I always love going to Gamer Oasis, the place is amazing, it has pretty much everything a gaming and anime fan could hope for, and then some. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I also love being able to chat about various games and such with the staff as Im checking out, theyre amazing. Its definitely worth checking the place out if youve never been there, before.

Wouldnt let me in the door without a mask even though I have health issues that prevent me from wearing one. The mask mandate states its an exception for breathing issues. Last time Ill ever go to this store, shouldve just went to monster games like I usually do, shane always take care of me

Awesome place. Great location but nothing within a city block to grab a decent meal, unless you want to hit up BK two blocks down. Still a decent place to hang, sling cardboard cards or roll some die for a number of games. FYI Custard Ice Cream next door is a good go to if yer not after a meal.

I love this place! Huge selection and a nice variety of games, collectibles, clothing etc. Definitely worth a stop if you havent been there.

Im developing a card game and Haresy (Im sure Im misspelling this) has been extremely helpful with me. Every time I come in the staff are all really friendly and very helpful. They even play games with people from time to time. If youre looking for retro games, card games or table top games Id recommend this place. Hands down.

Gamer Oasis is a 1-Up. The staff rocks, they sell pieces of video gaming history and they make sure you leave the building with the best price possible. Not to mention, its practically the Holy Grail of card gaming. Seriously, if you love games, this is your place.

Bought a Ps4 from them and the disk drive button wouldnt work so I took it apart to fix it myself and the system had a nest of roaches inside it. Wouldnt recommend them.

Gamers Oasis is very accessible and community oriented. Dakota helped us pull together a birthday party for our 10 year old in a matter of days. It was affordable, and catered to the kids needs. The space was welcoming, and Sam was very present and patient with the kids in helping them learn to play the pokemon trading card game. All in all a great experience at Gamers Oasis, Id highly recommend utilizing their space!

Cool place with a wide variety of things for gamers of all types. Lots of retro stuff as well. Their prices are better than Game Stop also.

Truly the must go to spot for any video game enthusiast or strategy game fanatic. This place has everything, its always lively and the workers here truly enjoy what theyre doing and it shows. I have never once had a bad experience here and Ive been coming here when it was formerly known as 8-Bit Games.Keep in mind that Gamer Oasis also does video game repairs and resurfaces any CD/DVD for $4 a disc! They can also change internal batteries for those old Gameboy Games! Id definitely recommend any Harrisonburg native to come down and take a look!

This is a fantastic game store for all of your nerding needs! They have a pretty expansive magic selection, as well as various board games and other accessories. Everyone here is super helpful, and I am really glad Harrisonburg finally has a store like this!

Lots of variety, and very cool games at amazing prices. From Nintendo, to PlayStation, to xbox, they had it all Super Mario Bros for the NES was only 5$. They had a bunch of table top board game stuff as well

A fantastic gaming store. They run roll playing game nights and carry everything you need to participate. There are also pop figures, plushies, and a selection of console platforms and games.

Plenty of great old school and brand new games. They have a good amount of dnd trinkets, including players guide and the works. They also have a decent selection of accsesorys for game systems.

I have been going to the Gamer Oasis since they opened. Many times for old video games, and repairs. I was recently going through my 20 year old Pokemon cards and wanting to get into a newer game, headed over to the Gamer Oasis to get some info.As luck would have it I headed over on a Friday night where there was a new Magic The Gathering card release and play! Everyone playing/hanging was very enthusiastic and helpful, and Josh, (who is an employee there) was super helpful. Going out of his way to play some games (even though it was super busy), share some welcome decks with me to get started, and explain the basics of gameplay. It was super fun! I bought a box and went home to strategize and open packs!Fast forward to Sunday. I went in to buy some singles and rare cards I thought would make my deck competitive for Tuesday game night. Josh made me a cool deck on the spot, then we sat down and played two games to test it out! I really appreciated all the effort and passion for the game, and am looking forward to game nights!Thanks!

Went in the store today for the first time to see what they had and OMG!!! $7 for a pack of Pokemon cards,Walmart has them for $3.49 a pack,and I ask a staff member if they had Yu-Gi-Oh cards and he said that they dont sell Yu-Gi-Oh cards and then I found them on the self,its shows that the staff dont know nothing about the products theyre are selling and the reputation of the store that I heard about them scamming people are true, saw it for myself,ill never come back,this is why I dont support local card/game stores

I absolutely love this place. Its not just a game store, its a place to hang out. You can even play tabletop and trading card games in store with your friends. The staff are a great, social group of people who are more than willing to hear out your problems or even just chat about games. Spent a great evening playing board games and making new friends. Both staff and regulars were extremely helpful and welcoming to new players, and I discovered a couple new board games I want to get in the future.The space was shared with groups playing Warhammer and competitive Magic games, but the noice level stayed low and it was easy to concentrate. A good space to host a variety of events and gaming nights!The store has a good selection of board games, old video game cartridges, magic cards, and other gaming paraphernalia.

I love this store! They have tons of classic games and even some really rare ones. The games are also in impeccable condition, as they clean them on site. They also do repairs and we have gotten some custom made controllers from there, too!

A fun little store to visit with my young son. They have a large selection of vintage video games and an area set up where you can play them. The prices seem reasonable, on the whole, for the vintage and sometimes collectible games they stock.

My child loves going here.
