We had the most AMAZING fishing trip with Captain Chris!!! We caught King Mackerel, Cobia, Barracuda, and a 7ft/ 400lb Bull Shark!!! Absolutely unforgettable experience! We will definitely be booking with Coolcats again!! Thanks Captain Chris!!

I had never done a fishing charter before, and so I didnt know exactly what to expect. But, whatever my expectations could have been, they were exceeded. First, Captain Chris is just a really good guy. Smart, nuanced, funny, and extraordinarily helpful. My friend and I had our 4 boys there, and Chris was very patient with them as he helped them reel in various kinds of fish. Both my son and my friends son caught small sharks! Chris answered all of our questions about fishing in the area, the different types of fish, how to fish them, etc. The boat is very clean and safe, which should of course go without saying. And, we caught some great stuff...the highlight being the first King Mackerel in Hilton Head of the season. I cant recommend Chris and Cool Cat enough.

Chris is a great Captain and a even better man, we enjoy coming down every single year to fish with him and ALWAYS catch loads of fish, Massive Bull Reds, Cobia, Massive Sharks, Snapper and the whole lot! We will always use Chris and only Chris, 4yrs strong and many more trips to come - Hunter

GREAT FAMILY FISHING TRIP................What a GREAT family fishing trip!!! Capt Chris AKA Bubba is probably one of the friendliest and accommodating captains weve experienced. We booked a trip for 2 adults and 2 kids (boy-13 & girl-6) for an inshore catch anything kind of trip. We told him we were bringing our 6 year old daughter and he brought along his daughter and the two of them had a blast. The kids decided on shark fishing and we were NOT disappointed. We hooked up on some HUGE ones including one that he pulled anchor and chased down with the boat to keep the fish on.Capt Chris is VERY knowledgeable about the local waters and the fishing and based on the radio chatter, very popular with other charter captains. He provides all bait and equipment, just bring your own drinks, snacks and sunscreen.Not a boring moment on the trip. Lots of laughs even during slow times between bites. Cant wait to go back.

Captain Chris is the man! My partner and I had no previous experience fishing and with his help caught three large sharks!! We had many other “bites” from other large catches as well. Chris is so sweet and personable and we cannot wait to take our families back!! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed and do not want to miss out on this fun and crazy experience!!

Captain Chris was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. Not to mention filled with laughs. We caught three large sharks on our morning trip and my fiancé and I loved every minute of it! Two black tips and tough bonnethead. Chris even had some remedies for some mild sea sickness. The sharks are treated humanely and released back to the sea. I highly recommend This particular shark fishing charter and captain.

Chris aka Bubba does a great job for a one man crew.Got us out 5 miles and we hit immediately on numerous sharks. Blacktips, Flat nose and a few Bonnet heads, all in the first 90 minutes. We also had a 125-150 lb Tarpon hit so hard it backlashed a braided line on full drag but snapped the line. Great time!
