Wasn’t the best choice on our part with not knowing how difficult the courses we’re so maybe not too kid friendly BUT my child was free since he was 5. So keep that in mind that the courses are difficult and lots of water holes. I’m a Christian but wasn’t sure if the motive of all the Bible verses. Employees weren’t wearing masks as well. They did have give away a for hole-in-ones. There were speakers but no music was playing. The family in front of us also had issues with loosing balls down in the waters... one got stuck in a pipe too. Nothing necessarily bad to report but it was super challenging and just an odd atmosphere. We want to Pirates Cove the night before and loved it!

The best and most challenging miniature golf course weve been to in quite some time. It was clean, and well maintained. We bought the all day pass and enjoyed several hours here. We loved the Bible verses and positivity quotes at each hole. Great fun, great price, and great environment!

This place was beautiful and super well kept. The holes were challenging but fun. The owner was super friendly and seemed proud to support military members. We travel a lot and play mini golf everywhere we go, and this is probably our favorite place now.

Loved it! The owner was friendly as she greeted you along with her little dog. There are two options of courses available, one being a little more difficult than the other. The courses were clean and well maintained with positive Scripture verses posted at each hole. At the end, if you got a hole in one, you received a little prize, such as ice cream or a drink. We will definitely go back on next trip to Hilton Head. Highly recommend!!!

Our family had a great time playing at Legendary Golf! I was originally skeptical given the price was higher than I expected ($14 for 1 game, $16 for 2). The course quality made the price completely worth it! This course has multiple water hazards on the course, which makes for an exciting challenge. The posts on the course also have bible verses and quotes from reputable Christian theologians, which is also great! This was the best putt-putt course I’ve ever been to. We will definitely be back if we are in Hilton Head again!

We decided to ride our Onewheels to Legendary Golf. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and said they would be with us shortly as they were helping another guest. We bought 36 holes and they informed us that if we didn’t finish we could come back and there is no expiration! I thought that was pretty neat as I’m sure they get so much business so to care about your customers and take care of them is awesome! They let us park our Onewheels in the office area while we played. The courses were like none I’ve played before. I liked the detail of the courses. They were super nice as we were leaving & had drinks/ice cream to buy as well. We definitely recommend coming here while on vacation!

Very sweet lady and her lovely dog run this place! We got rained out and she gave us a rain check!! Had water hole on the course...first time we had seen that, and we did the easy side! Definitely recommend this place to take the kids or family for a fun outing in Hilton head.

Excellent mini golf course! The holes are challenging and mimic holes from full sized golf courses. The place is charming and tucked away in the woods. I also highly recommend the ice cream (which you can get for free if you score a hole in one!)

I’ve not done a ton of mini putt golf but I have to say this place was super fun. What I liked about it was that the course wasn’t kitchy with obstacles and silly stuff. It was actually well thought out and quite a challenge which made it fun for everyone. There’s a few other putt putt places near this but I’d tell you to give this a place a try first you Will for sure have fun.

This place is awesome! Super friendly staff, great courses, very fun! We played both courses and had a very fun time on both! There are also cool rewards for getting a hole in one on different holes! We had a blast and this is definitely our favorite mini golf course in Hilton Head!

From our survey of HHI miniature golf courses this seemed to be the best on the island. I can’t confirm or refute that, but I can say that it’s a decent course. I have played on nicer and more difficult courses, however.My wife and I played the 2 courses back to back. It was an enjoyable time. I do recommend doing that as it was like $4 additional to play the second course.My wife and I both really liked the atmosphere here. It is clearly a Christian-owned property as every hole has either a Bible verse or a Christian thought leader quotation posted at the tee box. While I realize this may not be everybody’s cup of tea, for my wife and I it is a clear positive feature.We played in September, so it was off peak season. There was nothing I could see in the way of hotdogs or popcorn or anything like that, but I’m not sure what they do during peak season. So you may not want to plan on a lunch here unless you bring your own food. Regardless, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.They did warn us there was a small alligator in one of the water hazards, but we never did see it.All in all, this is a family-friendly, well run miniature golf complex. He’s a great way to spend a couple hours and it was fun for all. We would come back here again if we were looking for some miniature golf on the island.

