Very disappointed. How the rules for the covid 19. Was not being followed. Not just using every other lane had people all on top of each other. Never seen the first employee sanitizing anything. When I approached a staff member about so many people beside me I was told sorry there is nothing we can do . Really you could have followed the rules . And used every other lane . I mean really.

Had a really fun family night of bowling until closing and the drunks came out.... My lane kept eating my balls and and the next lane the belt kept breaking on the ball return. The prices were more expensive then when I was going back in the day. Over all I will go back because I enjoyed myself.

We took our toddler and she had a blast! Staff was friendly and quick, they have drinks and snacks onsite and the building was clean.

Great time every visit, nice renovations and great atmosphere.

We met some family there to play a little and had a blast. Their food is decent and they have alcohol drinks. My son is 4 so since he couldnt lift the ball they got him a ramp to roll the ball down ánd I think he liked it! Overall we had a great time cant wait to go back. I wish the seating was how it use to be honestly.

Midnight bowling stopped serving beer 930 and food 10 oclock. Just started at 9. Disappointing.

We had a good night at the New Years Eve Cosmic party. Only thing I dislike is that if we doing Cosmic Party I was hoping they played more current music and showed the videos on the pull down screen. Them playing 80s music all night kind of killed the vibe.

The price was crazy. I know it has been a while since I have been bowling but that was outrageous. The game center was absurd. Most of the games were broke down or out of order. I do not understand the cost and most of the games not working. Also we needed the assistant with the bowl for a small child. All of them were in horrible shape. They all need repair. If you are going to charge so much then all the equipment should be in better working order.

Its a great place to go

This is my first time writing a review. My experience was so bad that it made me do it. Yesterday I had my worst experience ever, I come here once a week and I was so excited to eat here. For the first time I sat near the kitchen and as I was waiting I saw the employees grabbing fries off a plate. I was scared that one was going to be my plate. Sadly it ended up being mine I was really disappointed because this was my favorite place to eat but not anymore. If you ever think of eating in this place you should know that you are going to share your plate with all the employees in the kitchen. DISGUSTING!!!

We went this week on Monday for my stepdaughters birthday. They had a special for pizza and bowling and shoes for two hours. There was 10 of us. The lady running the kitchen, bless her heart. I didnt get her name but she was working her butt off trying to get food to our table and everyone elses. I hope her boss reads this and commends her bc she went above and beyond. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Would certainly recommend!

It was my first time there, went there with a friend. They have a special for the day $8 for 2 hours or 3 games which one first . Plus slice of pizza and a drink. There were a few issues with the scoring that messed up but they fixed quickly. Definitely recommend going for some fun with friends.

Nice tables to sit and watch the grandkid bowl in a league. He has a great coach I think his name is Ira great older man with patience of Jesus. Will be back for sure. The pickle chips are very sour and hot chips are great. Just wish they had some regular salt for fries and not season salt.

Good food and has good business

My daughter and I visited here on Labor Day when they had their $2 special. We had an awesome time! We played two games for only $12 with shoe rentals! Even when they’re not running a special they’re still a great deal. And my daughter and I absolutely love bowling. We will be taking a trip back soon!

Nothing fancy here, just a very plain bowling alley. Prices are very affordable, and they do have a bar and an arcade. For the most part, the staff is friendly.

I do love this place! Tried a different local bowling place (in Greensboro) and although it looked beautiful the service was terrible and I never got to bowl. HPB always has friendly people working, the food and drinks are good and not overpriced. The other bowlers have always been a laid back, nice crowd too.

Came in for the “cosmic” bowling experience while we were in town. I was highly disappointed!! Played nothing but country music the whole time and slow songs. No wonder why it was empty. The advertising for this on their website is very misleading. At least the bowling alley near our home in S.C. has a live DJ every Saturday night and they play up beat music to make you want to have fun not sleep. I found myself nodding off while waiting for my turn here at High Point. My kids had fun which is the only the reason they are getting a two star rating.

I like that bowling alley Lanes dont ever seem to get stuck that much they always got a variety of different balls to use and its never too overcrowded to where you cant get a lane, but still busy enough to have some action going on in there and see some people

I went there with my family that was visiting from out of town. It was fun. It was the weekend and we were not aware that we needed to make a reservation. We were able to get two lanes after waiting. The vibes was great and we had a lot of fun. My nephew was able to beat us every time.

I think that the issue at the High Point Bowling Center is the apathy. The bowling center is a good activity but the service wasnt the best. I would like to give a solution to the problem... there needs to be some type of staff that comes out regularly and checks on the customer. There was nobody on the floor. I could go on and on but i would like to talk to management.

