This is Irene Madrid. I was the first female to be the manager at Southgate 1967 and 1968. I coached the team, taught lessons, lifeguarded and did maintain everything! I was a PE teacher for 7 yrs but ended up with 4 La Petite Baleen Swim Schools on the peninsula. Just wanted to say hello.

Not much to say, clean and cozy, great for family gatherings...

I was a visiting clubs Auntie and had a blast. Southgate was very welcoming and the raffle ticket guy was a hoot!!! Parking is limited and we had to walk a block or so but it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Very clean and friendly swim club, with a great swim team. Grass area, big bbq area, baby pool. Membership required. But well worth it. Fabulous family place.

Nice place for the kids

The Swim Club is clean and maintained. A new barbeque area has been added. New chairs were there. The lifeguards are diligent.

I love this place. The pool is clean, the lifeguards are attentive, everything is well maintained. I love to play with my kids in the pool or at the volleyball net. I am also comfortable laying out and reading while the kids swim because I know the lifeguards are on top of watching the swimmers. Its a great place to relax and have a family BBQ.

Private swim club for members only. Well kept, clean, great for family. Pool is nice size with differt depths and life guards. BBQ pit and lots of grassy areas. Friendly staff and very welcoming to new guests.

There were a few bugs and smaller log pieces in the water. No lockers and an outdoor shower with no hot water.

Its really a nice place for a Party

Its alright im in there swim team so yah its alright.

Its a nice club for kids.
