Debby Holiday was excellent. The show was over the top wonderful, better than a few Las Vegas shows we have seen. The Theatre is a work in progress but the acoustics were great and we are really looking forward to some new seats. If you miss the Tina Turner revue, you missed the best they have had.

This was my first time attending a concert at this location it was like an old fashioned theater it has been upgraded but still seems to need some work in the seats other than that the concert that I went to see was a tribute band to ACDC called La bonfire they were awesome we had a great time the beers were really reasonable prices and as soon as you walk in you smell the popcorn cooking it was amazing to smell that cuz I like popcorn from the movie theater Im definitely going back they are going to have more concerts in the month to come and the people that work there are very friendly there are a lot of older folks who attended the concert but it doesnt matter because its made it a cool environment didnt have to worry about all the younger crazy crowds u get at other venues.

This theater is a hundred years old and it is in pretty good shape. A lot of original stuff and their concerts are good. Just wish the bathrooms were updated a little.

Great fun atmosphere. Wonderful people donate Thier time and love to make sure everyone has a good time . The variety of of music is fantastic . Musicians are Excellent . So comfortable, or room for fun . ( Dancing). Hometown feeling . Dinner across the street ..walk on over .

What a fun night of music. Fortunate son was truly a great experience for those to young to see CCR back in the day. Besides the music what event could you get a $3 beer or glass of wine? We will be back ALL summer long!!

It was a fun concert BUT the seat are past terrible. One lady almost hit the floor it fell back so far anther one did n they came and taped it off. They served alcohol and several people were getting drunk. I will most likely not return there. It got bad. I felt sorry for the people who were near the intoxicated one. I saw one man laugh and he had beer in his mouth and 3 of the people in front of him got sprayed. Other were obnoxious. If they stop serving booz, which they dont need to do if good programs, and fix the seating. One day I would go back n tell other a good place to go. But as it is I would not recommend it to the local drunk. Just Saying ! ! !.

This place is always so welcoming. The theater does need some upgrading and a central air. They have some great showed to offer.

Brian and Susan have turned this theater into a must-go on your agenda. The bands are fantastic and the volunteers are warm and welcoming. Its always a fun night out at Historic Hemet Theater!!!

Im giving this four stars, honestly, out of nostalgia. And hope. This was, at one point, a lovely theater. That time has long since passed. Theres been a few changing of hands in the last couple decades and its now owned by what I believe is a non-profit preservation society. Which is for the best. This isnt an IMAX theater. Its an ooold theater. But old in the best way, with velvet curtains around the screen, crazy comfortable seats and bathrooms so old the lettering is in an art deco font.Ive seen some great movies here: Pulp Fiction, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Dark Knight, and the greatest movie ever made: Raiders of the Lost Ark. (It even had a teaser trailer for REVENGE of the Jedi!) The side building even used to be my favorite comic book shop! So yeah, nostalgia plays a big part here. But it is lovely. And I honestly believe that some day itll be the five stars I want it to be.

Its a lovely old theatre with wonderful people working there, who provide a variety of venues. They have the typical popcorn, candy and sodas. As well as a bar set up in the lobby. Its a great place!

Love the Historic Hemet Theatre.. the atmosphere inside the theater is original in fact it even takes you back in time to your childhood, Susan, Brian and the volunteers make things happen and friendly the venue has really increased in popularity and have had success in sold out tribute bands I am so happy to be a part of the theater volunteer..John kemp.

The man there is a sweetheart. He didnt have the popcorn machine on when I came in wanting popcorn so he said next time I come in he will give me some and not charge me for it. He is very kind. I love the big theater with the big comfortable old seats.

Its a nice venue but hated to see they sold beer.

Theyre cooling system was out. It was very very hot. Bathrooms were very old and nees to be re-done. But overall we had a great time seeing Eagles tribute Band.

The concerts are terrific. Ive been a season ticket holder since they started and Ive never seen a bad one. Its always an ejoyable night out and I love their concerts!

Awesome place and people nd events

Theater needs love and care. Sad to see it in such bad shape. I was there for a school awards ceremony and play. The microphones didnt work and it was hard, even impossible at times to hear the kids. I hope next year they either fix problems or find a new venue. The one bright spot was the pop corn and the man who was so nice to my 2yr. old.

If you use the theater for an award ceremony or something where you need to see then there should probably be better lighting but the theater is a great place and hold many good events for the city.

Historic Hemet Theatre is Hemets best kept secret! The tribute band series rocks the house every month with live bands from all over SoCal! The theatre has great acoustics, and dance floor to rock the night away to all your faves from Led Zep Again to The Bee Gees. I love it!

My wife and I really enjoyed the look/sing alike group of Credence Clearwater Revival there. One can choose to dance also on there dance floor located just on front of the group playing.

Came here for the 1st ever local PRIDE event and it was awesome to see so much love and support for the community.
