This place was great! Not only do they have arcade games, they also have an area set up with consoles and games. And if a machine is ever malfunctioning, then you can call up a staff member and have the machine fixed very quickly! It was cool exploring the multiple different rooms that they have full of things to play. They also have snacks and drinks to buy if you want anything.

Pretty good retro arcade but really bad staff. We stood here for 10 minutes with not a soul in the place - completely open but unattended - even checking the back rooms after a while. When she eventually wandered back in I legitimately felt like I was bothering her just by asking how to start one of the games, which turns out they had configured incorrectly to still require quarters. I got a dramatic high school sigh and useful suggestions like ‘did you push the start button’ and ‘it works, your just doing it wrong’. The eye roll when she figured out it was on their end and not a stupid customer was a bonus, but in all fairness she did have to put down her phone for the 90 seconds it took her to deal with those pestering customers.

There were alot of games but too many broken ones. Many games start but dont play properly. Metallica pinball and spy hunter were both down which is what I came here to play. 25$ for unlimited pass is not worth it for the condition of the games here. If the games all worked it would be 5 stars

I was very excited to go here with my girlfriend this past weekend. Both of us love arcades and we wanted to go to one with a strong, authentic retro vibe for our 1 year anniversary, and this looked like the perfect fit. Their website listed a ton of cabinets and games we both remember and love. We drove all the way from Reading and bought day passes as soon as we got there.Unfortunately, Id estimate about 40% of all the cabinets werent working for some reason or another: marked out of order, one pinball flipper not working, screen incredibly dim, half of a 2 player racing cabinet not working, one of two light guns not shooting, etc. I was extremely disappointed. While I know downtime comes with the territory of games that are 30-50 years old, there were just too many for me to feel the money I spent was worth it, which sucks because I loved the atmosphere of this place, there was a fantastic selection of games, and I drove an hour and a half out here to try this place. I was so close to loving this arcade, but the sheer amount of out of order games put a heavy damper on that. With more working games, this would be an easy 5 stars.

Found this looking up old school arcades. Downside was that it was an hour and a half drive. Upside was that it had some good old classic games! They had a good selection of arcade classics and pinball games - even had couch games of old school nintendo console games. Plan to be there a couple hours, hard to walk away from the fun.

Only been here once but I will tell you, I loved it! Theyve got almost any classic arcade game you can think of: Ms.Pacman, Galaga, Space Invaders, Pacmania, Donkey Kong Jr, Fix It Felix Jr, Punch Out, ect. Theres even a few pinball machines all over the place as well. And if youd like, theres even a few retro game consoles such as NES, Super NES, and Sega. Heck, theres even some of the new consoles such as PS4 and Xbox One! This place is amazing! If you havent came here yet you should! I will make sure I come back to this location and I will also be sure to hit up the other location in York!

We went here for a bit of Nostalgia and the place delivered with that. There are tons of games from the 80s and 90s along with a large selection of pinball machines. The way the place operates is it gives you a card that you need to activate most of the machines. The card is kind of you game pass and tracks the amount of time youve been there. Its $10 for the first hour (minimum) and then $5 for each half hour after that (and they round down). You can also buy an all day pass for $25 which allows you to leave and come back anytime during the day. If during your visit you stay longer than 2.5 hours, the most they will charge you is $25, the price of the all day pass. The selection of games is pretty cool, (spent a good half hour on Area 51) but it was disappointing when about 25% of the games had either unresponsive controls, or didnt work all together. The Air Hockey table outside the place is fun, but needs to be maintained as it seemed like there wasnt enough air coming out of the table. This allowed the puck to go flying all over the place and could potentially hit someone walking up the steps. The room everything is located in is pretty packed and can be tight squeezing by people, especially if its busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and seemed like a pretty laid back fun place. I had a good time and its worth checking out, I just dont think Ill make a return trip.

