Great for family outings. Great spot to teach or take a kid fishing. Need more only has one on the North West side of the park area.

We like to feed the ducks and geese bread pieces.... and boy do they come running, ummm.... and swimming! Small children could be frightened by the frenzy and noise.

Great park to stop by for a bathroom break, lunch, and to let the kids and around and get some energy out. We stopped by with our 40ft RV and had no trouble getting in, out, and parking with it.

Beautiful peaceful park! There is plenty of things to do there. Fishing, feeding the ducks, the big awesome playground,the walking trail and plenty of seating placed around the lake. They have picnic spaces for small and big gatherings. Nice clean bathrooms. Dont forget your food and fishing gear and bring a cooler packed with goodies! Its a great place to spend the day !

Its pretty it just needs updating like more bathrooms, bike path, and signs for pedestrians walking and more activities to bring more people to visit the lake.

This is our favorite park in town because it has a great little playground for any age, covered picnic tables, plenty of bench seating around play area, restrooms, and the pond itself has a clean and tidy walking path all the way around. Pets are allowed! And there are always families around, so it feels safe, not so isolated as some of the other parks, and theres almost always other children for my own child to play with. Its also not quite so hot during summer as the other parks with wind blowing across the lake. Its also a great park for bird watching or fishing, the NM Game and Fish guys are often nearby checking licensing and are great for advice if you dont have much experiencing fishing here yet!

Its basically a giant duck pond. Sidewalk all the way around and plenty of space to throw a stick. I wish it had an enclosed designated pet area for the people walking

Peaceful area. Beautiful little pond. Huge playground. Seemed to be stickerburr free for pets! Just beware of all the duck poo.

My girlfriend and I like to come here and feed the ducks. The lake is great for fishing catfish. It is also a great place to go take a walk or running. They park has an area for kids to play in, public restrooms, benches, plenty of trees, and shaded tables for eating.

We have loved coming here for years. I was always so clean especially the restrooms. This year its a mess. Trash every where and the restrooms are a mess. No paper and filthy!

Nice place when u dont have much to spend and want some time with the family or loved ones.

Very nice, plenty of room for my large motorhome, it was right before Easter. Still was not to crowded. I sat there all day....very pretty park.

We visit frequently to feed the ducks and geese. We take our grandbabies and they love the play area. There are always lots of people and kids there having fun.

Now this was relaxing! There ducks, geese, and other kinds of birds and they werent skiddish. Other people there were friendly. Not a bad place to go and mellow out.

For Hobbs, its perfect. Its clean and was a great place to sit and visit with family.The geese are a bit territorial. Respect them, and they wont bother you though

Sometimes big kids play on the equipment and I wish they would be careful for the smaller children. My child gets scared when they start the running and almost knock her over.

I whent here for 2 howers and I got 10 bass

We love tis park. The last few times we visited there was a lot of trash in and around the water, which is very sad. People do not realize how the trash effects the birds and fish. We found a duck that had a fishing line & weight wrapped around its neck. We tried to help the duck but he wasnt having it.

Love bike riding, walking, or jogging here while my son plays in the playground !

There are, like, two oases in Hobbs. Only place here to float a boat. The ducks and geese find this is the better appointed of the two, and the fish are bigger.

Its a nice small park containing a lake with ducks, playground for the kids, basketball court for the teens, and small personal bbq pits for the parent to cook out
