Positives:It is easy to access off Highway 144 near Holbrook Pond, and available to both Military and Civilians.Very spacious, and divided for small and large dogs. Plenty of room for your fur babies to run around.Shade Covering and seating available.Plenty of Trash receptacles in such a relatively confined location, along with baggies to clean up after pets if you forget your own.Area was clean. No piles of pet droppings all over the place (only visited small dog side)Negatives:Grass was high, as if it had not been cut in about 3 or 4 weeks. With the close proximity to the woods, snakes were a concern in the high grass.Little bit of a drive. Even if you are living on base, it would take a little drive.Bring bug spray. With close proximity to forest, bugs were thick, especially with grass so high.Pet play ground was rusted out. Would not let my pup run up and down the obstacles for the same reason I would not let a kid play on a rusted play set.Unfortunately, the chances of returning are slim. It is a longer drive compared to the one in the city... and the rusted obstacles (which is why we go in the first place) were a big turn off
Heres a bit of a hidden gem. Its a great place have dogs socialize and burn them selfs out. The only reason not 5 stars is because its not the easiest place to get to if not affiliated with military.
Besides the over-grown grass, this is a nice park for the doggos. most people come here on weekends around 9am-1pm if you want to socialize your dog. theres two separate parks, usually people who want to socialize their dogs will go to one and the other side of the park is usually empty which is convenient if your dog is shy or somewhat aggressive.
No one there.
Great spacious area. I like the doggy waterfoutains and spickettes. There is obstacle course too. I like that you can open up both sides or have it shut. I have always enjoyed bringing my dogs here.
Plenty of room to play catch, agility area, and never full.
Compared to most dog parks in the area this one has the most to do plus it has a water area for you and your dog and a covered area you can sit.
Super fun with a lot of space for dogs to run. They have two parks for small dogs and large dogs. There is also water fountains for dogs that work.
Nice dog park 2 sections both with doggie drinking fountains. Open to public
My dog loved this park
Our Huskies love this place. Water spouts and lots of running room.
Great fenced in area for you and your dog do throw around toys and walk onto the obstacles. Just watch out for the poop!
I love dogs in general and I love that fact that they have such things as dog parks for dogs to play and interact with other dogs.
Is like a dog hotel.
Very nice
