For the most part I enjoy walking my three miles in this park. Its a very wide open park. Very clean. The people who come here are very friendly. The only drawback is, like with most parks, its in need of some TLC. In some areas, the path is badly cracked and uneven; an accident waiting to happen. But once youre used to the path, you know when and where to move to avoid these hazards. There is a restroom. But I havent been inside, so Im not sure how well kept it is. I enjoy coming here and I think if youre looking for a place to walk, exercise or just relax, you should come and check it out.

Very large park with a beautiful walking path. Very clean with a pond and ducks along the path. Also has basketball court cool and playground. Despite being close to the highway it felt secluded and quiet.

The park is neat and clean. Bathrooms are neat and clean. No smells. The playground was very crowded and all of the picnic tables near the playground were full. That made me uncomfortable during social distancing especially since no one wore masks (I know were outside, but still). Plenty of tables farther into the park.

Quaint little park with a bunch of pokestops, places to walk to for food, and a jogging track. good for when you need to get out and about and stretch those legs

What a wonderful park! Great open spaces and lots of natural beauty. My daughter loves the ducks and walking the trails. There’s plenty of benches for picnics and the bathrooms are clean. I will definitely be visiting again!

Its a nice park in the neighborhood for a short walk or may be a 5k run. Not quite sure, but the lap around the park should be half a mile! Enjoy!

Very good park for Pokemon go. Make sure you have a friend with you. There was a van that was following me as I was playing with my friend. Other then that very good park.

Love this pool, I love taking my kids here when we used to live closer, kids can swim the shaded kiddie area and still be close enough for me to see them from the canopy next to the pool. There’re alot of lounging chairs but I usually bring my own in case they’re all taken. You’re allowed to take food and drinks as well. Bathroom could use some cleaning, other than that, awesome place altogether. Life guards are very friendly and always on the lookout for the kiddos.

Nice park and walking trail. Well kept. Fishing is available with an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. There is a basketball court and a playground too. Areas to have a picnic lunch and benches to just sit and watch the world.

Love the park and the duck pond (where you can fish but you have to throw the fish back in the water). Has a playground, restrooms (near the outdoor pool), nice walking track with some minor inclines and a gazebo.

Such a cute park with plenty of seating. Right next to discount tire and brake check. Perfect spot to sit and wait, or walk around, and enjoy nature.

I go here to play Pokémon GO. There are a lot of PokéStops here and a gym. Its easy to walk around, and has a lot of lovely scenery, including a pond filled with fish for catch and release. (If youre into that) The cool 5hing I found is that they supply you with waste collection bags along the walkways for when you bring along your dog.Other amenities I havent participated in are an outdoor pool, and community garden.

Good place to take a walk with a friend and discuss things during this time of the virus. quite a few people walking and friendly. Felt like it was a safer choice than some of the other parks in Killeen that may have been closer to where I was working

Love this park! I take the kids here a lot because the park is covered by a large canopy keeping the little ones from the sun. I am able to walk around the park area while they play. Also, my son (10y/o) loves basketball so this is perfect for kids of all ages!

Nice park that is well kept up. Includes garden space you can rent, large swimming pool with lifeguards, small fishing lake, picnic tables, and a 1 mile walking path. One of my go to parks in the area

I love that they have a book exchange cubby. I also appreciate all the equipment and the local garden. One major downside is that a lot of smokers are casual about being so close to the playground and as I watched my 1yrs old play with the mulch that gave him a splinter, well I picked 3 cigarettes and had no close by trash can to throw them in. Once I saw how much trash and cigarette butts were actually there I decided to wrap things up with my 3 boys and head on home.

I absolutely love this park. Great environment and great location. It has a pond, a walking trail, a play area for kids, a pool for summer time fun and a basketball court. Great memorial park i recommend you visit.

