Hofstra University Museum of Art

Not so easy to see right off of Hempstead Turnpike servicing Uniondale and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Located on the grounds of Hofstra university.

Beautiful Art, well put together. The flow and atmosphere are just fantastic!! One of the things I miss the most about NY all of the museums!!

Truly a hidden gem. They always have some very unexpectedly well known names in their exhibits like Picasso and Warhol.

The Hofstra University Museum is open to the public during the school semester. It is free to the public. The current exhibition is entitled Changing Perceptions: World War 1 and the Visual Arts. It will be closing on 12/14/18. The museum will reopen in the spring semester with a continuing exhibit on World war II and the visual arts. It was a well thought out exhibit. Cant wait till the spring exhibit.

Went for a graduation and all went well. AC was cozy,seats were soft and comfy
