In spite of having facilities at Sea Pines, it was well worth paying for the monthly pass (weekly pass not available due to COVID) even for the 1 week stay. Pool was immaculate and generally able to get a lane. Looking forward to being able to swim there again next month!

Amazing space for a workout. This centre has two floors, various rooms, a fitness centre, outdoor courts and a playground.There are also fitness studios with classes. In this review I am addressing the fitness centre which is on the second floor overlooking the basketball court. The equipment area can get a bit crowded if you have more than six people. However, there are a lot of cardio machines. There are two cardio areas, a TRX station (which almost never gets used), weight machines, free weights with a couple of benches, and a small stretching area. The only issue I have is the mirrors which look a bit like circus mirrors that make you look a bit wide. One more thing, the staff is amazing.

My 2 years old son just love being over there, mostly we go to swimming pool. And we are excited to discover to our self the playground too)))

This is the most amazing rec center I have ever seen. It is new and has everything: pools, soccer fields, football fields, even lacrosse, volleyball, softball, baseball. Tennis courts. Pickleball courts in the back where some construction was going on. I was able to play even though I was a tourist. They have you sign a disclaimer online at the front office and pay a nominal fee. You can probably do that for some of the indoor sports and swimming. If you like a particular sport you dont have to forgo playing if you travel to Hilton Head. This place has it all.

The cheapest I could find in hilton head with new machines, renovated and clean. I enjoy my time there, people at the desk are friendly and if you need help from their stuff you got it!You can find also pool-basketball field-volleyball field and they still extend the area with some playground etc.It was definitely worth its money!

Its really fun they have a pool 7 dollors per kid there is a membership you can join. You will be able to play basketball and workout they have a workout area up stairs and downstairs. Its a really fun place to take your kids there is lifeguards at the pool it has a park and a lot more fun things to do... Amd there is staff that is always with the kids and around the area. The recreation center is safe children and teens are not allowed to leave unless a parent or Guardian come to get them they have a game center up stairs ps4 xbox and more diffrent choices. Try it out

Great rec center with everything you can think of for kids. My oldest daughter has taken swimming lessons, dance lessons, played soccer, played Softball and is now going to summer camp. Worth checking out the long list of activities they have to offer.

Usually pretty quiet here in the mornings during the summer, can always get a good swim in - totally recommend if youre looking for a workout spot in the summers.

Great sports facility

Absolutely adore the island rec center. The after school care is fun, educational, and safe! The summer camps are full of field trips and awesome counselors. The activities are well organized and fun! The island rec center is such a great place on island.

The Island Rec Center has great programs that meet my familys need for quality, safe, and meaningful recreation. I highly recommend checking out their programming and go participate! Tell your friends and neighbors, too!

Great place to work out and play volleyball

For an honest review: 1. Hours have not changed, and 2. I know for a fact they did not change from the six month re construction.

The pool and the pool staff are just wonderful . Im so grateful to have a nice clean place to swim. Its the best exercise for me,expecially, since Ive had surgery on both of my shoulders.

If you see some old folks playing pickleball... thats the place you should go have fun playing pickleball.

My review is strictly for the pool and as an out of towner on vacation...The pool is outdoors, and is cooled in the summer, very refreshing! If you want to get a few laps while visiting, they only charge $5 for a day pass. Pool was moderately crowded.Recommend prior to heading over to swim to check Weatherbug. Even devoid of audible thunder or lightning sighting, the pool can be shut down if that app indicates a lightning strike within 10 miles in the last 30 minutes. Better to check than to waste a trip....policy was a little frustrating with no cloud development in sight at all on the visible horizon.

We were told public swimming was allowed during lap swim time. I called before going with my family. This pool does not have space for any family public swimming. We spent $18 and stayed for 30 mins and felt like outsiders the whole time. Disappointed and frustrated with the experience!