Not a bad place, but not great either.Parking is kind of in a shady area, because its on the side of the building. No cameras an no security. Parking is also very tight; as in.. if you dont pull forward as much as possible, you risk getting hit in the rear bumper when someone pulls in down the street.Inside was a little confusing; for people who are not familiar with the town/area, once you enter the establishment, take the stairs on the immediate left. The arcade is located on the second floor. The woman who was working was courteous and patient with new customers who have never been there. The room is filled with old classic arcade games such as Tron, Fix it Felix Jr, Tetris, quite a few pin-ball machines, etc. Although there are quite a few machines, the room is still.. incredibly cramped! It is very easy to either accidentally be bumped into or bump into someone yourself; since the room is so close quarters, i would advise being aware of pick pocketers as this is a perfect area for them.On the plus side, you dont have to pay per game, this establishment plays by time. Some machines are run by cards and some just need to push the start button.Upon exiting the arcade the lady required the cards back; even though there were still points on the card, as i said earlier, the arcade is run by time. With the amount of points that were on the card and the cost of each game.. you would need to spend HOURS to even make a dent in the cards points. Thus the arcade is run by how much time you paid for to play.Even when i had realized that an hour had passed by, i noticed that the card was still active and working.. so i could only assume that the play time is based on an honor system. I wasnt hunted down by anyone, telling my time was up and the card kept working. So just be a good person and either pay for more time or exit the arcade after your time is up.Dont be a D-Bag.

The pinball machines had a good selection as well but many are in need of leveling and repair. Not really worth the price that we paid. There is a ton of nostalgia at this place. I felt like I was at a museum more than an arcade. Unfortunately there are many games with faulty buttons and some that do not work at all. I love the idea and spirit behind this place but $10.00 per hour is steep. I would never spend $10 on these games in an hour because most were only a quarter per turn back in the day. One hour is not enough time to enjoy all these games.

The employee working while we were there (1/18) was extremely polite and helpful. We took advantage of the BYOB offer, which was very easy. While there were some games that were out of order that we wanted to play, I can only imagine the work that has to go into getting them fixed constantly, so it wasnt nearly enough games down to be an issue for us. Throw in that they had a working air hockey table, a large amount of consoles, rock band, and some unique games we hadnt seen before, and we know we will definitely be looking forward to the next time we can make it out to visit.

Drove up from Baltimore on a Friday evening and was not disappointed. BYOB policy is great, brought in a six pack and played games for over 3 hours. Great investment on a night out that is still cheaper than going to the movies. We only planned on staying for maybe an hour to keep the price at 10 bucks each, but there were so many old games to play that we havent seen since we were kids, so we couldnt leave! The free play aspect is awesome, we ended up getting stuck on a single machine because we could keep on with Continue, rather than giving up since we didnt have to feed it any coins. Personal favorites are the Pacman vs Pacman game (up to 4 players!) and Gauntlet. As well as the Star Wars Pin ball machine! We dont have anything like this near us in Baltimore that we know of, and the one we went to in D.C. was not nearly the same (it was an arcade bar that ended up being ridiculously expensive!). Id highly recommend this to anyone within a 1 hr radius of Hanover as a very nostalgic, chill, and fun thing to do. Great for date night, hanging out with friends, or just killing time by yourself. We will definitely be coming back.Pros:- BYOB- Free-play arcades. Get past the spot where you usually have to give up!- Plenty of pinball machines!- Staff was helpful- Bathroom was clean- They had Star Trek playing on the projector screen which definitely completed the arcade/nerd vibe for me.- Not overly crowded (which surprised me!)- They have a game couch with console games, including older consoles like N64, Genesis, SNES, NES as well as new systems like PS4 (we didnt get a chance to check this out, but saw others playing).Cons:- It is a bummer when some of the machines are either out of order (less annoying but expected) or are partially not working, like finding out the jump button for P2 or a joystick doesnt work after you started playing (more annoying). But I hope my review will nudge people on the fence of that dreaded what to do tonight feeling when they google things to do, and feel inspired to go! More business will end up meaning more money for maintenance.Neither Pro or Con:- Bathroom is unisex.. or multisex.. or co-ed. Not sure the term, but its for both male and female and accommodates multiple stalls. As a guy, this did not concern me. So it may be my gender-bias talking but Im not sure I would be super comfortable as a young woman! (However, the door can be locked for privacy - not 100% sure of the store policy on whether you are supposed to or not).

Its nice because you can come and go as you please all evening. Now unfortunately, the experience was hindered by quite a few machines (especially the fighters) being broken. I understand the older machines take a lot of work to maintain, but we are talking mainly about analog joystick and button replacement. These are items that should be working...its your only job.
