Great theater, helpful staff, good deals on concessions. Blends old school theater elements with modern comforts nicely.

The facilities and amenities are really good. The staff didnt seem very happy. But that didnt stop us from having a blast watching Avengers.

I went to Hilton Head for vacation with my family and we wanted to catch a show and this place had pretty good reviews. When I first stepped foot inside let me tell you it was one of those old fashion theaters. It was nice to have a different vibe than what you are used to be honest :) I love the decor inside its very antique. The place is very busy so I suggest coming early to save yourself a seat.

My fiancee and I go here almost every Saturday for date day! We went on a Tuesday out of our routine and she lost her phone. They kept it safe and I picked it up the following morning. Thank you! Its important to note that her ID and debit card were in the wallet case.

This was the worst experience I have ever head. We were the last movie and there are multiple signs that say that there a free refills for popcorn and drinks. However when we went to get the refills there wasn’t anyone at the stand. We waited for 30 minutes and were yelling for help. Still no one came. Then after our movie had ended we waited for more food and also for our ride. Then some guy came out of a room and told us that if we didn’t get out of the theatre right away he was calling the cops. We were four seventeen year old girls and the customer service was awful and they are not very nice. Every single employee was busy apparently. Never come here

After enjoying the beach, bicycling, and shopping there is nothing better than ending the evening with a movie. Northridge Cinemas is reasonably priced, has a bar area (for the grownups), and is equipped with comfortable, reclining seats. Northridge Cinemas has a welcoming environment for both tourists and locals. When Im @ Hilton Head, I always go there for a pleasurable, cinematic experience.

What I like about this place is that ot feels like you are going to the movies in the 80s. Small cinema located in Hilton Head with comfy sits and yes a small soda that it is actually the correct size. You can also.order wine, pizza, burgers, etc.

Wow! This is such a lovely cinema! Tucked at the end of a strip mall in Hilton Head, it is clean and nice, with reserved seating. We came in at 1230, and were given matinee prices of $6.51...amazing, and then went into Theater 2 and realized we were given reclining armchair seats! Very comfortable, good sound and picture, and the bathrooms were incredibly nice and well stocked, very upscale. I did not get popcorn, but a guy before me did and said it was very good, and I saw a popcorn fixing stand with about 6 different flavors to sprinkle on. This does not seem to be a chain as far as I knew (not AMC, Regal or Cinemark), but was just so very nice!!

Seats comfy. Ordered drinks, after paying, the cashier commented that the bartender might materialize which he did barely in time for movie to start. Fam found theater filthy.

We went, to the theatre, as a group, we called ahead of time and they had our popcorn and soda cups ready. The staff spoke and were nice but werent smiley friendly, lol. The theatres were clean, cozy, and a nice temperature. The bathrooms were clean and the children enjoyed the game room. Plenty of parking close by and some stores, to do a little shopping.

The theater was clean and the seats were roomy and comfortable. The reclining feature made the movie going experience, even more enjoyable. The restrooms could use some updating and seat covers would be greatly appreciated. I will say that there was ample tissue, soap and paper towels, so kudos for providing the necessities.

The one positive about this theater is that the seats recline. Dont use your credit card at the window.

Clean and reasonable prices

I really enjoy all of the food and drink options here. The movie selection and prices are also very fair, especially without having to leave the island. My only critique, is that the seating is starting to become a bit dated, and the seating was also a bit dirty. All in all we still definitely enjoyed our experience.

The theaters are small so every seat is good. Very large cozy reclining seats with plenty of leg room. Concessions pretty normal, not cheap but not exhorbitant. Good sound and picture quality

If I could give no stars I would and its not because of staff. Staff was great and tried to help. The problem was the people in the movie. Really rude teen-agers that were texting and talking and taking pictures with flash and Unfortunately that made this the WORST movie going experience I have ever had. Really a bummer. We left early and Im bummed. Oh well. Note to self... Dont go to the movies in a small town. People dont know how to behave in a crowded movie theater in small towns. Too bad.

