Review №2

I went for a walk here a day after the Dayton and El Paso shootings to clear my mind. This park is the former plant for Colt, which most people created guns. The main plant (armory) is still there, but most of the manufacturing buildings are gone. The office buildings, power plant, workers houses and main armory still remain. Most of these buildings were vacant for decades, but they are now in use for software companies, a brewery, schools and other functions. There is not much you can visit, but it is interesting place just to walk around.Back to my reflecting. Colt still exists but the factory in West Hartford is tiny compared to this complex. That shows how far weve come. Samuel Colt said, God created men, but Colt made them equal. We no longer need Gun complexs as large as this one, so maybe we are more equal now.
