Part of Darthmouth splendid campus! It is elegant and homey. All the campus buildings are within 15-20 minutes walk. Within these institutions, it is equipped properly, and it also has excellent rowing and football team. But that isnt related to this park. It is peaceful and has many private pockets in which students can study in. Its remarkably quiet and zen too.
Very pretty campus.
Beautiful park. Wonderful campus.
Nice green
The grass was comfy. There was music and food. Lots of dogs and small children were running around, and everybody was having fun. It was a great experience, and I plan to go back again soon.
Great place to hang out and meet up with friends at
Its a beautiful park that both residents and college students share!
Nice place to start a walking tour of Dartmouth. The place can be quite pretty in the winter when it is covered in snow. We arrived by car and easily found paid street parking a short distance away along South Main Street.
Nice spot to sit around with a coffee and people watch when the weather is nice. During the summer theres a farmers market on the Green every Wednesday afternoon, youll smell the kettle corn!
The people are rude and dont look when crossing. Just jumping in front of cars even when not on a crosswalk
The Green is a bit like the home-base for all things Dartmouth. Although often blanketed under a layer of snow, or in the middle of recovering from a muddy spring, the Green is home to the fall bonfire, the winter snow sculpture, as well as the giant Christmas tree lighting. During the spring and summer, students are often all over, studying, playing frisbee, or just enjoying the good weather while it lasts. Though not always the greenest, it is a cultural center for students and the college traditions.
Dartmouth Green is the most wonderful place in downtown Hanover in spring, summer and fall. Bring your children and/or pets to sit on the Green watching Dartmouth students playing Frisbee or just be part of the community.
Scenic and peaceful
This is a gigantic lawn that blends Dartmouth College and the Town of Hanover. Theres not much to do, but I can imagine its a nice place to hang out on a summer day.
