Loved it! We stayed in the Fireweed room. View was amazing, room was amazing, private hot tub was amazing... we will be going back.

Great location, beautiful view, clean and comfortable rental. The owners thought of everything you could possibly want. Loved that there was plenty of coffee and the private hot tub was so nice. This is hands down the best place weve stayed in Alaska and we have recommended it to all of our friends in state and out. It was the perfect place for our staycation and we plan to return again soon.

What a hidden gem. I feel like the advertisement does not do this property justice. Everything was so well thought out. First and foremost the view....sitting in the hot tub overlooking the water was a perfect way to end a day fishing. The kitchen was stocked with all your cooking needs to include basic spices, oil, tin foil ect. The bed/linens were very comfortable and all the appliances were top notch. If we find ourselves in homer again we will definitely be staying at the Baycrest lodge again.

Nice room (loved the jacuzzi) and great location. A negative was the assigned parking spot which was barely a spot, located next to a gigantic construction dumpster. It was impossible to park there and not get shoes completely wet and muddy, as it was also a huge, muddy parking spot. Of course once that happens, great care had to be taken to avoid mucking up the entry area and carpet. The other negative was the extensive construction work / remodeling being done on so many units. Otherwise, clean and comfortable and amazing to open sliding glass doors and step out on the homer spit beach. Id stay again when theyre offering special rates.

Were staying in the Lupine Cabin and its absolutely beautiful. You have a full view of the ocean at all times. My husband and I went for a little romantic retreat, enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, but we cant wait to bring the kids and enjoy the stocked kichen so we can cook anything we bring (or catch!) . Theres even a huge gas grill outside to cook a nice steak or maybe some fish, or hot dogs, depending on young palletes. I cannot wait to see go back for a visit with the kids! I would tell anyone who asks, Baycrest Lodge is where you want to go!!

We were there for our fifth anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful. The lodge was so cute and the grounds were wonderfully maintained with spectacular views. I would recommend this to anyone.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! Jen and her husband have really composed a masterpiece for their customers. The details in construction, privacy, and lighting will leave you feeling relaxed and at peace, which only gives you that much more time to take in the breathtaking view.

Gorgeous cabin and view. The Augustine cabin is definitely just for two, and is impeccably designed and decorated. It overlooks Cook Inlet and has a private hot tub from which to take in marvelous sunsets over Augustine mountain across the inlet. Dont be put off by the proximity to the road. From inside the cabin, one could barely hear even the loudest trucks. It feels very private and quiet. The cabin had everything needed for cooking our meals, along with a grill.

Great place to stay! Well kept, clean excellent accommodations. Will definitely stay at the Lupine lodge again. My friends and I loved it!

I loved how clean our room was. The hot tub was amazing. The set up of the rooms was awesome. The amenities were exceptional. Whoever designed the rooms did excellent in their choice of flooring, curtains, hardware, and furniture. I just loved it all. Oh and of course the view was absolutely beautiful. It was very quiet and set back from traffic. I would definitely stay again. And just so you know I am very picky about where I choose to sleep. But this place met all of my needs and then far succeeded in the wants department. Thank you so much for the stay.

The whole experience was incredible. The Augustine cabin we stayed in is beautiful. The decor is perfect inside and out. Got to have a fire and watch the sunset. Amazing how you could not even hear the traffic so close to the highway. Will be back soon.

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Augustine for one night and wish it had been longer. I was incredibly impressed with the fit and finish of the cabin. Everything was new, extremely clean, and felt very upscale. Not to mention the location of the cabin was breathtaking - perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the water with fantastic sunset views - views that you can take in from the hot tub sitting on the front porch. Really, really impressed with how nice everything was at Baycrest.

Super clean and cozy!

My family of 4 just returned from our stay at the Canyon Cottage. Where do I begin!? The Cottage was recently renovated and it was done to perfection. The love and care is apparent with the decor down to the last detail. The view is like no other. I could have spent all day on the deck overlooking the mountains and the water. The cottage is completely private...except for the eagles that fly by! The hot tub was wonderful after long hikes with the family. It is perfectly located and a short drive to town and the Spit. The owners are a joy to work with, accommodating, and helpful. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. It was one of the highlights of our Alaska vacation.

We stay at the coal bay cottage and it was wonderful!!! The view was amazing. The house was beautiful, it was very clean and had everything you could possible need.The owners and manger were great to talk to and easy to make arrangements with!I highly recommended using Baycrest Lodge for your stay in Homer!!!

Lovely contemporary large cabin on the edge of the bay overlooking the ocean. Had separate outdoor hot tub on long grassy lawn. Nicely appointed in heavy wood furniture great stay.

This cabin was amazing. Beautiful setting and an even more beautiful cabin. All the amenities you could ever need. Can’t wait to come back!

Baycrest Lodge was the best experience I have ever had. It was way beyond my expectations. The attention to detail from the owners on every level was very impressive. Anyone looking for the complete Alaska experience needs to spend at least one night here.

Spent several hours touring the property and talking with the owners. A great family with a passion for what they do and a dream to grow. Baycrest Lodge, the property, and views are simply stunning. My husband and I have stayed at Baycrest Lodge for years, and we have loved every stay! Jen has always been super nice to us. The rooms are super comfortable, the private hot tubs are a real treat, and the little details are on point! We have stayed in every cabin except for the Augustine, and were looking forward to staying in it soon!

