Fort Hunter Conservancy

Love this place! Quiet and beautiful with lots of wildlife! I encountered a bear myself once! The view at the top is AMAZING!

Love it saw some wildlife and the trails were awesome recommend this place to everyone

Decently marked trails, not great. Views were excellent!

Awesome hiden gem in the Harrisburg area. Great views. However, the trail is not well maintained and get really overgrown during the summer months.

Pros: maybe the best view in the Harrisburg area- with a swing on the power line at the very top!(and a boat too but hey whatever you think you need)Cons: getting to the top is horribly marked and overgrown. Because much of it is below power lines the trail is full of loose stones and it’s very easy to lose your footing and fall into the thorny brush because it is not well maintained.

Challenging hike with fantastic view of Harrisburg, PA.

Nice park / trail system. As a somewhat experienced hiker, I will say the paths werent marked clearly, but that wasnt a huge problem. There was a lot of overgrowth, and fallen trees. Still a fun time, great rewarding Vista and super fun hike / rock scramble.

This was a mildly hard hike, that makes you want to stop and go back, but then you keep going. The peek is gorgeous and I would 100percent go again.

Extremely steep hike, but worth it once at the top. A swing at the top and nice view.

The unspoiled wilderness here is amazing - but beware the trails are poorly marked.Luckily its not a large area, so its always possible to have some idea of where you are.

When you get to the top of the hill under the powerline, this is one of the best views in Harrisburg