Powered reclining seats with drink holders and wide aisles. Good sound, preselected seating with reduced size theaters was nice. Only problem was, when quiet moment came in theater 2, A Star Is Born, we could hear the action show next door in theater 3.

The box office is set up as self serve. The service people are genuinely nice. Seems like an older theater but the seats are the recliner type. Popcorn is decent and the prices are more reasonable than at home. Yes I will be back!

It was good for the what it was it did have reclining seats.

This place needs to make some improvements. This new policy where you have to book your seats ahead of time has freed up our time at the ticket office. However, the concession line is longer than ever. Also, there is a processing fee to book seats online so unless you want to make 2 trips to the theater, you pay extra money per ticket.They advertise all this great food other than popcorn. The sandwiches are gross. Taste like they are microwaved out of the freezer. The popcorn was being popped while we ordered but tasted stale. I personally don’t like Pepsi products.The theater we were in was run down. The seats were ripped and covered with electrical tape. It obviously wasn’t cleaned between showings as there was trash on the seats and in the cup holders. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. There was also a weird humming noise that could be heard frequently when the movie got quiet.

The guys at the front desk were extremely helpful when I saw Hellboy2019(mediocre movie) they let me keep the tickets for my friends behind the counter and were very talkative of the movies. Great customer service and clean auditoriums. So glad this has been my movie theater since a kid.

Seats and popcorn were great. Theater was dirty. Kind of confused about seating. We bought online...says to go to a kiosk, but you dont have to do that. I did like the refills on soda and popcorn.

Never been to a theater where I can hear other movies around me while trying to enjoy mine. Concessions closed 15 minutes into our movie (it was the last showing, but still disappointing) would not recommend.

Great, little theater on Hilton Head Island. I think it would be accurate to describe this theater as indie. It has a few quirks and benefits -- which is kind of the hallmark of a good, locally run cinema. Here are some noteworthy things:First, its in a shopping plaza and not exactly well marked. If you didnt know where to look for it (thank you modern technology) you might not even know it was in the shopping center you were driving aimlessly around.Second, sometimes there is no one manning the ticket booth. You have to walk in and then turn immediately around and go inside the ticket booth itself and operate the payment kiosk as self-service. Weird but whatever. You can get the tickets at the concession stand instead if youre going to be getting anything.Third, speaking of concessions, you get unlimited drink and popcorn refills if you get the *large* size of them.Fourth, I dont know about all of the screens, but #5 definitely had the recliner seats that are push-button controlled. Nice. Dont worry about the fabric tape holding the seat together. It still works just fine.

My favorite movie theater. I love the leather recliners and its never freezing cold like most theaters. They have more than just popcorn and candy, like pretzels and nachos and chili cheese fries. And they have a beer and wine bar.

Great way to spend an afternoon. Good prices for both tickets and snacks. Seats are the lounger types-getting a little worn, but still provide for a comfortable viewing experience.Sound system is good, too.

It was good though, when there little cinema video was there to tell you the movie is about to start the light flicker and my daughter got scared. There were barely any people so if you like to be alone you can go and there possibly be no one there.

Great experience for a tourist. But the food for the most part is too small. Prices for food isnt publicly listed which is a no no. The games they have possess a im not responsible if you lose money to a broken machine policy. Some of the machines just happen to eat quarters. Which is a big no no and borderline scam. Fantastic if you want a theater to yourself but genuinely fishy.

Theater was clean. There were alot of goodies and specialties available. Comfortable benches available while waiting for your movie throughout the lobby. Enjoyable outing.

Modern theatre on Hilton Head Island. Theatre has first run movies. There are 10 cinemas. All seats are assigned and have to be selected in advance. Seats are leather and have a button to recline the back and elevate feet to the perfect position far your comfort level. There are $6 matinees on Tuesdays. Theatre and bathrooms were clean. They also have a few games, popcorn and snacks. 5 stars.

Love this theater, its small and friendly. Their snacks are reasonably priced and they have a full bar you can take advantage of. They have reclining chairs and you can also select where you want to seat in the theater.

