We had a great time renting out the facility.
Ive been here a few times and Ive enjoyed the plays Ive attended. The check-in experience is smooth. You buy your tickets online and give them your name when checking in.The plays have been entertaining. The cast is full of energy and theres usually a few opportunities for audience members to participate in the play.Theres an intermission about 50 minutes into the play to go outside or use the restroom. The whole place is clean and well-maintained.I highly recommend anyone interested in experiencing theater to give this place a visit.
Great little local black-box theater. I’ve been coming here for years, back when it was Elden Street Players. It’s amazing how they can transform their little space into exactly what they need for their performance. I will admit, there have been a few performances I didn’t care for, but those are very rare. The staff is wonderful as well, and their snack bar is a great treat, too. lways a great experience.
What a wonderful production of pride and prejudice. First time Ive been here, great cast and venue. Im already looking into planning my next trip.
What a great setting to see a play. Every time is more enjoyable than the last time. So glad to have this treasure in our area.
We saw Ordinary Days - Great musical, great actors, great evening!
Went to Singing in the Rain. My first time at this intimate theater. Impressive performances and creative direction. My first time wont be my last. A great night of theater.
We saw Shrek there, which was mostly youth actors, and loved it! The adaption was great, the acting was very good and some of the actors, young and adult, had amazing voices. The little girl who played the dragons voice was amazing! And, best of all, there was a great energy to the show. Everyone seemed to be having fun. Highly recommend!
Great intimate theater. Beehive was well done and a fun show. We will definently be back!
Show was fabulous. Waiting to get in was crowded and hot. Would definitely see more shows.
My wife & I love NextStop - been there for 3 productions. It is low cost; small, cozy atmosphere; places to eat nearby; and no traffic. When you go there, throw then a few extra bucks. It is a hidden secret.
Ive seen a few shows here. Quality is good. Also came for an audition.
Saw Pride & Prejudice- fun and energetic production. Happy and friendly front house staff.
Small theater company, but many of the performers can sing very well and can tap dance in unison beyond my belief ! Their Singing In The Rain performance was fabulous !
Friendly staff, top notch local theatre. The Pride and Prejudice production was a delightful experience.
Loved BEEHIVE. The cast was superb.
Small intimate theater with friendly staff. Very impressed by the professional level of performance, stage and lighting they put on for Amour. I would definitely go again.
High quality. Lots if fun
Attended the production is East of Eden tonight. Cosy little theater, top notch performances. Highly recommend.
Great theater at an affordable price.
Great little black box theatre.
Varies from good professional quality to barely high school. Cheap but I value my time.
Great job with Matilda!
What a jewel! Great performances, friendly staff, nice offering of drinks, easy parking. Whats not to love?
Nice and cozy theater.
Just saw Godspell at NextStop theater. First time at the theater which is an intimate experience with stadium seating with only 8 rows of seats. Great show, wonderful experience. I expect we will be regulars now.Parking can be tough near the theater, but there is plenty around. It is in an industrial park - on the Herndon Parkway side, furthest from Spring Street.
Great local theatre. Professional production, great quality. Very good value and a way to support the small stage.
We took the grandkids to see the production of Willy Wonka. We all loved it! I have never seen so many kids perform with such energy, confidence, and skill. They obviously were talented, and more importantly rehearsed well. The whole performance was well-paced and entertaining. We go to the theater a lot, and this was one of the more memorable performances weve seen for a long time. Applause!!
A very nice, intimate and talented community theater. The theater seats about 120 but all of the seats are excellent and the foot room is much better than in many of the seats at the Kennedy Center. The sound and lighting and technical aspects of the show were very professional. There were no weak spots in the cast of 10 and one of the leads was an Actors Equity performer, so it was a pleasure to watch. The only downside was that it was a little difficult to find. It is located behind the Hyatt hotel in a strip mall with two sides. Leave yourself a little extra time to find it on your first visit.Bottom line, if you like theater, especially musicals, and dont want to pay $60+ per ticket and get a quality, high end community theater shoe, give Nextstop theater in Herndon a try.
The Wedding Singer was a funny, entertaining show. True to the movie but enough changes to make you laugh again at the story line.
Only complaint I have is that there isnt a very big space. The seats are comfortable and the backstage is great, though. (it has 2 floors)
Love the quality of theatre provided, the staff is exceptional, and the diversity of programming is thoughtful and entertaining!
Great acting and singing. Bonus: very good concessions.
Amour was vibrant and energizing!!! Clearly a five-star performance!
We have been going to The Herndon Industrial Strength Theater / Next Stop for over a decade and in my opinion the shows are just getting weirder and weirder, perhaps Im just not an artsy person. To add insult to injury the plays rarely start on time, the intermission runs longer than stated because of the incredible line to use one of two unisex bathrooms. Unlike McLean or Reston there is no assigned seating and the ticket prices are significantly more expensive than any community theater in the area.. Ill continue to attend plays occasionally but will not renew my season tickets as in my opinion only about 20% of the productions are worth seeing.
Nice local theater
Great local theatre. Staff friendly and helpful. Love going here.
Intimate, punctual, engaging shows, and great cast members. Not a bad seat in the house. Whats not to love?
I really like their shows. Its a great little theater.
Interesting show. Never seen anything like it. Small, personal, performing space.
Small and intimate but with the most amazing productions! Top quality directing, acting, singing, dancing, sets, sounds, and costumes, and the people of NextStop are the best!
Cute little theater, friendly staff. Bar service inside. No assigned seating.
A great little theater tucked away in Herndon! My first visit will not be my last!
Amazing musical theatre experience tucked away in Herndon.
