a pool birthday party here for my daughters friend. The pool was nice and the service was great. They also have the best ahi poke bowl Ive had.

3.5 stars. Good foods and fun at birthday party. Staff is quick and efficient. Facility is okay, a bit dated. Ample parking if you arrive early or on time. My favorite was the fresh crab claws but it ran out too quickly. Watch out for the cone sushi tho, some are weird and no good. Too much vinegar in rice and became a waste of food. Cant believe they dont taste their own food? Nobody taking it and huge pile untouched. Why serve it to anyone if you ruined it from the start? Yuck!

My wife and i went to have dinner but were informed we couldnt as we werent members. We were disappointed to be turned away because it looked like a great spot to eat and there were available tables.

Visited the course for the Sony Open. It is a nice course with maintained greens. The staff is very nice. The course is easy to get to as it is tucked away in Kahala.

Shot a wedding here and the venue itself is beautiful. The reason for 3 stars, is the lack of thought for vegan/vegetarian/specialty vendor meals. How hard is it to make a delicious salad? Instead of a triple stack BLT sandwich with slides of avocado. I received a sad looking poke if quinoa with lentils, 2 thin slices of avocado, 3 tiny slices of mango, annnnnnnd 3 pieces of vegetables.Were not rabbits, we need substance. If anything, let me hot the salad bar at your buffet!? Super disappointed! I wouldve kept this to myself - but it just tasted mediocre. If it tasted decent, I would have kept this review to myself.Please try harder, Costco is...

Went to a wedding their. Buffet was excellent. The grounds and set up was well handled by the staff. I was impressed by our server who actually helped my aunty who was in a wheelchair with the buffet making her plate with what ever my aunty wanted. We insisted that it was not necessary but he continued with a smile.... impressive!

Played lots of courses in hawaii and waialae is one of the best. Tradedwinds and course layout (lots of doglegs) makes it interesting. Course is well maintained.

Playing there is a treat. the fairways are superb, although the greens are difficult, a good championship golf course. The only problem is that you need to have a friend who is a member of the CC to be able to play or enjoy the Club house.

Been going here for years. The buffet isnt the most extravagant, but the food is always really good. Love the atmosphere and its right on the beach.

Very close to the house and much easier than having to cook and clean-up after myself. As well, a great place for the wife and kiddies to wait at while I get a few rounds in.

Our company holds our holiday luncheon there...the food is great, the venue is fine...parking can be problematic but they find a way, either by opening the auxiliary lot or by double parking.
