A very very interesting place. It feels like youre at a party in some old barn. Theres many great musicians visiting here and its free. Ive been here for both open mic and jazz night. Theres a very informal hippie-like atmosphere. Its a great place to meet locals as well

If you are looking for the funkiest, most eclectic dive bar in town, this is it!! No real seating downstairs as this joint is all about the players. It’s their jam and you are welcome to sit upstairs and eavesdrop. A great place to people watch as it is clear lots of locals come.Some competent playing but some real wandering wankery too - hey, it’s jazz! We left after the 4th song as it’s not really our scene.By donation, $5.00 drinks.

The owner Bub is one of the most enthusiastic and compassionate people I have ever met in musical arts. He teaches music and hosts events at this venue for the community and beyond. Its a very groovy place worth checking out!

I sang At Last by Etta James and received applause, so on Monday Jazz night I considered singing again whern then I was PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED by the guitar player who told me I didnt know what I was doing and then roughly dragged out the door.. Losing a Slipper in the process. I am 67 and Arthritic. This is BEYOND WRONG. AVOID AVOID AVOID. plz help me to warn others about this. Mahalo Ke Akua I wasnt seriously injured.