There are plentiful decorations here, like pools of water, palm trees, and fountains. The location’s two courses are mostly underneath large trees, giving players shade during hot days. This location offers two types of 18 hole courses: the regular difficulty Professional course, and the extra difficult Championship course. These two courses offer a great challenge to both beginners and experts!The courses contain a number of miniature hazards for even more challenge. Small patches of rough grass, water pools, rock piles, and sand bunkers (not real sand, though) fill the courses. The course designers indeed wanted to create a mini golf course that had similar features as a full-scale golf course!Each course also presents a significant Bible verse or the inspiring Biblical thoughts of individuals. It is interesting how the owner of this location uses mini golf to spread the gospel!

The courses are fun. The scenery is beautiful. The employees are awesome. This is our favorite mini golfing spot on the island.

We visited Legendary Golf yesterday. This is our first visit to Hilton Head. The staff was great. Friendly, very welcoming. The grounds were well attended. The greens were not worn out like many places we have played before.Most other beach mini-golfs we have been to we’re more flashy. This is set up kind of like a real course with “Sand traps, rough, water hazards” . We chose the all day pass which allowed us to play, go eat and come back to play more.I don’t know that we will get to go back this trip, but it will definitely be our place to return to next visit!

After reading the other reviews, I feel as though I must have gone on the wrong day, course or something. The course was strewn with leaves, pine cones, sticks, pine needles, etc... making any attempt at actually trying to putt a joke. On one hole, I counted 17 sticks and branches and on another 9 pine cones... Remember these surfaces are the size of a small bedroom. It was ridiciulous. When I brought it to the staffs attention( 2 young people looking at their phones and computer), I was told, Thank you, Sir... While originally nice, and its appearance from the road is good, the place is in need of an upgrade with rotten wood causing the ball to get stuck between the wood border and putting surface. I know this is only mini golf, but for 14 dollars each, I expected better...

We made two trips to Legendary Golf during our week at HHI, and one to another mini golf business. Legendary Golf was tops by far in condition and the friendliness of the staff! Do yourself a favor and visit here, you will not be disappointed!

Legendary golf is the best put-put course I have ever been to. There is scripture and inspirational quotes at every hole. The price is not crazy expensive and it has a live baby alligator.

Great place for a family fun night. Veteran-Friendly business that I was humbled and surprised to find out that I played for free because my military service (they also have details about this on their website). Very fun course to play on that offered two different 18 hole courses for the Professional or Championship player. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun activity while in Hilton Head.

This is truly an amazingly beautiful and fantastic miniature golf course! Love the Bible verses at each hole! The course is by far the most beautiful miniature golf Ive ever been to! The owners and employees are all very friendly! The way they have recently handled the baby alligator (caught him and relocated on their own after the horrible experience with the last gator they reached out for help with) was more than going above and beyond helping bring our community together!

Great spot. Played in 45-60 mins and our 18 month old had a blast. The lady at the front was really sweet. Definitely recommend for a bit of family fun.

This is by far one of the best putt putt courses on Hilton head. I tried pirates island and legendary golf to see how they compare. Legendary golf is amazing and the holes are unique and one of a kind. I got a free pretzel for a hole in one on 16 definitely go to legendary golf.

This is the most challenging miniature golf course Ive ever been to. They had two 18 hole courses and both were just amazing. We played three rounds before we left. There were sand traps, rough, rocks and water features to play around for each hole. They have fabulous military discounts.

Wow, the Champion Course was hard, however, super fun! Loved all of the water and sand hazards, they added a fun element to the course. The staff was friendly and everything was well maintained. The Bible verses and quotes by Christian authors was a nice touch at each hole. Will definitely be back during our next trip to HHI!

My wife and I had a wonderful time!! The staff was extremely friendly and the grounds were meticulously kept. We opted for the all day play which is a great value and were able to come and go as we chose.

