I have tried to give Shulas the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately no more. Golf carts arent clean and not fully charged. Twice already I had to call the pro shop to send someone to the hole Im playing because golf cart isnt charged. Tried calling for a tee time and I received a long winded message about extensions but no pro shop. If I want to make a tee time you must go to there website. This golf course has slowly but surely gotten worse. Look elsewhere everyone at least until they improve. Very disappointing experience.

Worst decor I have ever seen! And they kept lying to us about the heater! Miami was cold at this time and no one told us how to work the heater! Then finally they told us to turn it off and the heater was centralized so it should come on by itself which it never did! They brought us more blankets but our room was freezing every night! And hardly anyone spoke English! Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel by far! Only good thing about this hotel was the maid service was very accommodating.

The courses are all nice..The clubhouse caters to all members and the entire atmosphere is too serene and beautifully manicured.

Great golf course with very fair greens the Maintence is excellent and the staff is very helpful. One of my favorite places to golf.

The tee boxes are less than ideal, but the greens, where the real scoring takes place, are in good condition. For the money Shula’s is a great value.

Greens were punched whixh made it difficult to putt with any consistency. Otherwise it was good.

Very nice resort, would return. The size of that rooms were wonderful especially that bathroom. Restaurant onsite and staff friendly- we were very early to check due to our arrival and they quickly got our room serviced and ready.

This golf course if definitely a bang for the buck. It has a very entertaining layout and will challenge the ability to shape shots in order to post a good score. There are a lot of visuals off the back tees that will make you rething your strategy. From the front to the back 9 is like playing a different course as most of the water is concentrated on the back 9. The par 5s are reachable in 2 (if you are playing from the tees corresponding to your skill level) but will require 2 well placed shots given their layout. The greens this time a year are not in top shape but they still roll well (not slow) and the undulations will still provide a good break. Well worth it and definitely fun course to play.

Nice course, but what makes it 5 star is the service. From a GC its really great and they are great with kids being on the course with their Dads. They do for veterans as well and your Birthday with a free round. Shulas has become my favorite course in Miami.

Avoid this place. Its terrible. The course is great but the employees are terrible. and if you get rained out thier rules are there to make sure you cannot play the holes you paid for.

Fun course. The no excuses deal is a go to if youre staying at Shulas hotel. Everyone was laid back the starter even let me play an extra 9 because I had some extra time before my flight.

Probably my favorite course out here, well maintained, great food, amazing staff. Course always on point. Come on the right day at the right time you golfing for mid $30s.

Course is in good shape, unfortunately played after a scramble tournament & the greens were a little scruffy from the heavy use. Will be back again! Staff was polite & courteous!

Love this course!!! I always try and play a round when I’m in town visiting. This year the course was in moderate condition. The greens on some holes were in rough shape. The staff was friendly, but no beer cart. The course bathrooms were locked, so I took a leak on the side of the building. All in all, I’m never disappointed at shulas!

Shulas Golf Club is a favorite location in Miami Lakes.Shulas Steak House offers a great selection of perfectly cooked steaks, a location where to hold great events and a golf course that caters to guests and visitors, but also the community.Concert on the green is a favorite event in Town of Miami Lakes, and the photos submitted share the rare moments when -free of charge- residents attend concerts provided by the Cultural Committee.Highly recommend!

Today Customer Service! Driving range! Today we came to practice to driving range after driving all day from our trip to stretch and have a bit of fun. We bought a bucket of balls from the office. We tried to get balls out from the machine on the driving range with the code printed on receipt but it wasn’t working it was empty. Another family of 4 ppl were there and another men customer. We all waited and since office is a bit walk back one customer went to ask about it. The family of 4 just started grabbing balls from the driving range all around while nobody was hitting the balls. When that customer came back he told us just to take empty bucket and walk back to middle of driving range where collecting cart unattended, it was on the side of the road; full of balls and just to serve ourselves; since nobody was there helping. My husband and I “walked all the way back” there to collecting cart, we dipped each of us a bucket into collected balls and collected 70% of the buckets without counting the balls and walked all the way back to driving range. We wasted 20 minutes waiting without anyone showing up and apologize to “all of us on driving range” and resolving the situation. We walked back and were about to start hitting the balls 2 people on golf cart who work there Came to us without saying hello: just stared at us asking anything, for a bit until one said, give us ticket.... we showed the ticket he said you paid only for one and took the other bucket. Then he said you have to pay 5 dollars for this one.... we tried to tell him nobody was serving us here and the machine is empty, we are waiting for 20 min....and we didn’t even know how many balls is actually in one bucket we brought ... My husband then told him “wait then I need to ad more balls from one bucket to make completely full other bucket” what I paid for, then the Golf attendant just took the rest of the balls and drove away.The whole story I am telling because I am not used to this type of customer service. First, we should be greeted if possible with a smile and ask why we were taking balls from back there if that was a case,... secondly, for all the effort we did to serve ourselves to me is rude to take other bucket.We felt offended like we did something bad; for them not apologizing to us for waiting and for mashing being empty but they just assumed we took balls completely without paying which is not the case. Asking from us other bucket back or to pay 5 more dollars, since they never counted actual balls they left with us, they didn’t actually assured us at that moment, we have enough balls in the bucket, which we paid for, and also we had to go and collected them ourself from the collecting cart; if we go to deep discussion....And, especially that we were the only people who they asked to provide the ticket! But others who actually didn’t pay at all were able just hitting balls without disturbance, why they didn’t ask them too! Hope it’s clear!

My family and I visit here a few times a year for special occasions. We absolutely have an amazing time every time we go. The steaks melt in your mouth. Pricey, but worth it for a nice night out to celebrate or on a fancy date. Might run into celebs here on occasion that have reserved tables so making reservations in suggested.