The ticketing process is a bit weird. We had to get our pre-purchased tickets at concessions, and the guy behind the counter seemed a bit annoyed that we didnt understand the ticketing process. Other than that, the seats are super comfy! Concessions has giant popcorn seasoning containers (yes they have white cheddar!!), and self serve pop machines, so mid movie refills are super quick!

Good movie; theater in process of upgrading seats which are spacious and comfortable. HOWEVER, dont buy the nachos unless you check the expiration date. Today is Oct. 17 and the nachos (in a bag) were stamped with an expiration date of Aug. 23, 2017. They were stale and inedible. I trashed them (the movie had started) and after the movie took the bag to the concession stand. I told one clerk that they should get rid of that batch and give people fresh nachos. I didnt ask for a refund, and they didnt offer... I just wanted to deliver a message. Then another wise-@$$ concession clerk said Oh, thats the date we received those. GIVE ME A BREAK -- so the delivery truck sits out there and stamps the bags with the date you receive them? They must think their clientele are gullible idiots. Lost my future business.

Best thing about this theater is the very affordable Price for very comfortable leather recliners. They also now carry alcoholic beverages for those interested.They do need to clean the chairs more completely. I had popcorn scattered throughout my chairs for all 3 movies that we attended.

When we got there is was completely chaos, first I bought the tickets for the movie online and there was no one at the ticket counter and then I to show my ticket to the girl, who is selling popcorn and soda to redeem it, she was defiantly multi tasking, its too much going on at one counter although they do the same thing at cinemark in Bluffton it just sucks if youre behind the counter.

Seating was uncomfortable. Security were moving people around the wholenm9vie because it was over bookes.

If you plan on seeing a movie there show up 45 minutes early. They are now selling alcohol. If they had a cash register in the bar room this wouldnt be a problem, but the cashier has to close the cash register and walk into the bar to get the alcohol, leaving all the people looking for tickets and soft drinks waiting. Took forever to get a ticket.

No stairs! Was super cool to sit at the top with my mom because you come in from the top of the auditorium.

Unfortunately did not have the best experience here, our first visit. Purchased our 2 tickets and selected our reserved seats at 11:20 am online for the 1 pm show. We were unable to print our tickets prior to arrival as we are at a rental without a printer. Arrived 10 minutes prior to the show to absolute chaos in the lobby. The ticket booth was only accessible from inside and self serve only. Directional signage was limited, very small or on low stands that were hard to see in the crowd. The lines to both the ticket booth & concessions were 20 deep. Many were unfamiliar with how to use the self serve ticketing, holding up the line.We finally were able to print tickets & get into the full theater where previews were playing. We did not buy any concessions as the line was too long. Our seats were taken & the people in them refused to move. The theater employee finally stopped the previews, turned on the lights and attempted to seat those of us who had tickets as we were not the only ones. He finally blamed Fandango for overselling tickets. After reading reviews it seems this is a recurring problem. We were finally seated after people agreed to move over to allow us 2 seats.After the movie we attempted to use the bathrooms....nope...lines way too long.Never again!

UPDATED - Very nice theater with reclining seats (most seats have been damaged) and quick concession lines. Best place Ive been to see movies. Lost one star because of the bright lights on each of the chairs cup holders that cannot be turned off. THEY STARTED ASSIGNED SEATING AND NOBODY SEEMS TO BE HAPPY ABOUUT IT. I GOT ASKED FOR MY TICKET TO CHECK MY SEAT NUMBERS. WAS TOLD MY DAUGHTER HAD TO MOVE ONE SEAT OVER... THERE WERE LIKE 10 PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE!?!?!

Not the best experience. You have to enter the theater and go into the front ticket booth to purchase your own tickets. No staff, just pads to make your purchase...what happened to sales service. Plus the seats have blue LED lights that stay on. Not great when you wear glasses. Plus an additional cup LED button your arm will rest on and constantly activate additional lights. Otherwise great.
