Wow!! So I have seen many variables of Little Shop of Horrors. I have to say making the plant come to life was brilliant. I laughed so hard I cried. He was hilarious! Everyone was dead on their lines and all sang fantastic. This was our first time there and we absolutely LOVED it. We will definitely be back. So impressed. Great job everyone.

I dont know how this little place consistently puts on quality productions with the space they have! I have been to many of their productions over the years and they have never disappointed in the quality of their productions, costumes, and actors! And its AFFORDABLE!! The production of Little Shop of Horrors was brilliant. Very well casted. Comfortable seating. Stage viewable from all seats. Snacks for reasonable prices. Plenty of parking.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was exceptional! We also had a bunch of laughs watching Dixie Swim Club too. This theatre group is the best. Can’t wait to see Shrek coming soon. I am always amazed at our amazing local talent. We are blessed to have this theatre and such high caliber productions here in Hendersonville.

Never disappointed with any play at HPAC

I just recently saw HPACs latest show, Young Frankenstein with my husband. It was one of the best shows I have seen by any local theater company in a very long time!!! It was edgy, hilarious, and full of music I cant stop singing the lyrics to! Its about time companies branched out a little from the usual, old-school favorites. I mean, I love Rodgers and Hammerstein as much as anyone but its great to see a company be willing to try something bolder, edgier, and a little less safe. Thank you to the cast and crew for a fantastic show!

Just recently attended Young Frankenstein. Thoroughly enjoyed it!! The show kept me in stitches. This is a very talented cast and you can really see their hard work and dedication. I’m shocked to see the previous bad reviews and I’ve got to think that they didn’t watch the same Young Frankenstein that I did or maybe just came out from under a rock. It’s a shame that the reviews robbed the show of some of their good ratings. This is a show catered to adults with very witty adult humor and very funny. Great job HPAC!!

This was my first time to see a live production, which was Neil Simons Rumors The playhouse is in my opinion just the right size for the experience of going to a play! The cast was very talented, in fact one cast member really stood out to both cast and audience! I highly recommend this play house especially if its your first time seeing a play!

Fantastic show! Casting was spot on. I forgot what a funny (and naughty!) show this is!Vocals were great and dancing sequences lively and fun to watch!Not sure why the negative posters reacted to the pg-13 nature of this show. It’s Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein! Can’t imagine they thought it would be different.HPAC clearly advertised it as not suitable for younger audiences.Great job to all in this show!

We loved the show HONK! It was very well cast and they sang so beautifully! The costumes were delightful and the set was great! We love how the theater is up close and right there almost with the actors! We will definitely go again!!!!

I couldnt believe how close I got to be to the stage. If only I had known about this sooner I would give anything to have brought my mother to a show here. The actors were over the top and My Fair Lady wont be my last show. I hope to be able to see them all! The props they use and the costumes are top notch which makes it even that much more enjoyable. You may find it to be in a hidden location but what a great little venue!

I have seen a couple shows here and they were fantastic! The talent, the music, the crew, and the shows have just been great! I love having a community performing arts center to be able to take my family to see live shows. I see myself seeing MANY productions from the HPAC in the future ️

HPAC is incredible! The actors, singer, dancers, directors, stage crew, light techs, and sound crew all work so well together to make a show run smoothly. I love the classy shows, children shows, and even the adult shows. Before going to a show, read about it. I seen a few reviews of people not happy with Young Frankenstien because it wasn’t kid friendly, however ever ad for the show stated it was for a mature audience. All you have to do is read about a show before you watch it to see if it sounds like something you’d like to go to. These guys are amazing no matter what genre they are performing!

Young Frankenstein was hilarious, and the cast and crew did a fantastic job. Any problems with the content should be taken up with Mel Brooks. Great job, HPAC!

My brothers and I went to go see Young Frankenstein and it was the WORST musical/show that we have EVER seen. Not a good show for a family to see together at ALL. HPAC is known for their classy shows and family oriented shows, this was DEFINITELY NOT one of those shows and if these are the types of shows that HPAC will be performing, I and my family probably wont ever go back.

We really enjoyed the play at the Hendersonville Performing Arts Lion, The Witch &The Wardrobe by the book of author CS Lewis.

We have enjoyed the many productions from the best community theater in the Nashville area. Shows sell out early so order your tickets early.

I am going to make this as brief as I can. HPAC is AWESOME!!! I saw their Beauty&the Beast musical production, and I couldnt wait to go back and see another one! I went back a couple of days ago to see their musical production called Young Frankenstein, and I shouldve left during intermission. Talk about a waste of time and money. IT...WAS...AWFUL. After the 1st unnecessary/awkward son of a b***h it was down hill from there. I was aware it was for adults and there was going to be sexual jokes, but nobody said nothing about scenes being outright DISTURBING. The scenes that were suppose to be funny were awkward, and 90% of the scenes were just unpleasant. The singing was good, but not amusing. I left with a MASSIVE headache. Spoiler Warning - And how is a zombie that has sex with a woman FUNNY? Somebody PLEASE TELL ME. I want to LAUGH TOO! Nobody can cause its NOT its NASTY/FILTHY/DISGUSTING. I almost lost my lunch. HPAC listen Imma keep it 100. I LOVE yall, but dont do anymore shows like this...

So much fun to see these exceptionally well produced, directed, and performed plays and musicals! Great family activity to get children interested in the arts.

First of all I would like to say that the Beauty and the Beast performance that they had a few months ago was top notch. Now that I got that out of the way, time to talk about Young Frankinstein. I would like to start off by saying this was a terrible show. It is not family appropriate, it is not children appropriate, heck not even adult appropriate. Half the time, correction the entire time my siblings and I were watching the performance trying figure out what the heck we were watching on that stage. We wont be going back HPAC if they start showing performances like this. I could have been more entertained by staring at my knees for the wasted two hours that we were there. Ok Im finished.