Exceptional experience tonight!!! Staff is super accomodating and let us move lanes to keep from being directly under a speaker for my elderly mother; not just let us change lanes but reassured our party of 6 that they were more than happy to ensure we had the best experience possible. Having a great time and my mom is so happy!!! Thank you for going out of your way to ensure we enjoyed our evening!!! Facilities are super clean and no stinky shoes...lol...new to High Point and we have definitely found our new hangout spot!!!

Fun place to bowl. Not nearly as pricey as AMF. Ive only been during the day. Food is good if you can get a waitress who is paying attention. Ive never had a correct order but whatever they bring out is usually pretty tasty and priced well.

Since the new owners took over a couple of years ago they have completely changed the center around. My wife and I first wen there 10 years ago and it was awful. We did not go back until we heard that a new group had purchased the center. All of the owners are avid bowlers. Theyve spent a great deal of money fixing the place. Theyve put in new scoring system, new screens, completely renovated the attached restaurant, renovated the bathrooms, replaced the tables and chairs, put new brick tile work on the walls, replaced the carpet and flooring, and have also replaced the masking units. In addition they have recently brought in a fantastic new pro shop owner (Ralphs Pro Shop) and expanded the pro shop space. Theyve done so much that Im certain I have forgotten some of the things theyve done!They also have a fantastic team of employees. Very friendly, helpful, and almost all of the employees are avid bowlers and willing to offer advice to anyone who asks.Please ignore the reviews from 3 years ago. It simply is not that type of atmosphere anymore. It is an incredible center and practically my second home at this point.

Had my daughter birthday here. They charged me a couple of hundred dollars. Really dont supply anything. I didnt even have someone to serve my party. My mom and I did it all.

Daughter celebrated her 18th Birthday here and her classmates all enjoyed themselves. The grill was very busy but the staff always made sure to keep us updated on the status of their food. Food came out perfect! I think the teens may return in the future just to hang out and have fun.

Old house with faulty equipment owned by folks that seem interested only in the money it makes. Cant keep a good pro shop. It is only open occasionally and rarely at peak hours when most needed.Guess when there is no competition in the area no need to keep things in good repair

My wife has bad allergies. At the front door folks stand around smoking so you cant enter or exit without going thru a haze of smoke which bothers the wife. It also drags the smome into the building everytime the front door opens. What is the point of allowing it right there? Everything else was great, good prices, nice staff, clean inside, etc. but we wont be back for a long while and wont stop if we see smokers at the door.

With it being the only olbowling alley in hp Im still surprised just at how well they really are. Our bowling ball got stuck in the gutter and we didnt even have to call for hell the young lady had seen it and was on her way. Really amazing

The place is conveniently located, and a nice looking building with good parking. The staff was friendly and acted quickly to serve us, exchanging our shoes when we got a size too small, and when we realized we needed the bumpers put up for our child, it was done in about a minute.They had a tournament of some sort going on at one end of the building, but it was taking up less than half the lanes. I was aggravated, then, when they put us right beside a large group who were bowling. They dont have the usual seats you see in a bowling alley, but regular seats and tables like you find in a restaurant. This didnt allow for a feel of separation, and gave us nowhere to store our valuables while we bowled. THEN, another family of four showed up, and they put that family on the other side of us. The first four lanes ended up having large groups in each lane, and we were needlessly crowded since there were 10 open lanes. Maybe they had their reasons, but it was very crowded.The game room needs some work. Two pool tables, which is nice, but on has a cue ball with a huge chunk missing out if it. They cant cost that much to replace. Almost everything else is either out of order or a crane game. Its sub-par due to its neglect.

Lady turn off all the arcade hour before closing. Made it all dark and ruin our experience

Great, they need more beer distributors though, took like 15 min to get our beers. She definitely needed help.

Great place bowling

Came in with my husband and 2 sons. I sent my son to the snack bar to inquire how much a bag of popcorn is and how big the bag is. He brought the bag back and then gave him the ok to get a bag. He comes back with the bag half full, so I apprached the girl working the snack bar and asked her to fill it up. She said no. So my husband goes up to ask why, and the girl took the bag, filled it up and before he could thank her, she opened the register and threw the money at him and walked away. Needless to say, we won’t come back ever again. Rating should be no stars but I’m forced to select 1 star.

We came for the Wednesday 8 dollar cover charge 25 cent pizza, bowling and drinks. The drinks are the size of a bathroom rinse cup for kids. The pizza is 1/8 of a slice. I never got my order of wings that I payed for. They put us on a lane. When we finished the first game some man, I assume the manager, came up to us and said we need these lanes, you have to move or leave. The deal is from 4pm to 11pm. We just payed 60 dollars just for the cover charge. I said yes we are a bowling more. Then he had an attitude with us and moved us to another lane. Horrible deal, employees and manager. SAVE your money and time.
