Had to do a last-minute party and it ended up turning out great! All the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that her birthday party was a success! Happy babies equal a Happy Mama!!!

Had a great time and relearned how to roller skate again. The only thing was that our scheduled birthday time was really short. We didn’t have much time to skate outside of the birthday celebration time. Otherwise it was really fun and will try and come back again.

Great family friendly atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean. The price was reasonable. My kids and nieces had a blast. Great place for fun family exercise. They have snacks for sale. They play games for you to win prizes and you can also have birthday parties.

Me and my children attend this place for a birthday party for my nephew. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with getting us everything we needed to get all kids on wheels and having fun. The facility is clean, maybe a tad outdated but very functional. All of my kids have asked to go there again so we will return.

Fun, safe place to go skating. They have snacks you can get, and the rink itself was very fun and enjoyable. I came here for a double date and we had a great time here.

Awful, Awful, Awful. The staff is so rude, and unattentive. Teenage kids probably 13 or so were fighting in the snack bar and on the floor while staff argued with them. If it were me, I’d personally kick them out for the sake of the other customers. This was my first time skating at the high point skating rink on South main, holing it would be anything like the old one North main but I was high mistaken. The floor was all but level. And don’t even think about getting anything to snack on at the snack bar, unsanitary. I stayed to get my moneys worth because the price was so high and I didn’t even want to argue getting a refund but I can promise I will not be back!

Do it for a birthday party with my 2-year-old granddaughter absolutely fabulous time

It was a kids night and well planned by the management.

Just had my son’s 6th birthday at Skate South and couldn’t have been better! All the kids AND ADULTS had a blast! The staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly. I didn’t expect them to help pass out cake etc but they did it automatically and that left me able to talk to guest and take plenty of pictures. The place was very clean also. Would definitely recommend them and would have more parties here myself!

Worst place ever staff is very rude!!!!!!!And they are very expensive poor place to go! I recommend google skating rinks around maybe another city close by! The owner must not care at all!

I have hosted a party here and been to a party here and both times, the staff were incredibly rude to the people giving the party. Would not recommend this skating rink. Use the one in Thomasville. Cheaper and nicer staff.

First time visiting was for a birthday party. Its a clean and orderly place. Although I do not agree with the Djs music choices. Third eye blinds song jumper in my opinion is not a skate song. The prices are fair, the restrooms are clean and they have lessons on Saturdays. Also they host parties.

Skate South is likely going out of business soon. Friday is their “big night” and they can’t even get 100 people in the door.Why?Well they chased all of the talent out with their ludicrous rules. You can’t skate at a decent pace without getting the grumpy elderly skateguard having words with you, but cut someone off or skate in the wrong direction and no one bats an eye.They don’t have races. Instead, they have a one song “speed skate” where you go as fast as you can, they put out cones, but there’s no winner. It makes no sense.And the floor is rough as heck. Too bad, it’s large enough and has a waxed wood surface.

There is virtually no air flow inside. They charge a lot for a short time allotment. They dont even let you skate backwards. There entertainment is so dry; she even seems bored of it. Hopefully I just came on a slow day...

My daughter loves going there to skate. Always a safe atmosphere and the staff if great.

Wow just wow! Lets start with the blades and skates...very worn and used. Our whole party had to swap skates several times! Quite a few were broken. While the place was clean its in need of love. Carpet torn, skating area half is rough and the other half is smooth. Snack bar: you cant have a lid or a straw because its a choke hazard but they sell this little light up things that you have to PUT IN YOUR MOUTH to work. Not thinking there. We bought the last bottled water but you can by a cup of water for 25 cents? Odd, but I get it you are a business. Staff: blowing whistles at people going fast but allowing folks to do stunts that are super close to the younger kids...shame. but I get it when the young boys that are suppose to be looking out for my childs safety are TOO busy DOING IT THEMSELVES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RINK! Needs a HUGE lift in professionalism when it comes to your staff. Well the manager came up to me and told me that she talked to him and handled it but shortly thereafter her staff was too busy showing off and doing stunts in the middle instead of truly paying attention to the other skaters and the younger skaters which from my understanding was their role. Sounds to me like youre getting screwed by paying children to do nothing. Very dissappointed. Plus the sign leaving...really!? It made me laugh. Its the exit No One can use! Hahaha

Went to a party and its was great . I didnt realize that you could have a party on Saturday and not even have anyone else there but the people in your party.

Clean & safe. Good for young kids & new skaters... They have walkers to help small kids & new skaters too.

My husband and I went skating last weekend. The staff seemed nice enough. We will not go back due to the floor. Either it needs to be replaced or sanded and refinished. the wood was bumpy. Not sure what happened to it. If it wasnt for the floor we would love to come back.

I love to skate here even tho Im not really good at skating this place has helping people to help you skate and have skating lesson which I thought was really cool

The experience is great but it would be better if the staff there was nice and didnt talk crap about everyone who walks in the door. Also in my opinion if you work at a skating rink your should be nice and curtious to the costumers at all times no matter if you guy have issues or not. I know two workers there named Tanya and Revlonda tend to scream and yell at kinds while they are working which is very rude and something needs to be done about that.

One of the employees there named revonda is extremly rude and disrespectfull to some of the children. Going as far as to single them out and bully them while they are just trying to enjoy good clean fun with friends and other kids!!

Outdated, was told that they didnt have change for $100 when I was paying to come in, then said theyd have to walk all the way to the back to get change. Skates and roller blades are old.

The floor need to be redone at this location. We would visit a lot more than we do now if they were redone. We are driving all the way to Greensboro because it is that bad.