The stay at Baycrest lodge was amazing the views and the owner and lodge manager we very sweet and accommodating. Not to mention stunning views from an amazing hot tub. My stay was 10/10 will be renting from them again

As a lifelong Alaskan with 35 of those years as a pilot/guide, it is safe to say that I have seen some truly amazing sights. My family and I have also sampled numerous Alaska lodging options over the years. Taken as a whole, the Lupine House at Baycrest Lodge was hands down the finest place we have ever stayed. The quality accommodations, spectacular view and their attention to the smallest of details are simply unsurpassed.

The stay was great! Beautiful house, lady seemed nice at first. Until she kept requesting more and more money from the AirBnB app for apart of the house that was LEFT unlocked. Also was accused and of leaving the house dirty... which it wasn’t.... Everyone just be weary of more money requests from this place 2/5 wouldn’t waste my money again.

We stayed at the Fireweed! And it was everything I wanted for a mini getaway. The views, the hot tub, how cozy it was, and clean Checking in and out was so easy! I definitely recommend this to everyone. There wasn’t a single thing I did not like. It was perfect!

The place is simply amazing! Spotless, wonderful view, great interior design and so very private feeling. They did an amazing job making you feel like youre the only person there. The private hot tub area is completely yours alone, but open to the view.

Stayed at the Lupine house for 4 nights.Impressive!!!By far the best out of town experience I’ve had.The house was completely furnished with every single thing I could have wanted.Relaxing in the hot tub on the bluff watching the eagles playing in the updraft was a memory I’ll keep forever!TOTAL COMFORT IN EVERY DETAIL!!!!5+++

We are staying in Alder!! The cabin is sooooo nice and the view is something I will never forget. BBQ and very private hot tub on the deck. By far the nicest place we have stayed in Alaska and the view is post card worthy.

The owner did not let me book this due to the fact that I am of a different race. Sadly this country faces these situations to our members of the armed forces. My friend warned me of these circumstances and I refused to believe that the owner was one of those people but unfortunately she is. Would very much not recommend to anyone who is not of the English orientation, she can be very biased on who she’ll allow on her property.

This place was amazing!! Super comfortable and clean. They thought of everything. The view is unbelievable, the fire pit is great and easy to use with the provided materials. I will definitely be back, and will recommend this place to friends:)

I live in Colorado and decided this year to get my parents a gift certificate for Christmas to the Baycrest Lodge. I can say Jen was so helpful from the get go and my parents absolutely LOVED the cabin!!! Said it was so nice and welcoming they will be recommending to everyone and so will I.

Absolutely loved our stay! We are local just wanting a overnight getaway and we couldnt have been more happy with our choice. We stayed at the Augustine and the view was breathtaking even for us having been raised here on kachemak Bay. You have an unobstructed view of lower Cook Inlet and the mouth of Kachemak Bay including from the hot tub on the deck Auburndale volcano is right across the inlet from you.The interior is beautifully decorated, I didnt want to leave! Lol the bed, pillows, the complete wall of windows view from bed and every possible thing you need for a getaway ️ great spot for local to first time to Alaska visitors!

This is our second visit to Fireweed and we love it! Spotless, well appointed, comfortable and the views cant be beat. So cozy and relaxing. The perfect place to stay in Homer. Hope to make this a regular stop on our annual Alaska trips! Thank you Jen!!

We stayed at the Lupine House and it was superb in every respect. It was immaculately clean, outfitted for every need throughout the house - from the coffee, utensils and basic cooking supplies in the kitchen to the special blankets and towels for the fire pit and hot tub. The views of Kachemak Bay were vast and gorgeous - the multiple decks gave our large party numerous places to find a quiet moment. This place is worth every penny. Go there.

Quiet, clean and upscale log cabin. Was able to cook out on the gas grill on the deck, relax after work on the sofa, and then climb into an uber comfy bed. Absolutely loved it, look forward to booking during the summer

I would reccomend staying here. We celebrated our 45th anniversary here. It is in one of the most beautiful locations with all the amenities to make for a memorable relaxing stay.

Everything at the Lupine house was perfect or beyond perfect. Outside, the view from the fence line gave us awesome views of mountains and the bay all the way to the Spit. The fence was very sturdy and there are a couple of chairs to sit on and unwind. The playground is well made and great for families traveling with small children and the fire pit allows for perfect roasting of marshmallows and beer drinking. The included playground was great for them too and very well built.Indoors, everything was spotless and we all appreciated the in floor heating and gas fireplace which kept us warm even on the coldest nights. The kitchen was loaded with cooking essentials and appliances. The refrigerator was large and the kitchen was bright and with lots of counter space. Preparing food was a joy as the knives were also sharp and the range was gas. There’s a K cup machine for when feeling lazy and a grinder plus drip machine for when i wanted whole bean coffee.The master suite has an amazing view and private deck. I also was very happy with the internet coverage throughout the house. There is wifi extenders on the second floor. Another benefit was that the bedrooms all had USB connections to the AC electricity. It makes keeping devices charged easy. The master bedroom was huge and probably the largest bedroom i have ever stayed in. There is a king bed and a fully loaded en suite bathroom with hottub and separate dual shower but what really impressed me was the attached office to the bedroom which features double recliners that face the huge window. The balcony was also huge and allows for private relaxing in the open air.Jen was a pleasure to work with and is very warm and friendly. Phone calls and emails are quickly answered.We were so impressed with the property and with Jen’s service we already booked our next Alaska trip for the Lupine while we were still staying here.
