I would like to see this park during a non Covid, warm day. I Love the walkways along the canal that opened up to views of Holyokes industrial grittiness and old mills. There is a small playground, a giant Flywheel and some other attractions in the park. An old school carousel was shuddered when we visited and there is a pay to enter childrens museum that abuts it. Holyokes Downtown has a really nice lil gem here. If you are visiting, this is a definite stop.

Beautiful park with sprinklers for kiddos and lots of trees. Great shady spots to have a picnic and let kids play. There are also 2 playgrounds right next to the canal.

Great place if you like pokemon Go and to relax the remodeling add a mini water park

Good place kids having blast

Its cold inside during the fall and winter, and I think some more heating here is a good idea. The kids liked the horses and the gift shop. Popcorn is only a dollar, and it is good quality as well. Place is nice and clean. Convenient place to stop at while visiting the museum. Birthday party prices seem a little steep.

New splash pad is great looking. Walk by a bunch to go to childrens museum. Very tidy. All water works. Kids are always playing and having a great time. The play area near the canal looks amazing too. Again always at least 1 group of kids playing or just being kids. Good place to come spend a few hours with the family

Went there during off season. The park was closes and renovation work was going on. Wish to visit there during season with my kid and take a ride

Holyoke Maybe a sad town trying to struggle its way out of post-industrial descent, but it is also a very fascinating place would lots of meat offerings. It is definitely a family-friendly destination. The Heritage Park is a great Nexus family activity, with a carousel, a splash pad, a great museum and Visitor Center. Of course, all this is in the middle of the very depressing downtown. But you cant have everything

This doesnt always have the big long water slide . Maybe once every couple years . Stop making it seem like there alot to do which there is not.

Beautiful park. The town overall, not so nice. But I was here for the Celebrate Holyoke annual fair, and it was a pleasant event. Live music, good food vendors, and the park is nice.

The picture of the playground needs to be updated the new spray park and playground equipment are just simply amazing this is the best place to play in the Pioneer Valley. You can always go over to the visitors center to cool off and there is the merry go around for $2 the childrens museum for not much more.

Took our grandkids on a semi warm day had alot of fun. Looking forward to going in warmer weather

They have a carousel for kids only a couple dollars a ride, they have a small playground and the holyoke childrens museum!

This park is one of the most peaceful places in Holyoke!!! The kids love it!!! The children playground is great!! The spray water area keeps the kids cool.

Definitely the safest and most interesting place in downtown Holyoke. A feast for urban explorer with many paper mills open for outside exploration - for better or worse most buildings are well-secured - so external exploration only. Several examples of architecture by DH & AB Tower (David Horatio and Ashley Bemis Tower - Towers of Holyoke) who were the fathers of modern paper mill engineering. The bridge next to the park (Appleton St) can get you to all three levels of the canals where the mills are. You can spend a good portion of the day walking the canals so plan accordingly. Two hours that I spent left me longing for more. The area felt safe - very relaxing legal urbex.

Nice visitors center with clean restrooms and water fountain. Playground for little ones and some paved paths to walk on. Its a great place to break during a road trip to stretch your legs; their are several restaurants within two blocks. We happened to stop when free public concert was happening, which was fun.

Its okay, but definitely has that inner city feel to it. Pretty small for walks but it has a water park for the kids.

A wonderful park in Holyoke, you definitely have to take a ride on the vintage carousel.

Is a beautiful place. We love the children museam but never leave your kids jackets on the hanger place. On monday we have my little one jacket stolen.. Please people have respect for others people property.

I went there for the festival. If your into that whole outdoors, chill environment, live music, constantly almost bumping into others or vice versa, mosquitoes, the dreadful porta potties delicious food priced too high etc type of vibe. I found my new favorite drink #WhiteSangria! The second night I went the mayor of Holyoke made an appearance which was pretty cool of him. Big shout out to the guy and the female that sold the spicy pollo empanadillas and the crab and shrimp salad I also met some great people there. In all.. it gave me and my family something to do, somewhere to go on the weekend and I appreciate all that made it possible.

We absolutely love this place! My 3 year old has so much fun here every time we go. Every activity has something cool to learn or is just plain fun! Our favorite part is the curvy climber, the little ones love crawling around and up and down, and adults can fit in there too for a nice little workout! We also come here for a Christmas party every year and it is always a good time. If you live in the area I would highly recommend coming here with the kids.Bonus, theres also the merry go round right next door!

My kids had a blast here. It gets pretty hectic with kids running around unattended. I have a 2 year that is disabled and I had to scoop her up a couple times so she didnt get trampled. I dont think this is the facilities fault but more the parents who just let there kids run wild!!!!

Beautiful and quiet. Easy walk to Childrens Museum, State Park museum and Merry Go Round. Nicely maintained, shaded and comfortable benches to stop and rest.

Its a good place to come and enjoy yourself with the family. If youre a PokemonGo player then youre in for a treat as it has about 6-8 pokestops and the statue at the end is a Pokemon Gym. So its got something for almost everyone.

I have been going here since I was a kid, it never changes and brings great memories. Very inexpensive and a beautiful carousel.

Its very relaxing has a small childrens park and soon they will have a splash pad for summer water fun for the children.

First time there, it was a nice clean park. Was disappointed the merry go round was open but there was a private party so we couldnt go on it, Ill definitely be back!! Free parking too.

Its right next to the Holyoke childrens museum, I took my daughter there and she loved it, great place to bring kids, and in the summer they have a very old Merry-Go-Round next door which kids and adults can ride on as well

Nice little park with a visitors center, a small childrens museum, and a carousel. there is also a small play area for kids next to the museum. The park is near the canal with a nicely paved walkway. Sadly, other than the park and the canal walk, the area is not well developed. The canal is surrounded by warehouses that look abandoned and is begging for shops, cafes, restaurants, etc to liven things a bit. But the park is nice and there is free parking.