I love this park! From feeding the ducks to swimming, this park is one of the best and better kept community hot spots. The play areas are covered, the pavilion area is perfectly located, there is ample space for gathering and entertaining, and they even have a community library! We love borrowing books and even donating to those book houses!

Best park in the Harker Heights/Nolanville/Killeen area, in my opinion. Monkey Bars, Shaded Play Area, Great Walk, Fishing Pond, Pool, Restrooms You Can Actually Use, Plenty of Benches, Recent Water Fountain Upgrades, Lots of Parking Options, Ducks, Open Areas (for playing catch, flying kites, frisbee, etc). It’s fantastic.

This is a nice park, lots of room to run and a nice pavilion. There was an Asian and Pacific island festival there that I attended and it was very spacious.

Park is always clean, community swimming pool with low cost to swim, two nice size parks, three tracks, many places to sit, big field to play, little pond to fish. Community garden area, free books on the path good place to donate books, walk your dogs, plan large events, there are rental spaces available though parks and rec.

My children love coming to this park to play basketball and play on the playground while i walk laps on the trails.

An amazing community park with shaded playgrounds, a basketball court, a walking/jogging track, picnic area, a duck pond, a party area, a community pool area, and even a garden. This park is very nice in comparison to the others around town.

The best playgrounds Ive seen all my life. Theyre fully equipped minus the merry go round but they have two different versions of the the see saw which is nice. Boys love it. The walk to the water is nice also. I have pics.

Its a beautiful park! Parking is on all sides so no matter what youre there for, to swim (Community pool), walk around for exercise, their pavilion, or the amazing shaded play area... its a great place to go!

I really enjoy the walking trails as they have little exercise stops every now and then. The trail is simple and theres not much scenery, but going early in the morning gives a nice refreshing feeling. I only wish there was more shaded areas to sit and wait as most of the spots arent covered most the time.

Gonna be honest here, I primarily go to this park to play Pokemon Go with my family. Most days its quiet enough to not feel crowded. On community event days, the park gets flooded with people interacting and having a good time together. Id pick this park over others in the area any day.

This is a lovely park. There are always kids playing and different groups doing activities. The park is clean, well lit, and easily accessible for people with mobility challenges. This is one of my favorite parks in the area.

Decent but could be better, needs a overall as the walking path is a trip hazard. The city is finally putting in a restroom near the playground. If Lions park wasnt so far I would frequent that one. People are also nicer there and not self appointing themselves as park police. Meaning individuals concerning themselves with things that have nothing to do with the protection of children, but more so on the judgement of others. Do as I say, but not as I do judgement.

If I could give this pool 100 stars I would. The staff is so amazing, especially the lifeguards. They always do their best at ensuring the rules and make sure everyone is safe. I come here all the time with my family because the staff is so welcoming. My kids love this pool and so does everyone I know. It is also a very good price to enter. Would definitely recommend this pool to everyone.

Great park with a wide variety of things to do.

The walking trail has aged a bit but still a nice park in a convenient location.

Nice park for a walk and talk with friends. Play area for the kiddos and lots of trees for shade. There is also a city swimming pool open in the summers. Family reunions can reserve the pavilion for food and fun. All dogs are welcome at the park.

Amazing park. Very well maintained. Each park has shade so you wont be burning in the sun. There is also picnic tables. I dont know if theres bathrooms.

Not open until 1.30 during the week. the bathroom was really disgusting. 5 children allowed per 1 adult. lifeguards way to chilled. overall dirty. had people waiting in scoring heat, in line to get in. no shade. opened the door at exactly 1.30, not a second sooner while they were lying around on their chairs instead of cleaning the place.

Great place to take the kids out for some fresh air and exercise. They have a small lake with ducks and geese, a covered playground for the young kids, covered picnic areas, a covered pavilion you can reserve, and a small amphitheater are available year-round. There also is a nice little public pool that is open in the summer months.

Clean and well kept. Their is a nice little community garden and a pool. The pool is undergoing some construction and it detracts from the total effect of the park.
