I adore this tattoo shop. Toni is my artist and I don’t think I’ll ever trust anyone like I trust him. He is so understanding, brilliant, and talented. I have been to multiple places before I found Ahimsa, and really NO place can compare. I’m almost finished with my sleeve and I am so excited to see the end result. Come here for quality tattoos and very fair pricing.

This has been the best shop I have been to on island. Not only is it such a badass spot that promotes light, authenticity and mindfulness, but the tattoo artists are amazing. Bert did my first tattoo from this shop on Friday the 13th last October and it might be simple, but its one of my favorite tattoos I have. I even went back (to Bert as well) for another around Valentines day. Its just one of those places that has great artists, a great owner, and contagious high vibes.

I could not be happier with my experience at The Naughty Vegan. I went in yesterday for a big piece on my calf; the artist showed me a great design, responded to the minor modifications I asked about and then put me under the needle for a fantastic piece! Ive spent all day today name dropping The Naughty Vegan and artist Chris Hebert to anyone whose seen my fresh tattoo, 10/10 would (and have) recommend to a friend!

I went to this tattoo studio because I heard and read so many good thing about the people there and how good they are at their job. But honestly it was a bad experience for me.So actually I wanted to have a cute and aesthetic and small tattoo. It should have been a sunset with two palms and the sun reflecting in the water while there should have been „sun“ written above the sun in japanese. So I got there and when he showed me what it wa ai had to change it two or three times, until it was, what I wanted. Then he did the sample and (I wanted the sun black so I asked him and he said yes it‘s gonna be black) put it on the back of my neck and it looked good really. So then he tattooed it and I didn‘t feel that much pain which was great and he was pretty fast which amazed me. And then he took a picture for me to „look if it was good“( like I mean once it‘s there it can‘t be undone) and it did but I thought WOW that‘s fat. I mean the Japanese word was just... fat. So I got home andI looked at the picture again and again and the more I looked at it I had to say ... no. This is ugly. The sun is not nice it just looks like a cracks ball and the lines are not straight. The palm trees are too small even though they look good. The sand (dots) is perfect but the japanese word (it’s in kanji) is just so ugly, huge and fat. It ruined everything. I just got my tattoo today (10/26/18) and omg I totally HATE it. It doesn’t look like my drawing, nor cute, nor aesthetic nor is it small or tiny. It’s just a black fat thing on my back that I wish I never did.So if you ever wanna go there. Be 10000000% sure HOW, WHERE AND WHAT you want. Especially HOW. Because even though I was sure, I didn’t get the tattoo I wanted which is a shame because it should’ve always remembered me of Hawaii. But now all I can think of when I see this mess is that I wanna rip it apart from my body or just cut it out and get rid of it. Because I din’t get the tattoo that I wanted, even though I KNEW exactly how it should look like. I even had a picture. But it looks NOTHING like my picture.

This is an awesome, trendy space with a welcoming staff. Great local yoga spot showcasing artists from the 808 AND they have a tattoo artist. Recommended.