The Senator course at Shulas Golf Club is a good quality layout, popular with local golfers. This tree-lined and open parkland course contains a variety of attractive holes and pleasant features, which should provide an enjoyable test of golf at a generally affordable rate. Worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time to spare.

My favourite good course when Im in Miami. Friendly staff and nice layout. The course is better maintained than 1,5 years ago. Greens are in very good condition. The only min was the toilet on the course. Was a mesh.

I love this golf course, it’s not complicated but challenging

Staff were very friendly. The course has 18 fun and challenging holes. The ball rolled well on the greens that are not yet in season. I would gladly play here again. Make sure to see the 1972 Dolphins perfect season memorabilia in the clubhouse.

Awesome lunch after actually going to Shulas Hotel for Grazio Millionaires workshop that was a scheduling mix up as per the front desk of the hotel. Husband and I dinned for lunch. Food great, prices economical, service excellent, and a super place to eat.

The back nine was very soggy and we had not had raim for awhile. The condition of the course has declined over the past few years.

Greens were soft and in good condition.Tee boxes need work. Fairways have a lot of unfilled divots. Layout is good and a fair test of golf.

We play there almost every week. The course is in very good shape and challenging, its probably one of the best in the area. Personnel is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Not one person in the bar area! The bartender was very sweet and polite!

The reason for my stay was my best friends wedding. The experience was quite disappointing as it was very unorganized, small details were overlooked and your preferred vendors should be totally re-evaluated.- The brides name was misspelled on door.- The coordinator did not attend the rehearsal. The mother of the bride did admit she told them not to come but you should know better! We practiced entering a completely different way than the day of the wedding. We’re lucky the confusion didn’t delay the wedding more than a few minutes.- There was also a table place at the arch of the ceremony space. It never should have been there. Disorganization was evident here. Thankfully I asked them to move it on my own. Where was the coordinator on this?- The coordinator was not around during the day and only one person came to check on the bridal party. We had to request water in the room, we had to find the florist to get the bouquets and boutonnières. Why wasn’t someone connecting the dots?- Your recommended photographer needs to work on her professionalism. She immediately made the bride anxious with her communication style. The bride wanted to get dressed and the photographer kept telling her to wait until she got all her shots. Show up earlier if your can’t do you job in a timely manner. You don’t make the bride wait for you. Making jokes about it doesn’t make things better.- The flowers from your vendor were amazing, really it was the only impressive work we saw from any vendor. Unfortunately their arch was poorly made. I have photos from the wedding showing the duct tape and plastic buckets that held up the arch. Why wasn’t this covered up???! This kind of work is unacceptable as these are in every photo from their ceremony. Reflects so poorly on your venue!- If you ever want to be a classy venue, NEVER offer the DJ. He was THE most unprofessional DJ who made fun of guests, played horrible music from a middle school dance, made the bride feel bad during the bouquet toss, made fun of the grooms hair cut, and the worst of all, allowed some lady from the wedding to request that the last dance be between her and the bride!!! The last dance should be with the bride and groom. When the family went to ask for a an additional last dance for bride and groom he said no because he had to stop at 11:00 on the dot. Not acceptable! They paid the bill such despicable customer service!!!- Why did the coordinator leave before the wedding was over? If I had t been there all the their personal effects wouldn’t have made it home. I had to find the box for the glasses, ask for the cake topper etc. the coordinator who knows all these details needs to stay through the end. Poor service once again.- I understand serving 120 guests can be difficult and hard to keep the food warm but Undercooked veggie and over cooked chicken for the price per person they paid is unacceptable. Risotto is one the the hardest side dishes to serve to a massive party. You shouldn’t be offering it if it’s going to taste like it did, so bland and hard chunks. Offer something that will sustain the time you have to service. This is industry standards. Why isn’t Shula’s on top of that?- Even the ballroom had this Awkward lighting at outer tables. Do you not know how to set the scene? Who can enjoy a party with basically a spot light on them. Thankfully we found the wall switch and changed it ourselves.I will be sharing this review in every way possible because it’s important for future brides and grooms to know what they’re walking into. These examples are my take on the wedding, I’m sure there were other instances other guests experienced that were also unacceptable.

Shulas hotel, either on Main St. or the golf course, is a great place to stay in Miami. The famous steak house is on the golf course, and is a must for red meat lovers. Staying in the Main St. hotel is nice because Miami Lakes is a delightful little town square, and you can wander around safely and marvel at our South Florida weather and delights while your friends are shivering back home.

The course is long of about 18 holes and well kept. the staff is very helpful.

Disappointing. Arrived to a parking lot that that was a wreck and confusing and required walking to the club house because the closer more convenient lot was valet only. I was told I would have to walk back across that same parking lot to get to the range because carts arent allowed to cross through the parking lot. No range signs, no clear directions from the cart guys, just start walking and hope you find the range. The range was an unkept field of weeds and only had mats to hit off. The course itself is very nice with fast greens but the holes are boring and the only memorable hole was the elevated tee box on #2. Our cart died on the 15th green and no extension to Shulas phone number would answer. We grabbed our bags and abandoned the cart and played the last 3 holes on foot. Overpriced for what you get. A reminder to why it has been 5 years since the last time we played this course. Maybe I will try it again in another 5 years to see if they got their act together. For now, I do not recommend.

Golfing experience was very good with the new greens, however that was all thrown out the window by their customer service.I was charged $60 for a player who didnt show up due to an emergency a week after my round was played and no one returned my multiple calls for claification.

The automatic ball dispenser almost never works. Other than that the place is nice, a little dated but very well kept.

Golf course not in best of shape. Understaffed. Very bad practice facilities.
