Im new to everything regarding lake-life. One of the big questions after we got involved with boating is where do we go on Old Hickory Lake?While we have our preferred spots, Skinny Dip Cove is the one we frequent the most due to the water only being 1-2 feet deep. Because of that, you can actually tread most of the area. My kids like it because you dont have to constantly swim to enjoy the water. Its like a giant splashpad for them. Since it is in a cove, you dont have to worry about strong wakes from passing boats. As a plus, you can either anchor by yourself or join one of the many other boat tied together. Great for all ages!
