Fantastic park with tons to do, lots of fun things for your kids to enjoy. My toddler and his cousin loved everything that was there. There are loud jets that sometimes fly overhead so if you kid is sensitive to sounds better to find another park. Otherwise this place has it all.

Great place this time of year to take the little ones, with the fall breeze in the afternoon. The park is clean. Plus there are many activities for the toddlers to the more advanced climbing children.

Weve been going to this park for years and years my oldest child is 15 and my youngest is nine and Ive got pictures of my oldest when he was only three having a good time it was really quite nice when they upgraded it

Park is great. Basketball hoops giant rope web. I would great for all but the smallest little ones.

Its a wonderful place. My kids love going it has so much to do! And i like that it is by the police department. What a perfect place for children and families to safely play/spend time. My only complaint is they do not have water fountains to drink from but no biggie we bring our own waters ! Its mire sanitary that way anyhow.

Large play area for the kids. Plenty of slides do children have s variety of heights and curves to go down. Awesome swings! Bright and colorful.

My grandkids absolutely love this park. It is very colourful and well equipped with lots,of new state of the art, playground equipment. My husband and I live bringing the kids here.

Kids love it here! Ages 2-14, they have so much fun! Just wish the bathrooms werent locked, and once during the summer 2019 my daughter found nasty panties inside the wooden helicopter, disgusting!!

One of my kids favorite parks. Love that there is a soft ground, good for babies just learning to walk and crawl. Have co-swing sets where mama and baby can swing together! Actual equipment is probably better for 2 years +.

A fantastic little park, with several surprisingly awesome play area for the kids, with a mix of old school and new equipment. Its wheelchair accessible too. Some items could use a little TLC (zipline swing bearings and cables, broken wooden helicopter, etc.) but otherwise is great for an afternoon. Im glad my son spotted it on the trip from Kinston to Pine Knoll Shores.

Great place for kids even those in a wheelchair; they have a wheelchair swing.

I love the setup and the options of things to do here! However the merry go round needs to be fixed and the zip line thing needs to be oiled.

Awesome park. A little spread out so you have to keep an eye on the little ones, but a great park to play.

Chili fest . always one of our favorites! new vendors.. which was great! Got to try chili, chicken, popcorn, lumpia! the only disappointment for me was all the politicans, felt like they should be somewhere else!

I am quite amazed at this park. Theyve done a really good job with it. If you are in Havelock and cant think of much to do, Walter B. Jones Park is a sure win.For kiddos of all ages....

Super fun park! Great path for walking, skating, and jogging. Bathrooms need more attention but overall great!

Really nice park for parents to play with kids. Large with a lot of newer activities to play. Its comforting that it is beside to police station. I didnt give 5 stars bc there is almost always a group of 4-10 teenagers under the pavilion that play rough and have no filter around younger kids.

The park is great but it gets super we in the morning!

The Havelock chili festival is an amazing event to take your kids and the entire family to. Hats off to the organizers for putting on such a great event. Cant wait to attend again next year. Food folks and fun.

No longer a fan of this park. I have a young child and had been visiting this park quite a bit. however I wont be going back unless I am with a large group of people and even then I will think twice about going. There has been more the one occasion we have been at this park where there are teens on the play grounds without any adults around and they were acting destructive and cussing and smoking. There has also been a few occasions where we feel unsafe because of unsavory looking people walking around. One would think with the police across the street his would be a nicer area but it is not.

First time taking the kids there since the new additions. The kids and I had a blast the variety is amazing.
