Please note that they have changed the experience as of June, 2019. It is now a show and a small history lesson, and chocolate samples. We enjoyed it as part of a 3 experience ticket. The show is a little juvenile, but it does give you some information about the flavors and the history of the flavors you are experiencing. I would not buy this as a solo experience, but buy it as part of their Adventure Bundles as it makes the price a little more reasonable and you can spend a fair amount of time enjoying the tasting.
Was nice but pricey. Just like it should be.
This was a great two days! My team (TJ) won 46-7. And this place was amazing for pictures and many more!
Please avoid it at any cost... Total waste of money.... They provide a nice looking chocolate box which has just chocolate worth of not more than 2$(even if it was bought at the store). We were assuming that we will be tasting different chocolate varieties but it was a disaster when they made us open the chocolate box provided to us and eat it followed by some stupid chocolate making experience like drama which did not serve any purpose.Shame on you Hershey. Are you not able to provide chocolates from your own factory? Ended up paying 19 odd dollars for adult and 13 odd dollars for children. Completely dissatisfied. Made a mistake not reading the review here before heading to this disaster. Please dont ever visit chocolate world. Even the stores inside the chocolate world sell chocolates almost at the same price like other retailers.
This is Hersheys attempt at a Disney-esque live acting show and boy does it not work. Its aimed at kids for sure, but even the kids in our showing werent that interested for most of the show. The show is split into two parts and maybe 15-20 mins total. Like I said its clearly for children, but the adults have to pay $15 each to sit and be bored out of their minds too. The taste test portion is just a few small chocolate bars they give you and have you taste throughout the show. Theyre not special ones, just normal, dark, white and gold.It is WAY OVERPRICED! It is not worth the $15 dollar ticket admission! Especially when its not clear what the show is before you buy a ticket. It needs a lot of work to make it with that, or it needs to be lowered to the same price as the 4D movie as its shorter and less interesting. Its new, so it probably will be reworked, but as it stands now this show is not that great and no where near $15. I mean thats more than a movie ticket in most cities! The free tour is more fun!
Not recommended unless you just have money to burn. Basically a scam, you pay $12-16 just to sit there and eat four sample chocolate pieces, and they just ask your personal opinion about how it tastes. No exaggeration. That’s just it. Why don’t you spend that $12 to buy a whole bag of chocolates and eat it at home and think about how it tastes like? This is just throwing money away unknowingly. Also don’t do that 4D movie thing unless you have kids
4 out of 5. It was fun. Could have been a little longer. Sound system needs some work. A bit hard to understand. Good chocolate.
Waste of money and time. I totally agree with the review from Zhao Jing. I wish I would have read that review prior to purchasing my tickets. I would have rather spent the $15.95 per person on chocolate in the store.
