Live only a couple miles from this place its beautiful and gorgeous. Seems like it never ends. There is signs to know which trail you are going to. Love the lake views and little creeks.
Some downed trees, but mostly maintained trails with good mix of terrain. Dog walker & jogger friendly. Larger secondary parking located 39.768396,-76.926129. Has some benches sprinkled about trails, but few useable tables. Trail signage is new, but ambiguous. Insect count low compared to other woods.
A beautiful beginner trail that winds around the lake and wetlands. Find a map online beforehand so you don’t get lost! Lots of wildlife - flora & fauna to see. Best for walking or biking, not for strollers though, the trail is too small for that at times.
I got dead ended in couple spots. Need better directions and trees cleared out of the path.
Well kept trail not too hilly. Dog friendly. Wear hiking boots-shoes can get muddy. Took the short yellow trail loop but will be back to explore other trails near codourus lake.
Varied things to see. Nice 2.4 mile loop. But was not marked well and had poison ivy that needed to be addressed.
Took the kids and wife had a great time
The trail was free of trash, followed along great lakeside stops, and bird watching points. Other hikers are friendly as well. The trail is also rather length (which I prefer) and my dog loves it.
It was so beautiful and then crossing the bridge were baby tiny frogs lol its was kool n then on the way out from sitting on the bench btw watch for falling walnuts there walking back over saw tiny tiny fishy so its pretty coool
Beautiful day and a beautiful hike
I hike frequently and wanted to explore other parts of Codorus. This place was much better than expected (and way better than Laho trail). It is very beautiful scenery and a great walk. However, somebody needs to work on trash clean-up. Why not take care of the body of water you created?
Easy to moderate trail with uphill and downhill climbs. One or two geocache spots and river and lake points of interest. 3.8 mile loop that can be very muddy at low lying areas. Narrow trail at most points if you have a dog that needs space.
I love this trail !! Its cool in the woods !
Awesome family and dog friendly hiking
Nice hiking trail along beautiful lake Marburg. Trail is well maintained
Beautiful
Nice trail but some spots are not well marked and some parts are very overgrown.
I love this trail.
Fresh air. Colorful foliage. Hidden away from everything
Some of the trail is over grown and there are several fallen trees on the path but over all a nice hike. Just remember the bug spray.
Always a great place to hike with family and dog
I like it with my dog. Got 2 ticks.
Amazing hiking trail.
