We attended a BBQ under the pavilion there and it was so hot! The roof kept the heat in. Next time well have to bring a fan to keep cool if we hold another one there. The small playground and huge tunnel was perfect for the kiddos, the hill was a huge hit for ice blocking. My kids finally found how to turn on the water and thats when they started to cool off and have fun. With a smaller parking lot, it was not too busy on a Friday night so it worked great for our large party. We never used the restrooms while there, but the water fountain was used often!

This park has a great pavilion for gatherings and parties, right next to the parking lot, a playground and bathroom. Just down the hill are some aoccer goals and plenty of grass space for outdoor games. A small baseball diamond is on the far side with its own small parking lot. You can park in either and go for a bike or run on the Murdock Canal trail which runs on the north edge of the park. Also next to the bathrooms is a sand volleyball court, though the sand is shallow and generally rough. Overall great park.

This park is awesome! It’s huge, well-maintained, good for families or reunions. There’s a good walking/jogging/horse riding trail and it’s dog friendly.

This pavilion is a secret gem. Perfect for parties, and there is enough room and entertainment for the kids to enjoy themselves too. The pavilion has beautiful beams and is nice enough to hold a small wedding, reception, or dinner.

I have been here a lot for group activities. It seems as though no matter what activity you are doing, Mitchell Hollow is a convenience for it. There is an open field, a baseball diamond, a playground, a small gathering of trees, a pavilion, everything you could ever ask for.

This park is a great spot for a picnic lunch. It is close to my work and our kids school so it works great for a lunch meetup with the family. There are a number of picnic tables with grills scattered around the park.

Very good chinese food, with good variety. I didnt get very full with even a two entree and one side meal, but that may say more about how hungry I was than the actual amount of food, which is a pretty good amount. Good option of indoor or outdoor seating, smells great when you enter.

Nice park. Grass is always really long though. So it’s not the best for soccer games/practice.

The park is very open and well kept. There is a nice party/gathering area under a roof, as well as water fountains, trash cans, and full bathrooms. There are also other single picnic tables close by. Its right next to the Murdoch Canal trail, which is popular for biking. The fields are large and open. There is lots of parking available on the other side of the road, through a tunnel. I love coming here at any time to take walks around the area.

Nice little park. We had a family reunion there and it had the basics: bathrooms, a good sized pavilion, a small playground for the kids and grass. The parking was sufficient since it wasnt at all busy. And it was close to the pavilion, which was a plus.

They just added some parking across the street and built up some nice trail systems. Really developed into a nice park, that is surprisingly quiet and open!

The walking trail should go around the park entirely but it doesnt it cuts through the playground in the busy area and then only makes a very small walk around trail whereas it would be huge if it went around the whole park.
