Great YMCA, the front attendant Anthony made my trip to the Y a pleasant and one to remember.

Its my most favorite 0pace go to when I need to talk to somone or If I want to workout or play basketball

Do not bring your kid here to play youth sports. The director is by far the worst!!! He plays favorites and if your kid is not his favorite, then do not plan on making any teams!! He will offer you ways to better your kids skills, by paying him more money, and then he flakes out. GOOD LUCK if you already attend!! Big SCAM for money for nothing, look for other accredited organizations for REAL sports skills.

I wish you can give less than one star as a review they have poor member service and dont look for the needs off the members and suck at informing you things and making it a better experience for you especially me being a loyal member.

Most of the equipment in the gym area is old, yet that wouldnt matter if the seats wouldnt just release there lock on you when you are lifting weights. Getting to the point where people just leave weights lying around and other equipment. Ill be ending my membership very soon. Your paying 33 dollars a monthly fee and the equipment has issues. You pay what you get for ; so to say. People leaving there parcels on seats and in other locations. I would only recommend this place just to start out in and advance into another gym. There are also flies that fly around sometimes. I squashed one fly near the dumbells that landed on my shoe. Also for a whole month noticed people have conversations in the gym area as well. Just letting you know people. Have a great day!

Great pool.

Have been a member for 10 years and can say this place has been an enormously positive impact on my life. I started lifting weights with my friends at 14 before the renovation. Now they have top of the line equipment and a spot for Olympic lifting which no other gym (besides a crossfit gym) within 20 miles has. They have a clean pool and a steam room AND sauna. Friendly informative staff and a good sense of community. I will continue to be a member for a while.

Honestly astounded that this YMCA has a rating higher than 3. Yes the staff is all very friendly but not everyone is helpful. There is a ridiculous amount of disorganization and neglect in this building. The equipment is old, falling apart and unclean. There is dust everywhere and that creates problems for people with allergies. The pool is always dirty because they wont listen to the patrons and purchase a working vacuum. The chlorine is always too high or low and causes serious dry skin and rashes. There is dirt and hair clumps all around the building even after the cleaning crew has cleaned the building because they neglect areas that need to be cleaned (for no reason). Many patrons have left their membership here for the North Andover YMCA because the pools are always clean, staff is friendly AND happy and complaints are acknowledged and taken care of like they should be. Its embarrassing to be associated with this YMCA because they say that they hold themselves to high standards. I wish they would listen to their staff and patrons constructive criticism so that people would enjoy attending and be proud to work for this employer.

My kids love the place. My wife did have an altercation with one of the staff which is why I rated it the way I did.

Unkept white privilege attitude with no music in the weight room.

I didnt stay long because of schedule conflicts. They had good equipment and a nice pool, but when I went to cancel my membership, I had a bunch of trouble. When I called the desk, the line was dropped, twice, before I talked to anyone. When I spoke with member relations, I was asked to write an e-mail, and when the person on the other end went to look up an address to sent it to, I was on hold for ten minutes before the line dropped again. After trying to call several more times, I went over to the Y personally and said I wanted to cancel my membership, and they handed me a simple cancellation form. Why didnt they say I could do that in the first place?Aside from that, the staff was overly busy and sometimes unhelpful, or didnt get back with you on things such as classes they recommend.

Ive been going to this ymca for a little over 14 months . Ive seen many unsavory things go down here . Ive been harassed myself a number of times by staff and others .Some staff are nice and others need to be fired asap like the little blonde mouth trainer, The old lady in the front and some other workers . If you have no problem with drug addicts, haters, secret drug deals, Hep C, HPV and ex inmates . then this is the place for you . Dont you dare try to go into the steam room or pool unless you want an STD .Youve been friendly advised

My experience was Horrible and unorganized. I just signed my son up for the peewee basketball league. Paid the money and now 4 weeks into still havent heard anything from the director. I left 3 messages on his phone and still nothing. I call his boss and left 2 messages and still nothing from him. Im not rich to be getting scammed out of money. Keep in mine people they had 4 games and nothing. When I went there and call they always say the managers are in meetings or left for the day everytime. Never again would I go there or recommend to anyone I know, that is for sure.

I take the spin classes all the instrutors are great if they ever let any of them like deb Richard or Todd I will go somewhere else

The worst experience I ever had with my child, to the point sometimes I cant sleep thinking about some other parents can go thru my experience, because I didnt speak up. The only time will be ok to have your child on Haverhill YMCA day care is if you child is brain dead. Unprofessionals and liars is the best I can say about them.