A great mini golf course (we chose the more difficult one, but still fun!). The course is also more shaded then others near by which is nice in the heat. And if you get a hole in one there are different prizes which I thought was awesome.

This is a favorite island activity for my wife and me; although, she beats me badly nearly every time! The owners are generous with their prizes. The course is quite challenging with both water and gravel traps. The beautiful wooded area keeps most of the course shaded all day. Enjoy!

The fine establishment proudly boasts two different courses: Professional(Easy) and Champion(Hard). That being said, there isnt a large difference between the two, having a par 52 and 60, respectively. Both are courses are extremely picturesque. With that in mind, the surroundings as a whole are perfect for a great time. The establishment is well kept and all around great. The best trait, the greatness of the courses, is also the downfall as it attracts long lines and you will typically wait. Overall, the place is amazing. Highly recommended.

I have been visiting Hilton head since I was little— we always play mini golf but we ALWAYS come back to Legendary! This was my first time back post COVID and the staff was as amazing as ever— Ryan, Tyler, and Don ensured safety for all patrons, while providing wonderful customer service and elevating our experience. We had such a wonderful time and look forward to coming back before we head home. What a wonderful spot to make memories!

We have played every other course on the island, and this was our first time at Legendary Golf. The course was in pristine condition. The turf was excellent, and the freshly redone landscaping is beautiful.The courses were challenging, but that made it all the more fun. We also certainly appreciated the police discount!The staff were very friendly, and we had a great conversation.The hole in one prizes made it even more exciting. We will certainly be back!

We had a great family outing here! The terrain around the holes is beautiful as they kept the natural beauty to be kept intact. We had fun playing as the holes were challenging but also ones the kids enjoyed doing as well. Our boys are 6 and 8 and they loved this place!

We recently played this course with our family. It was very clean and family friendly! All clubs and equipment are sanitized. It is large enough that you do not feel cramped at all. The Individuals who work at the course were super welcoming to us! I highly recommend it.

This was such a a fun putt-putt location. It’s very affordable for a full 36 holes! Be warned that it is legitimately miniature golf, with plenty of water and sand traps. But the difficulty only brought more laughter to our family. It isn’t as themed as other places near by (read no pirate ships or fun characters), but it has a unique type of fun! If you score a hole-in-one, be sure to show the cashier when you turn in your balls/clubs as prizes are involved. It definitely gets crowded at night, so if you want to do all 36 holes, I suggest going around or before 6pm!

My experience here was quite bad. The lighting was poor; you could hardly see the hole. The holes themselves were uncreative and boring, as well as several of them being disrupted by broken stones and props. The water traps were pointless and frustrating, and despite having plexiglass screens, none of the employees wore masks. Not to mention the Christian quotes covering the whole course. I myself am not a Christian, and like me, not all people want to see Christianity quotes when theyre just trying to go golfing and have a good time. And Im not sure about you, but I dont particularly want to be golfing next to a live gator. I wouldve given a no stars if I couldve.

Difficult holes - what a nice course. However, city law requires mask wearing of patrons and employees. Employees are not wearing masks. Sign on the door requires customers to wear masks and most customers do a good job wearing masks while inside the building as you pay, etc..but no employees were wearing masks inside the building.

The workers and owners are such sweet people! They made us feel part of their family! They offer discounts to military! If you want to have an amazing experience and have an amazing service, visit them! We are going back next time we visit Hilton Head!

The best mini golf place I have ever been!! The best designed course I’ve been to too!!! They give you a trophy if you win and a gold ball if you lose! Ryan has the customer service of a heavenly angel!!! I love him!!! So friendly and kind! Can’t wait to come back! I would live in this forest wonderland if I could!!! We only made it through two holes when my son scraped his knee and melted down. The staff was so gracious! Icepack and a raincheck without even asking!!

Legendary was so much fun! And we played all 36 holes absolutely free just because we were military.The courses are set amidst large natural areas of trees, beautiful plants and water features.
